Lunch special for a reasonable price. Not bad eats. It’s the patty the reason I keep coming back. Fast, tasty, and priced reasonably. Worth coming back if you’re a local.

I’ve been to this location many times but it seems every time I go my experience gets worse than the last time. Do yourself a favor and go to Tropical Cuisine. It’s on Old National as well close to the interstate. There food is absolutely delicious. Right now I’m eating rice and peas and some of the rice and beans are hard. Just ate a burnt piece of something. Eww!

This is by far the worst restaurant in the area! Not expecting much from Old National but this exceeded the lowest expectation possible. We order several things from soup to oxtail to beef patties and ALL of it was horrible

I actually don’t care for this location very much. The staff have no customer service skills and the hot food is hit or miss. Except if we’re talking about the patties which are always a miss because they’re so doughy. So why am I here so often? My lunch date comes here to stock up on the bread/pastry selections and often gets hot food while here cause why not. If it wasn’t for him I’d never come here.

The best Jamaican restaurant in Atlanta. They’re very consistent. I don’t think they’re ever had an off day(as far as the cooking goes). They serve nuff food! Well worth the price. They also sell pepper shrimp and Greatnut ice cream! What more could you ask for?

Being from Flatbush Brooklyn I’m a little familiar with this chain. It had been some years since I’d eaten any Golden Krust, originally popular in NY for beef patties. We stopped in one day out of curiosity, I was surprised to see one on Old Nat. We were not disappointed. There is a reason the line is often out the door. The food line was clean and steaming. We wanted it all. THEYHAVEROTI! YAY. The roti was tasty and I’ll probably have it again. I was hoping they had the Flatbush flavor but it was good enough. We also had the jerk chicken(of course) and it was very flavorsome and a generous portion. The portions were great as we could not kill it in one sit down. Typically the WI restaurants we go to just don’t give a lot of food for the price. Golden Krust piled it on. The service is a lot faster than any WI restaurant in the area; service line was also friendly and efficient. We are fans and will certainly go again, it’s about 20 minutes from my house and I will pass a few Caribbean spots to get there but it’s worth it.

food was good but theres a arrogant and disrespectful lady in there like shes making love to all the men in there. she gave me problems after one time I came in there and asked for oxtails dinner. once before the other fixed my plate with 3 to four plantines then when I asked for a extra order she .got frisky after that. next time I came in she was quick to put up food .they took the food to the back .get it straight no one wants left overs. probably something they was gonna serve me was prob heated in the microwave or from the next day. i dint want that .this business serves food right in front of u… as I saw a worker go to back with the serving plate .It took amin for him to come back .then I told her I didn’t want it any more then she outloud said I was rude. how rude of her no coustomer service I am lightskinned I think its the color of my skin. i wouldn’t recommend this location…

This spot is bomb!!! No joke! My boyfriend and I decided to try this spot out. We were starving, per usual, and we ordered the king fish and snapper; one fried with the pickled onions and carrots on top with rice and plantains and the snapper had the delicious brown sauce with rice, plantains and cabbage. The food reminded me of up North! Everything was cooked to perfection. The rice wasn’t hard or undercooked, the plantains weren’t too soft and the FISH! Mouth watering. I recommend this spot over This Is It! Which is right next door haha We’re definitely coming back to this spot!

It has been awhile since I’ve had Caribbean food and usually when I do it’s always a beef patty. This time I decided to not only try the beef patty but a dish as well. Arrived at the location and noticed that it was very clean which encouraged me more to order something so after looking over the menu I decided to order the large plate of curry chicken. I wanted to keep it simple and basic. I also ordered a beef patty with cheese and coco bread. When making my order the server was in no form of fashion lenient and piled my plate high with rice and chicken. It smelled delicious. Upon tasting the food it was a perfect blend of spices and the chicken literally fell off the bone! Very good indeed. Although the food was good, there was just a few issues that came up. The first one was the beef patty. I usually get mine with cheese or put cheese in it when I get home. I requested that they put cheese in it and she took my party to the back and came back shortly. It was warmed and put in the coco bread. When I finally did take a bite of the patty it was cold on the inside. Not because it wasn’t cooked but because the server literally, I mean literally cut a block of cheese and put it in the patty. Not a slice but a ¾ quarter block stuffed right in the middle. It was barely melted and if you have ever eaten a block of cheese you know the taste is way more over powering than a regular slice. Basicly it was like eating a cheese sandwich. I could not taste the flavors of the patty, only cheese. My second concern was from where I was standing I could see into the kitchen and the server dropped a few spoons on the floor from a certain area. She pick the spoons up and put them back where they fell from. Maybe they were already dirty perhaps but I would assume you put dirty spoons in the sink or staging area to be cleaned. Not saying they do use dirty utensils but just something I noticed. If your a big fan of Jamaican food, this is definitely a cheaper alternative if your not familiar with cooking it yourself.

Awesome beef patty. I did a review at the stone mountain location.
