Intown Atlanta Speech Therapy

My son is a 4 year old with some articulation issues. He saw Kim regularly for about six months and I can’t say enough good things about his progress and how great Kim is. Before we even met, she addressed my million questions/​concerns with care and professionalism both via email and on the phone. In person, she is warm and down-​to-​earth and my son (who is typically rather timid) warmed up to her immediately. Every child is different, but we started seeing improvements immediately and I think it’s because Kim knew exactly where and what would work best with our son. After each session, Kim spent a lot of time letting me know what she and Tyler worked on, how is progress was coming along and what we could do at home to help.
Kim took great care to communicate with me and continued to thoughtfully guide me through any concerns I had along the way. I’m so thankful we found her and if we ever need therapy in the future, we’ll be back for certain.

Kim has worked with my teenage son and he has shown improvement in a very short amount of time. Kim is professional, kind and tailored sessions to meet his needs. He actually looked forward to going to see «Miss Kim» and working with her. Highly recommended!

I’m an adult with a mild stutter. It interfered with my work, which requires public speaking. I didn’t think that speech therapy could help since I had already done that as a child. After a consultation with Kim I decided to give it a try. She was very kind, supportive and really tailored the treatment to my needs. We used practice words from my work instead of the canned set of words. After only 3 months I was so happy with the improvement. I have much more control over my speech and I have a lot more confidence. Kim was very encouraging while still be realistic. I highly recommend her. I know that she is also wonderful with children.

My son received speech therapy for 6 months with another speech therapist, before we found Kim. I was amazed by how quickly he improved under Kim’s care, compared to the original therapist. Kim is dedicated and thorough. She communicates well with both the child and the parents on the child’s progress and direction of care. She is creative with her treatment approach and easily change her approach if she notes that the child is not making the necessary gains. She was quick to respond to questions by email or phone regarding my child’s progress. Overall, I have been very impressed and my child has enjoyed working with her. Another perk is that she is located in Grant Park, which I find to be a very unserved area of town when it comes to medical care. Thanks Kim!
