K&G Fashion Superstore Atlanta, GA is your local discount retailer. We offer up to 60% off department store prices on brand-name men’s, women’s and kids’ clothing, footwear and accessories.
Buy your suit here, but get it tailored elsewhere. The tailoring quality is shoddy & they don’t even call and notify you that your clothes are ready. We had multiple pieces done here for our wedding and the quality of service was horrible. To make matters worse, the tailors at this location tried to add a $ 15 crease that we didn’t want. We won’t be coming back.

Cameron did a great job helping me get a suit. I have zero style on anything but AF1s and had a great experience with everything. If you are a super tall white dude with no style, go here, ask for Cameron and you will be good!

K&G has been one of my go-to spots for YEARS. This one in particular has been my spot since I moved to Atlanta in late 2013, and with good reason: great selection of big and tall clothing, and a fucking phenomenal selection of self-tie bowties. Generally, I’m stopping here when I need to re-up on anything that I might need to look A1 at work… button downs, suit jackets, slacks, neckties or bowties, tie bars… but I refuse to buy shoes from here… that’s not a thing. They haven’t failed me yet, and their selection of shirts in the 20 neck/38 sleeve range is a thing of beauty. The only gripe I have? No public restrooms due to construction.

We shopped here a lot. We bought 4 suits and had them altered. When we pulled out one of the suits it had grease marks all the way down the pants leg. When we took it back to the store they accused us of dry cleaning it before we came in and would not refund us. We will never shop at this store again. The worker was rude and then the alterations came up and said that there was no way it could come from one of their machines, which is a lie because I sew and know that it’s a accident but it is possible. When you buy a suit check it before you take it to the alterations and when you get it back check it before you leave the store!

K&G Fashion Superstore is a discount menswear store located in an industrial part of Westside Atlanta. The store is big and occupies an old warehouse off of Chattahoochee Ave. between Marietta Blvd. and Howell Mill Rd. Oddly enough, there are other discount menswear stores in the vicinity. I wonder why they chose this area. K&G is the place to head for cheap suits, dress shoes, and accessories. If you’re aware of this going in, then this place won’t disappoint you. You are not going to find an extensive selection of fashion forward or high-end suits. You will find plenty of basic, classic suits. I’m hardly a fashion guru, but I’ve got enough sense to know that pleated slacks and boxy shoulder pads just scream 1990s. This style appears in abundance here. Good luck finding slim fit or European cut apparel. Service is hit or miss. Mostly miss. Example: I came in to try on a suit for an out-of-town wedding. The bride called this store to make sure it had the suit in stock, in my size, and ready for me to try on. As soon as I walked into the store, a sales associate asked me if I needed any help. I told him the exact suit and size I was looking for. This associate, an older gentlemen, had an arrogant attitude and talked down to me. He was completely skeptical and, as he walked me towards the rack with suits my size, told me that they did not carry suits in my size… until he saw the suit sitting right there on the rack. Trying to calmly play it off, he picked it up off the rack and handed it to me. On the flip side, there’s an older Hispanic lady that works here that is a sweetheart. Also, the tailors seem to do a good job. There’s an entire staff of tailors and they work through a high volume of jobs, so they’ve got they’ve streamlined the alterations process to be quite efficient. I purchased a pair of dress pants and the turnaround time was about a week. The quality of the pants plus some additional cuff links I picked up was OK. Since you’re inside a warehouse, don’t expect anything to be nice like Brooks Brothers. This includes the dressing rooms. Actually, in terms of the environs, K&G is a step down from its peers like Men’s Wearhouse and S&K. If you’re in a pinch, K&G should suffice. Just don’t expect the greatest quality, service, or selection.

I used to find good stuff at K&G. One of my favorite fashion forward shirts, which elicits lots of positive comments, came from here and I’ve found the occasional Perry Ellis or other name brand shirt. But, they’ve zeroed in on their core customer, black males, with brands like Sean Jean, Coogi, Steve Harvey and Blair Underwood. I’m not in that demographic. The shoe department always yielded a nice selection of choices. But, brands like Kenneth Cole, Bostonian and Clark have lost shelf space to brands like Stacey Adams, one of the most uncomfortable shoes ever, and U.S. Polo Association, a brand that just screams cheap knockoff. Recent trips haven’t yielded much of anything. Plus, the parking lot is all torn up. Pot holes are huge and can swallow the front end of a car, knocking alignments out of whack. But, a trip to K&G might not be for naught. They’ve got an extensive selection of suits and are a good place to buy a first suit. They also sell tuxedos at reasonable prices. And there’s a nice choice of polo shirts and brightly colored beach wear, plus an extensive big and tall shop with sizes up to XXXXXL. However, options that appeal to me are diminishing more and more.

