This location is a little dark and dreary. The staff is so-so, depends on who you end up dealing with. Several items on the shelves are expired; I bought some sauce last week and later noticed it had expired 6 months ago. There have been solicitors in the parking lot every single time I’ve been here. The last time, the girl followed me inside and started chatting up the manager like they were the best of friends. There’s also no gas station to use your points at. Pass this location up and head to Marietta – MUCH nicer and worth the few extra miles.

Keeping this super short. Sketchy at night, don’t go solo. Unless you can go HAM and are built like a gorilla. They also don’t have all the selections as other Krogers. Such examples are Campbell soup’s Slow Kettle style to limited options of Greek yogurt; examples being solely Fage, Stoneyfield, some house brand flavors, and a couple more that I can’t recall. Though I am not that big of health foods person, their selection is also limited. Pretty much 3 very short aisles and a half regular size freezer section which is also cramped for some reason. Unless you shop for mainly Kroger brand items for the deal of 10 for $ 10, you might not find anything at this location.

This is probably my least favorite kroger I’ve ever been to. As other reviews have mentioned I do tend to find myself driving miles out of the way to go to a different supermarket even though this is the closest store to my home. The parking lot does not seem to have any entrances/exits that allow to a convenient passage. The parking lot itself is on a hill and the entire shopping center is just a little off. There always seems to be sketchy people just ‘hanging out’ people watching in the parking lot. even late into the night. There is a liquor store directly next to the kroger that tends to have people just lounging in front quite often as well. This branch of kroger does close at 1 which is great if you need a late night purchase, just try not to go alone. The store itself has helpful employees and like any other kroger has nearly everything you could need. It always seems to be clean and well stocked. I will say that the produce section here is much smaller than most krogers and sometimes has not had things that I’ve been looking for(basil, tomatillos, limes. I guess not your everyday items?) I’ve also seen expired product on the shelves here so definitely check your dates. The wine selection is great and always stocked, like other kroger locations this location has great wine deals. This branch seems to be smaller than other locations with only one entrance to the entire store, and less check out lanes. They do have a self chef out with 4 computers. I personally recommend driving 3 – 5 miles out of the way to the kroger off Hammond Drive… It has a gas station, much larger produce selection, and feels much safer.

I usually liked to go to Kroger and spent a lot of money over years at Kroger. This Kroger would be very convenient for me and my wife after it’s on our way home. But actually this Kroger has the nick name scary Kroger! The staff is unfriendly and not helpful at all, vegetables and also meat products are often old and expired(so check the date), the selection for fresh or organic food is limited and after 7 pm it feels quite unsafe to be at the parking lot there. We had a lot of negative experience there and we will not go back. Luckily there are other good grocery stores like Trader Joes and Publix in this area.

This location is close to me, and thus I frequent it alot. I really dont like the look of this Krogers. This Kroger sits in a small shopping center. However after visting other Krogers in nicer areas, they need to update this Kroger. The employees are very friendly and I have never had a problem. The produce area is always being worked and is together and nice, the same with the meat dept and other areas of this store. I would have given this place 3 stars, but I am a huge fan of good customer service, and the employees makes the difference.

In Atlanta, it’s usually easier to tell Kroger stores apart by the nicknames their patrons have lovingly(or not-so-lovingly) given them than by their actual locations. Take, for instance, Ponce’s «Murder Kroger,» Monroe’s «Kro-Gay,» or Sage Hill’s «Kosher Kroger.» As far as I know, no one has given a fitting alias to this location yet, so I hereby nominate«Scary Kroger.» Located in a decent part of town(just off the Northridge exit on 400 in Roswell) and surrounded by several more savory Kroger Cousins, it might surprise you that simply pulling into this Kroger parking lot can raise a person’s blood pressure. And yet… I’ve given the place two stars because the store is usually fairly clean and well-stocked, and the folks who work there tend to be friendly(with the exception of one manager whom I’ve seen reprimanding employees in front of customers AND arguing with customers who correctly understood sales/coupons when she did not.) They have a particularly friendly gentleman who works in the produce section, and if your paths cross, he’ll make sure to offer to help you every single time. Here’s why I — and several of my neighbors — typically drive three miles out of our way to go to the next-closest supermarket: * There are two entrances to this place, and both are awkward turns that have no lights to help you * There is no fuel station here * 9⁄10 times you enter, you WILL encounter folks who hang out on the sidewalk all day and ask shoppers for money/cigarettes/etc., many of whom actually become belligerent when you don’t pony up some cash. More than once, I have seen panhandlers follow shoppers from the curb to their cars, saying things like«you just went shopping, I know you got some money on you» — it’s very uncomfortable, and I’m certain management must know about the situation and just doesn’t do anything to discourage the behavior.

This is the worst Kroger I have ever been in. The parking lot is disgusting, trash everywhere. The people who frequent this location are crude, walking around you hear people yelling into their phones, very vulgar and inappropriate conversations that should never occur in public. Management appears to be blind to the horrible conditions of the parking lot and the clientele who make shopping there undesirable.

Close to home. And my hubby who is from Louisiana has been craving boudin. To my surprise while grocery shopping I saw exactly what he was looking for I bought it and my hubby loves it. We searched any place we went in Atlanta to find some and it was here at a neighborhood grocery store. Thanks kroger. They have a bank inside too which is very convenient.

I love this Kroger. I agree with it being older but that’s not a reason to rate it badly. I prefer to use my WIC here than Publix. I’m 33 weeks pregnant and only if I ask for help I’ll get it, it’s never offered like at Publix.

I strongly suggest driving one mile north on Roswell Road to Publix. The store is dirty. The employees feel as though they are doing you a favor. How dare you walk into this store and expect any level of service – what do you want them to do, their jobs? Be prepared to be practically assaulted in the parking lot by bums, crackheads, and the next aspiring artist selling his CDs. By all means, don’t need anything near closing time, or even the end of someone’s shift or close to their break time. Because they have no problem letting you know that you are truly inconveniencing them. I believe this store serves as the last stop in the Kroger supply chain, as products near expiration they are shipped here. I don’t recall ever seeing anything fresh in this store – including the deli where food is advertised to be cooked daily. I wouldn’t say that this store is totally useless. It serves as a good landmark.

This Kroger is not one of the better ones in the area, in fact, I usually only stop in here if I only need a couple of things and don’t want to drive to our regular Kroger on Dunwoody Club Road. When we first moved to the area we went in here and I knew something was up when I saw a security guard standing n front of the door. So far in Atlanta, I have only seen that in retail establishments that were in rougher neighborhoods. The overall selection of products in the store is decent although I have been in several other Kroger’s that had better. The entire store has a cramped feel about it, like they were trying to put 10 pounds of stuff into a 5 pound bag:) Although the staff hasn’t been rude or anything when we have been in there, we did have one episode with the person behind the customer service counter when we tried to send some money via Western Union… to make a long story short… they don’t know how to send money and this person works back there all the time. After our second time we tried to send money from there, we decided it would be less painful to just go somewhere else. This particular Kroger is sort of like a convenience store, ok for something quick but not for regular shopping although we shop at other Kroger’s every week that are really nice so this isn’t an indictment of the entire company.

I shop here due to convience and price. I only get certain fruits from this particular Kroger. This one is very old and outdated and NEEDS A RENOVATION… ASAP! It looks like a junk shop!
