Our team is dedicated to educating women on makeup application techniques and skincare products, and to provide them with honest, expert advice. Our goal is to listen to the customer, focus on their needs, and enhance their natural beauty.

History

Established in 2013.

Julian’s Cosmetics and Skincare was founded by Julian Reynolds and Craig Allemeier. Their vision was to create a unique shopping experience in a boutique environment where women can find high quality cosmetics and skincare products, where they can receive professional spa and makeup application services, all while being in a relaxed and friendly environment.

They understand that customers can go anywhere to purchase their cosmetics, skincare, and receive services. Therefore, it is their goal to create a shopping experience that is tailored to the customer by selecting products and services from multiple cosmetic and skincare lines based on a customer’s personalized needs. They have created a shopping experience that is different than one might have at a crowded department store, which focuses on brand goals more than the needs of the customer, providing a more intimate neighborhood environment at Julian’s.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Julian Reynolds is a renowned makeup artist with over 14 years experience in the retail cosmetics industry. He began his cosmetic career working in the cosmetic and fragrance department at JCPenney’s. From there he went on to work at Macy’s as a counter manager for Origins, Clarins, and Christian Dior Cosmetics. To enhance his skills as a makeup artist, Julian took a position at Saks Fifth Avenue with Bobbi Brown cosmetics. There he had the opportunity to work with celebrities such as Bette Midler, Christina Aguilera, and Halle Berry, among others. Julian has also done makeup for TV, Print, Stage and NYC fashion week. He went on to become the business manager for Khiels, a division of L’OREAL, at Bloomingdales 59^th Street.