Always find something more than I was looking for. The folks here are nice and they just freaking have everything. Every location doesn’t give me this type of feeling or results but I come to this location without fail.

Good sales if you are going there just for suits only. I bought 2 Blair Underwood suits for $ 169, buy 1 get 1 free. But factor in 2 shirts and 2 ties($ 84), which aren’t free like most suit outlets… including Men’s Wearhouse!!! Alterations were $ 120 for 2 suits… WTH??? This was DOUBLE than I anticipated! Out of curiousity, I then went next door to D&K and they had better quality of suits to my liking and I bought 2 more suits from them. He also gave me a better quote on alterations on the suits I bought from K & G… same job ½ the amount. I was disappointed with K &G because I got the impression that they thought this was OK and it wasn’t cool at all. My sales person even asked was everything fine when I was paying at the register and I explained the problem I had with the cost of the alterations and she didn’t offer to lend any help.

I placed an on-line order on November 26 for three shirts. After nearly 2 weeks, I had no delivery and no email status on my order. The link in my order confirmation email to find the status of my order did not work. I called the the number to find the status of my order. I did have to wait because all agent were busy. The agent calmly told me that my order had been canceled because the items were out of stock. Folks don’t waste your time shopping on-line with K&G.

This place has saved me and served me well more than once. I am, admittedly, not that style conscious. Sure I notice style in other men, and in women, but I’m usually found in scrubs or in shorts and a t-shirt. Then there are occasions that pop up and need to be dressed up for, in that case I usually head on over to K&G to find some nice pants, a suit, a «cosby» sweater or what have you. This week i needed a couple options for an event I was attending with my girlfriend and came up with some shirts, a couple of ties, socks that didn’t have an Adidas logo, shoes, a sport coat and a pair of jeans. They have tons of suits, many of which are similar, in a bevvy of sizes so you’ll more than likely find what you’re looking for if you need a tame suit and plenty of accessories to jazz it up as needed.

I went to K&G this week with a friend who needed a suit for a business trip 3 days later. After reading the reviews here, we were both worried that we would be a bit lost in the store… boy were we wrong. Within 1 minute of walking in the door, Fred stepped in to help us and led my friend to a Hugo Boss suit for less than $ 200. Unreal. He helped us through each step of the process from assisting with alterations to picking out the right shirt and tie to go with the suit. I should also mention that Cameron stepped in at one point and was just as helpful as Fred. I can’t imagine better customer service or better prices. And yes, he bought the suit on Thursday night and the alterations were done by Saturday at 2pm. Very impressive!

Excellent prices for men’s suits and dress clothes, but not necessarily the best selection. I’m with Rilindo on this one, it’s a better option for dress shirts and accessories than for suits. It’s a close race between here and Filene’s for the best prices on dress shirts for me. As for the suits, some of them just make me shake my head and try to imagine how silly I’d look in them. My taste in suits is pretty old school. I like suits that can be in style ten years from now if I take care of it(and myself, let’s be honest). Boring? Maybe, but I don’t end up with a closet full of odd colors and suit coats with seven buttons…

K & G offers quality men’s suits at bargain-basemen bases — essentially, they are a clearning house for suits(I heard that they are owned by Men’s Warehouse, which would explain why I seen some of the same suits in both places). Ironically enough, I never buy suits from that place, but I buy the other stuff — belts, ties, shoes and dress shirts. I mean, a Van Hausen shirt for 14.95 — and it is brand new, not squished and wrinkled? How can you beat that? Since it is a warehouse type store, you won’t get too bothered by sales men, which may be a good thing if you know what you want. However, if you don’t, go to a Men’s Warehouse or JoS — you may get annoyed by the people, but at least you’ll know what you want and get the suit your need. Yes/No? Well, stop by there and try it out. Even if you can’t find the suit you want, you’ll find something that you’ll like.
