Just came to this location. It was empty and not busy at all. We sat down and waited for fifteen minutes. No server ever came over to us or even acknowledged us. A server stopped by the table right next to us four times without even a glance in our direction. We left. Can’t believe the service was that terrible.

They are extremely slow!!! I called in an order for a biscuit and turkey sausage. I was told it would be ready in 5 minutes. I walked down, paid for the meal and still waited almost an additional 10 minutes. I would have understood if they were busy but there may have been 4 people in the entire place including myself. This was my first and last visit to this location. Then someone came out of the kitchen, went back and started working without washing his hands or putting on gloves. I asked for my money back and left.

I Christopher is just average. Imagine a breakfast place that can’t poach an egg? First round came out with barely cooked eggs — as in runny egg whites. The server explained to me that was what a poached egg is. Then a manger came and told me the same. The definition of a poached egg is runny yolk and solid white. Of course the second round came out cooked hard. So if you want eggs Benedict don’t come here.

This place is just not good. Yes, if you make an effort, I am sure you can find a worse spot to get breakfast, but I would not make it a point to come here. A few reasons: — chai tea was comparable to drinking a bowl of sugar diluted with water — menu is very boring, basically nothing more exciting than you would find at Waffle House — BLT was plain, bacon was of low quality, poorly cooked(not crispy) and at the end of the day, just not tasty — ketchup for breakfast potatoes is not readily available, I don’t understand why I have to ask for that and try to flag down the waiter. Annoying.

Delicious breakfast, a lot of different choices on the menu. located in the heart of Buckhead with 2 hour free covered parking! Thumbs up!

Pretty average. Nothing is bad here and it’s consistent. But the menu isn’t all that creative, and the food is ok. I live close, and there is rarely a wait, so I come a few times a year. But overall I find it to be pretty regular. Corn beef hash is pretty on point though.

Brunch was delicious, friendly and relaxed but efficient service, reasonable prices, cheery, bright, open space, and free valet parking. Have brunched here for years, and will continue to do so! Good job!

Terrible service, too many students who do not know what they are doing. New manager caused this place to lose lots of business due to lack of experience, overheard managers and associates conversations about customers which I find very rude! Come to find out manager and other associates do not use gloves all the time when cooking, which is very unsanitary. I love J. Christopher’s but save yourself the disappointment and go to the one in sandy springs or Kennesaw!

What a disappointment! The décor is nice and the servers are nice enough but boy it’s slow. Our waitress is nice but only see her ever ten minutes, had to get up twice to get things. The food is nothing to write home about. Got the blueberry pancakes and they were dry and almost returned them but we were too hungry to wait. Omelette wasn’t anything special, said it came with spinach… about two pieces. You don’t get your money’s worth here, on the pricey side for what you get. Tasted like its all frozen and warmed up. Manager was nice and helped out. So many other places to try, skip this one.

Grabbing a quick bite to eat before a meeting! This location validates the parking deck for two hours for free which is really nice especially in Atlanta! I built my own omelet with bacon, chicken, and spinach. So delicious! I paired it with oven roasted potatoes and an English muffin. Perfection! The manager Todd was really helpful and attentive as well.

This place blows… it’s horrible! Came in after meeting @ 1 Buckhead Plaza(it was a good meeting… I was in an up mood). Greeter was fine, and let me choose the booth I wanted, then I got to meet my surly waitress(ugh!). Service was quick and bad — ordered scrambled eggs, fruit, and side of salsa — eggs were flat and tasteless, salsa was from a jar(and not even a decent one), and fruit was warm(not just not cold, but affirmatively warm). Tried to take advantage of free wifi, clicked through a ‘Think Progress’ website link, and got blocked on ‘J Christopher’s Appropriate Use Policy’. The story was about a AR-15 toting Texas Preacher who shops in Walmart w/his automatic rifle strapped to his back, and given that the site is liberal, and doesn’t feature nude or loud content, I’ve got to believe the block was a function of liberalism… wow…just wow… so let’s recap; 1) service bad and surly, 2) food bad, 3) ‘free wifi’ is censored — yep, J Christopher’s, you suck!

