Le Bam Events & Design Studio

I parked in front of this place two hours after close and they booted my car! I had to pay $ 75 to get the boot off. The owner apparently drove by and saw people parked in front of her shop when it was closed and thought she needed to ruin the night of some innocent yogis coming out of class. Not right but it’s ok because I can move past this but that owner will always be miserable! Hear you steal sport coats anyways. Namaste!

i parked in front of this place after hours and they called a booting company and they booted my car. by the time i came out of yoga, the rest of the parking lot was empty (including cars that were parked under other venue parking spaces). i would never give them my business. petty move, le bam, petty move.

Went to a Coworker’s wedding and it was great. However my boyfriend left his $ 300 sport coat there and we tried reaching out to no avail. Left 2 – 3 voicemails, called half a dozen times, and sent several emails and got no response. So there goes $ 300 down the drain. NO HELP AT ALL! Will never come back to this place under any circumstances.

We used Le Bam for our Nonprofit fundraiser, and every aspect of working with Marina and the folks of Le Bam have been top notch.
They truly care for making your event special, and they are worth every cent and then some!

Where do I even begin…
I actually waited a year from my wedding last October to decide if I still wanted to post a review and I’ve really tried to think on this and decide whether I’m posting this out of anger or to help other people. While it definitely still upsets me to think about it, I mostly just want to save others from the same disappointment. This is the first instance in my life, that I’ve EVER felt strongly enough about something to write a review. First and foremost, the owners of Le Bam are absolutely, without a doubt, in the WRONG business. I’ve never been so blindsided, disappointed, completely shocked and utterly disgusted by the «job» someone was supposed to do.
The most upsetting part was that 6 weeks before my wedding…6 weeks… we were asked to meet at their new location in Buckhead after booking the original location in Midtown. We didn’t even know they had a new location. It’s just okay. Definitely not my style and I never would’ve booked it. Never. We were then told, completely nonchalantly, that we had to use the new venue instead of the one we booked originally. Just like that. No warning. They even tried to tell us that there was a small chance we may still be able to use the old venue. They’re saying this while I’m looking around and noticing everything including the bar has been moved into this space. It took weeks of trying to schedule a tasting, and then going in for the tasting, for them to just throw it into the conversation. And then respond with no apology, only to say, «all of our other couples have switched to this one.» Like we were out of line for being upset.
Well, you would think that once they’d done this to us, they would bend over backwards or at least step it up to try and make us happy. Oh no. It just went downhill from there.
1) We were supposed to have a photo booth ($ 700 supposed value) No photo booth. BUT, they graciously threw some masks and hats out on a table «just for a little extra something for us» he says. Hilarious.
2) My colors were shades of green and copper which Marina claimed she would (at no extra cost!) use linens in those shades and chair covers and she also even showed me the centerpieces she would use. There were NO chair covers, some of the linens were BLUE, and she used some other sad excuses for centerpieces that weren’t even close to the style of my wedding or what she’d shown me.
3) They promised to set up a Head Table for us to sit with our Bridesmaids and Groomsmen. Nope. Didn’t happen.
4) They promised. PROMISED, at least 4 times, to replace some decorations that I hated with moss and candles. This was very important to me, and of course, didn’t happen at all.
5) Marina took the top tier of our cake, put it in a box, and took it to the kitchen. Not only does the bakery she uses give you a whole new top tier on your anniversary (which of course Marina knew) but when I asked her how to get the tier she’d taken, her response was, «we don’t keep it unless you ask us too.» What? So why did she remove it and where did it go?
6) We ran out of food. Let me repeat. We RAN OUT of FOOD! All of our guests didn’t even get to eat. That’s about the most horrible thing that can happen at your wedding. This is after my mom reordered more at least twice the week before stating clearly that she wanted to order so much that there would be leftovers. AND, Marina reassured us many times that we had way more than enough. I’m quite sure she took ¹⁄₃ of our cake and most of our food home for her family and her mother that was in town.
7) She wouldn’t ever let me communicate with the DJ. He had to keep running out and interrupting our photo sessions and trying to find me to ask what our first dance song was, what was our introduction song, what are the names of the people in our wedding party. Apparently, Marina hadn’t given him names and had given him the wrong songs.
I could go on and on. You’ll read some fairly good reviews on these sites but it’s because they’re old and were from the original location when Kandice, whose unfortunately no longer there, was working for them at the time.
Bottom Line: They are lazy, procrastinating, unorganized, untrustworthy, uncaring, unaccountable liars. PLEASE trust me. Don’t waste your time and money here. Yes, we got the same outcome we wanted in that we’re married. And yes, most people didn’t notice all the mistakes. BUT it’s supposed to be one of your most important days and if you’re going to put so much time, effort, money and care into how it goes, you deserve to find people that will put in at least a tiny bit of the same. Especially, when that’s what they’re payed to do. Save yourself the heartache. It kills me to think they can keep getting away with this type of business practice. They should be so very ashamed of themselves. Please don’t fall for it like I did. And if for some reason you do, expect to also hire a professional wedding planner and possibly an attorney.

My fiancé and I toured the facility in looking for a place for our wedding. We quickly decided it wasn’t the place for us. Some thoughts:
–The facility is not bad if it’s your style. It seemed a bit cheezy for us, but we did like the upstairs lounge area.
–There are many nicer facilities that are cheaper. I honestly don’t see them staying in business at their current listed price point (unless they’re willing to negotiate 20% or more off their list prices). We’ve found several places we like more that we’ll be able to do everything included in their $ 25k for 150 people package for under $ 20k.
–They say they can hold up to 200, but when we went the dining area was set up with seating for 112 (14 tables of 8) and it was extremely cramped.
–The dance floor is basically in a stand alone area separated from everything else — didn’t like this.
–location just doesn’t have a particularly nice feel. It’s basically in a commercial strip mall.
–Walking in, my first impression was that we were walking into some tourist trap exhibit in a tourist town. Like a wax museum or something.

I had my «after wedding» party at Le Bam. Marina and her staff were awesome to work with. The space is beautiful. I love all of the little nooks and crannies and secret doors and fountains. I picked the most beautiful day in February so we were able to utilize the outdoor space too.
We were able to bring our own caterers and alcohol so that helped cut down on cost. Marina included all of the flower arrangements. She also supplied the bartender and security guard at the front so that there were no «wedding crashers».
My one complaint is that the parking sucks. Guests arent allowed to park in the actual lot that Le Bam is attached to and are forced to park at Ansley Mall. Which is fine. Unless you have your 77 year old Gramma coming to the party and your friend’s 5 year old crossing the intersection of Monroe and Piedmont.
After all is said and done– I would definitely have another event here.

I went to Le Bam over the weekend for a private event. Beauty and Bling 2010!!! I absolutely love this space. It was very different, eclectic and unexpected. It was like being in a fairytale storybook. They had separate rooms. and a garden. It is nice for smaller functions. i could see having a non traditional wedding there… Beautiful
