I’m writing this review to recommend Dr. Schapiro because she is AMAZING. I had 2 myomectomies and 3 weeks tomorrow a hysterectomy(robotic). Surgery was great, recovery with my myomectomies were great(I had no pain, maybe due to the pain meds) scarring is minimal. Recovery with my hysterectomy is UNBELIEVABLYAWESOME, surgery was on a Monday I came home on Tuesday I took pain meds that day and the next. I felt NOPAIN so I stopped the meds and have been recovering very well with NOPAIN, her techniques must be amazing because I came to the conclusion that it’s her skills and not meds that keep the pain minimal to NONE. Dr. Schapiro is very attentive and smart, she really take pride in what she do, your health is her main concern. I want every woman in the world to be her patient, my experiences with Dr. Schapiro has been nothing but pleasant. I LOVELOVELOVELOVELOVE Dr. Schapiro and her staff, Tamira Gibson is wonderful as well. Thanks ladies for ALWAYS taking EXCELLENT care of me! S. MASON

Office is old and not super clean. Staff not very friendly. Lots of wait time in between labs and doctor. No one guided me where to go or what to do She was competent when seeing me after my baby birth but didn’t get my name correct and forgot to submit my prescription

Finally! I get to go back to my «real» OB-GYN, instead of Planned Parenthood. Having insurance or being able to afford self-pay is a great thing! I started seeing Dr. Schapiro about 8 years ago but it’s been a couple since I’ve been able to go, due to the aforementioned reasons. She’s lovely, as is Dr Dozier. Well, today has been a mixed bag. I made this appointment almost three months ago(one ding because it takes that long to get in) and updated all my contact info since it had been awhile. I called Monday to confirm the time for today. Yep, the lady told me 12:20 Friday with Dr. Dozier. Cool. Not my favorite thing to do on a Friday, but necessary. So I look them up to make sure I go to the right suite… and after going to their old office have to trudge around Piedmont Hospital parking lots trying to find the right building. In the damn heat. And a nice dress, and on a good hair day. Finally, I arrive at the correct suite thanks to help from two very nice random hospital employees. Only to be told that Dr Dozier isn’t here and they’ve been«trying to contact me» but didn’t have the right info. What!!!(second ding, for sure) I was a little mad, to say the least. After talking myself off the ledge — I do not have time to reschedule this in 2 – 3 more months and need bcp, people!!- they figured out a way to «work me in» with Dr Schapiro. Gee, thanks, since I was supposed to have an appointment– that I confirmed! All that aside, they run a nice practice and are kind and listen well, for whatever your needs, whether on the non-kid(me) or kid side of the equation. Crisis averted, needs met.