Sunday morning brunch never tasted so good! A group of my friends and I were searching for a quick but nice brunch place in our Sunday morning rush. And after looking through a few options, J Christopher’s seemed to be the best. First off, the free parking for this may be tricky but its just the parking garage that connected to publix and there’s even a back entrance to the restaurant which adds so much convenience considering parking in Atlanta is difficult to find. Secondly, we were seated within 10 to 15 minutes of walking in, despite the Sunday brunch rush. It was clearly busy so we were pleasantly surprised when we were seated and served immediately. The food was amazingly quick as it only took about 5 to 10 minutes for our food to come out — which would explain the fast turn around. The waitress was super friendly and checked up on a good amount of times to get a great tip. Now for the food. I got the oatmeal blueberry pancakes — one of the specials on the menu. And it was delicious. These hotcakes were light, fluffy, and heaven in a bite. The oatmeal added the perfect amount of crunch to the pancakes and I was about to enter a food coma after just eating two. I took the third one to enjoy the next morning. My friends both got skillets which were super hearty and were definitely worth their money as they both didn’t finish theirs and were able to take some leftovers home. All and all, this place was great find with its basic hearty brunch and a staple in the Atlanta area. It’s not life-changing but its good enough for me to keep on my radar time and time again.

Environment is cool. Grits and blueberry crunch pancake were good. Veggie omelet and shrimp and grits were ok. Service was good although we had two different waitresses approach us at first. Hostess didn’t eat her Wheaties that day and barely greeted us.

Just what I was looking for this morning! Only my 2nd ever J Christophers experience since moving to the atl. I like the atmosphere of the Roswell location better, but I received great friendly service and an even better breakfast. 2 words: PUMPKINPANCAKES If its in season, they must be eaten!

I ate here last weekend with a large group. The service was great. I was surprised considering large parties normally suffer in service. I tried their sweet potato pancakes with turkey bacon. They were«ok». Def not better than Highland Bakery! Having been to J Christophers, various locations, I find them to be a general breakfast/brunch place. Nothing awesome on their menu but nothing awful either. Considering all the awesome places in ATL I don’t see the point in eating at this chain.

In the words of the hubby, «Our waiter was Johnny on the Spot!» Yes, J Christopher’s has very good service. Our waiter served out party of 12 with ease and no stress. Something not every establishment or waiter is able to do. As far as the food, it was all right. Nothing stellar in my opinion, however this place does get a star for having a menu that includes several options for those on a low fat or low carb diet. The low carb platter(turkey sausage or turkey bacon, fresh fruit, 2 slices of whole wheat toast, with 3 scrambled egg whites) is perfect for anyone watching their calorie count. The restaurant is clean, provides for 2 hours of parking validation, and for a Buckhead location does not break the bank. My verdict: Nice brunch spot for a healthy bite.

My cousin and I have wholeheartedly attempted to meet for brunch every other Sunday, well she has to be at work at 11, so it’s really breakfast. This Sunday, we were pushed for time so i went to Unilocal looking for breakfast spots in her zip code. I am very familiar with J Christophers, always went to the one in PTC when i lived there, now i sometimes go to the one off of ponce, but this establishment really isn’t anything special. I have never had anything on their menu that made me… meow, for lack of a better word. we sat on the patio, it was kind of windy, but nonetheless a beautiful day. I have the huevos ranchos-this play on eggs benedict w/red onions, avocado, blah blah bleh. it was cold and not good at all. the avacdo and tomato added a yucky texture to it. and it is not even a satisfying serving. I was so damn hungry after eating it all! i wont be getting it again, i should have stuck with my skillet order like i intended. damn you 2nd thoughts! my cousins shared a waffle with fresh strawberries, very yummy but they only shared 1 bite with me-bitches! and they also ordered the bacon cheddar omelet, it was a good consistency and had a lot of pieces of bacon(i prefer more additions in my omelets). My new buddy had the J. Christopher’s Club with bacon, a fried egg, turkey and cheddar and jack cheeses. he enjoyed it! so i guess, i was the only still hungry-not so happy camper when we left.

So, I totally did not *heart* the J. Christopher’s on Ponce that I used to live very close to, and was quite skeptical today when a friend requested I dine with her at the newish Buckhead location. Luckily, I was pleasantly surprised. Here’s a quick rundown of why: * Sweet and both attentive and patient server — we were quite, um, indecisive and she checked on us at frequent intervals(without any hovering or side-eyeing) till we were ready to order. * Tasty«cheeseburger burrito.» Not what I expected — lovely presentation, but looked more like two soft tacos with a half-burger in each, on top of shredded romaine, diced tomato and red onion, and with a spicy chipolte mayo. YUM. Sides of a tasty yellow rice and a small bowl of black beans. I’d definitely get this again. My friend got the«chicken crepes»(side note: chicken, broccoli, mushrooms; side of potatos — she liked it fairly well, but we agreed I made the better pick). *Pleasant and friendly-feeling atmosphere, a manager who came over to check on us, and — a huge plus in any high-rise situation — FREE parking in the garage. Sweet. Only open till 2pm, it’s definitely a b’fast and lunch place, but one I’d say is great if you work or live nearby, want a casual and quick meal(we got our food in under 10 mins, closer to 5) and definitely the most budget-friendly spot in this complex!
