O.k. Longhorns is to being a great disappointment. Drew and I almost, almost dined in the hamburger restaurant next to Longhorns on Cobb. I wished we had. Our visit was Jan. 30, 2016 around 5 pm. One star== and not a very shiny one at that. Kevin was our server(using the word«server» loosely). We received 3 slices of bread… not like a whole loaf or even a half loaf as my fellow patrons received. And, two whole slices(sarcasm) at the very end of the meal. A bright side of our disappearing server, Tonya stepped in(Thanks, Tonya! and did a terrific job in filling our waters and getting us steak sauce which brings me to my complaint. The food. One star –again…a dim star. I ordered an Outlaw rib eye medium well. The outside was burnt and tough. The inside was dry. It seems like the cook(loose term here, as well) mashed out on the steak while it was on the grill and destroyed every bit of juices that was contained. I wanted another Heineken to washed down the steak but couldn’t find my server. {sigh} A good steak should NEVER need sauce. However, I was trying to save the meal. Lost cause. The best part of the meal were the salads which arrived rather late and the baked potato. I will never be a patron at this Longhorn’s again. Never.

The service starts out really good we had a wait time because it was a party of 9 and it was after a graduation ceremony and basically the entire university was there but my food was amazing I had a redrocket shrimp thing I don’t really remember the full name but it was grilled shrimp kabobs over rice with a loaded baked potato and it was pretty good and I had a blackberry sweet tea which was über amazing but the reason I’m giving it one star was due to what happen after the meal once we got our checks ours food(five of us on one ticket) came up to 134 and some change I’m not sure how much was given to our waiter but he came back with $ 11 and said to my dad was my service not good and he said yea it was great and he says well sir you didn’t even tip my 15%. How rude of you to come to a table and ask for more money they’re were four other checks beside ours and you’re going to say I’m not happy with what you gave I deserve more. Um sir I could of given you nothing and you would of had to take it. You just ruined our dining experience because you could of been a real man and pulled my dad to the side if you weren’t happy or you could of cared more about your job and said nothing because it was just one tip out of the many I’m sure you got that day. So all in all if I ever do decide to go back to this establishment I will make very sure that you Reginald/Reggie will not be waiter due to your rudeness

I was a customer 3 times a week… for your baked potato soup. I called for a to go order, and was told it had been taken off the menu. I am was very sad, for my stomach conditions improved while eating your soup. I did however find a copycat recipe on the web that is just as good, and cost a lot less. See what happens when you change menus, and policy’s? You loose loyal customers.

No real call ahead reservations but they took our name and we sat inside 10 minutes with a 30 minute wait. Very crowded at 7:30. Food good but a bit spicy. Out of Prime Rib at 7:30 pretty bad. Service good by Quinton. Food good appetizers very good and different. Portions good so we have lunch tomorrow too

Wow. This place is horrible for customer service. Our company, had spent $ 1700.00 in 3 weeks time, celebrating 3 different achievements at work. Everyone wanted steak. So we chose this establishment. The last dinner we had at work, we were short 5 steaks, and tried to resolve it. The night manager said to come out, they were putting them on the grill. When we got there, the manager said the day manager said the order was right, and we would not get compensated. I put the situation on Twitter, and got a response from the site, and they said the operation manager would get back in touch with us. No one followed up with us, no customer service at all. No more food from here.

Sunday afternoon and expecting a nice steak n frites turned into a 2 hr. Epic Failure and left hungry and disgusted with the lack of service, poorly staffed, uncleanliness and over cooked steak! This was truly bad experience and –1 star!

My girlfriend and I came here for dinner after a long days work, and we really had a great dinner. Our server Averette was outstanding and our food was great. This is by ft the best longhorn I’ve ever been too. Ask for Averrette when you get in, he will take good care of you! Best server I’ve had in a while.

Arrived solo during the lunch hours. It was busy. I got a seat. Ordered a sliced prime sandwich with broccoli as my side. Broccoli is good, but what isn’t with a little butter and salt. Sandwich was decent. Precooked and probably frozen, had the precooked taste meat taste. I mean it’s a franchise, not as special as it could be. But great considering its a franchise.

Came here Sun 8÷16÷15. Around 7:30pm. Wait time 20min. Ordered something with shrimp, rice and a side. Was great. I got the corn on the cobb instead of salad, it was amazing. $ 20. They gave me about 12 shrimp or so. Then we went to Straight Outta Compton. Dope movie…

Decided to come here for s date night because my husband has never been here, even though I used to work here for a few years back in college, I was really happy to see that they’ve added an appetizer sampler to the menu as I couldn’t decide between Wildwest shrimp and the firecracker chicken wraps which both happen to be on the sampler. It would’ve been nice to have had a little bit more shrimp and less lettuce, the presentation is somewhat deceiving as it’s a bowlful of lettuce just a handful of friends on top. When I used to work for Longhorn when somebody ordered the wild with shrimp I came on a large plate full of shrimp. Maybe times are tougher. I didn’t have my Id, and I know that it’s the policy to card everybody, but my husband did have his and she still wouldn’t serve a drink. I’m glad they’re responsible servers, but I wanted that drink. The only slip up with the meal came with the soup, my husband got the tortilla soup and it didn’t have the tortillas sour cream or avocado if it says in the video. We told our server and it was quickly corrected. We both ordered prime rib and it was delicious, I order medium rare and he gets medium and both of ours are cooked to perfection. The corn on the cob is a new side item and I absolutely recommend it! it’s repaired perfectly with lots of flavor. Overall it was a fantastic meal, and the service was good. We got there at around 530 so we didn’t have to wait in the long lines other reviewers were talking about. I would definitely recommend this location.

