History

Established in 1978.

The gardens and designs created by Marcia Weber and her team are born from a philosophy that is reflected in the firms name. Marcia explains: «Our designs are collaborative efforts with the owners and their thoughts. Each owner has a vision of a perfect garden. We develop and interpret that vision; emphasizing value, while creating beautiful and refreshing outdoor spaces.» Gardens to Love designs and maintains landscapes that use form, mass, color and light in new and exciting ways. We bring classic design to contemporary and traditional landscapes. Working with owners to create fresh, sustainable gardens is what Gardens to Love is all about.

Meet the Business Owner

Marcai W.

Business Owner

Raised on a farm in Noxubee County, Mississippi, Marcia Weber has had dirt under her fingernails from the age of five, when she discovered the magic of seeds.

Like a seed, her passion blossomed into a B.S. of Horticulture from Mississippi State University, and in 1979, Marcia founded her company, Gardens to Love in Atlanta.

Marcia has made a lifelong career of creating and enhancing landscapes, both large and small.

Today, Marcia leads a talented team to create, install and upkeep gardens throughout the Southeast.

Marcia is often influenced and inspired by her wide-ranging travels, but the gardens she builds are always attuned to local, indigenous ecology. «The gardens we create can be classical or contemporary, but they must reflect their surrounding environments, topography and climate,» Weber explains. Marcia maintains her personal gardens in Ansley Park in Atlanta; Highlands, North Carolina and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