Called in for takeout service at 8:30 pm. Not really feeling too good, but needed to eat. Ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken, mashed potatoes and broccoli, about $ 17.00. Very generous portion of chicken, and pretty tasty, mashed potatoes were good and broccoli was not soggy. Why only two stars? Because were were told 20 minutes on the phone, we waited 30 minutes to leave our hotel and waited at the bar for 20 minutes. We paid with $ 100.00 bill, and it took another almost 10 minutes to get our change. I’m willing to try it again next time I’m in Atlanta, but not on a weekend… too slow, too disorganized.

Arrived here around 8:30 on a Tuesday night and had a 15 minute wait– not more than 15 – 20 diners in the place. Table had to be cleaned when we were seated. Bone-in monster ribeye had a small oval bone like a sirloin– very odd. Chopped steak was covered in wilted fried onions past their prime. Caesar salad lacked dressing or very much taste. Sad to say this was once one of my brother’s favorite eating spots. Doubt if we will try it again.

Nice bubbling joint. Wait time on Friday was about 45mins. That must mean something. Everything was great, service and the food. We left totally stuffed on the steak for 2.

I can’t actually tell you how the food or service was because I never received either. I came in and sat at a table near the bar. I sat for nearly 15 minutes and no one ever spoke to me or offered me a menu. I finally left and I won’t return.

Not normally a chain guy but. clean, great bartenders, good quality food cooked right and consistent. Especially after a fun day on conference calls with… well let’s just say challenged people. I came, I saw, I gorged on red meat. What is that in Latin? Veni, vedi, bovin?

Upscale for one of these joints. Nice interior, good tables and booths, with that upscale friends are kind of feeling. I would rate it higher but they push the envelope on pricing. I also had a bad steak there. They gave me food poisoning. It was a ribeye steak, that seem to be cooked properly, so I suspect something was wrong in the process before hand. And when I told the manager, I got the Lassie look. This matches up with my previous experience there when our service was really sloppy but the manager seem not to care when I talked to him about that. I try not to talk to managers, because I don’t like when people spit in my food. I’m not saying they spit in my food, because I don’t go there often enough for them to go «hey there’s a guy who we need to spit in his food». So I guess that’s why I don’t go there very often. And I eat out a lot and I like steaks a lot.

I stopped by here to simply get a gift card… but this simple run kind of made it awkward for me. I came in and told the hostess that I need a gift card. The hostess couldve cared less as she quickly dismissed me and pointed me to «that guy over there» that was clearly very busy. I had to awkwardly fight my way to the bartender so I can finally get my gift card … the most annoying part of this is that after they print out the receipt for the gift card, there is still that section to «tip.» I know all receipts print that out, but hey, I still find it irritating. Hopefully, next time, when people come to purchase a gift card, don’t make them fight for the bartender’s attention. Please call a manager and handle your business better.

This used to be our favorite neighborhood spot but the service has declined. I first noticed the decline in service when they moved to the new location and it’s gotten progressively worse. Because of the turnover in staff, I’m willing to bet its a management issue. Now that I’ve gotten that our of the way, the food is always good. My new favorite is the chicken avocado sandwich. The lunch special(half sandwich and soup or salad) is the perfect portion.

So my mom and I went here Saturday night on a whim. This is a new location in the same plaza so it is nicer and more open on the inside. The old location was very cramped. My mother wasn’t really hungry and ordered the chicken roll thingies… I can’t remember the name of them. I wanted the lobster mac and cheese but not the steak that went with it. I was advised that if I wanted it like that it was $ 15 by itself. The whole meal was $ 23. Sheesh I will never pay that much in a chain steakhouse… well Longhorn anyway. So Anthony, our server, suggested getting just the regular mac and cheese that he said was similar to the lobster mac and cheese(I think he missed the fact that I wanted the lobster…) and one of the steaks a la carte. That did come out at a better pricing of $ 11 versus $ 23. My steak was pretty good but since it was so late at night I couldn’t eat all of it. The mac and cheese was hella salty! Maybe it was because of the ham? I am not a fan of pork in mac and cheese. At all. Maybe I’ll come back and just get my regular sweet potato with cinnamon butter. No mac and cheese. #Yelp100

So, lately I’ve been coming to this place and eating at the bar. Apparently you get better service at the bar. I’m talking about being acknowledged in less than a minute after you sit down and your order taken after you’ve looked at the menu for at least 5 minutes, food brought out promptly, piping hot bread, and frequent face time with your bartender. Face time= how is everything? Anything else I can get you? How about another drink? Still doing okay? This is where I seat myself if I’m craving a steak. I would still be weary on getting a table though.
