This place has the best cheeseburgers and onion rings. Plenty to choose from on the menu at low prices

I’m not 100% sure why they have 4 stars. I’ve eaten here a handful of times over the years and have not been impressed. I will say their service is excellent and the pricing is great. However, the food quality is way below average. I had the Western Omelette and a cup of coffee this AM. The Omelette I didn’t even eat half of. The taste was way off what I expected and it might have been the house hot sauce(which is horrible and not spicy). The egg just didn’t taste right. My coffee was as bad as the office Flavia coffee, and also something I couldn’t finish. They were also out of the Vanilla Coffee I wanted. This isn’t a place I’ll eat at on my own.

Best quick food downtown. The staff and owners are always nice and welcome you with a smile.

A little hungry we were looking for a quick bite to eat. And yes, I know, probably it’s a very safe area, but at first glance, not a neigbourhood we’re very fond off. And believe me, we drew attention being tall European tourists. I don’t like that kind of attention. So quick decision: first joint at the outskirts would do. That was Michael’s. And we were not dissappointed. Oke food, especially compared to the price. Most egg dishes and sandwiches. All prepared to order. Few remarks: it’s a terribly establishment with no atmopshere what so ever. But it serves it purpose. Most of the employees spoke worse English than we do and they don’t provide proper dishes and cutlery. All plastic. Even when you’re dining in. And excuse any grammar and spelling mistakes. English is not my first language. And if that isn’t bad enough, my Apple device keeps changing words into ‘proper Dutch’. Yes, you’ve guessed right, my first language.

Couldnt find the door. Their potato and cheese soup is melted velveeta with chunks of potato(hmmmm…gross). I had a sandwich that was decent but it was only because the first 2 things I ordered they didnt have. Not super impressed.

If you work near downtown Atlanta, this little spot is quite convenient. It’s also much less shady than some of the options downtown! I can’t say I loved or hated the place. The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t amazing either. Typical diner fair in many ways. One downside is that it closes early, so if you’re searching for food in the late afternoon or evening, you’ll have to look elsewhere. The staff was friendly, though you might want to order ahead if you’re needing a short lunch. On the flip side, it’s nice that they make your order fresh, rather than everything being completely precooked.

The fried chicken salad is awesome. They use all fresh ingredients! Bananas peppers give it just the right tang!

I just started working in this area, and even though I go to school at GSU, I never knew of this place. It is a small place with about 12 tables. The people who work there are, I believe, a Asian family and black woman. They do speak English but the black woman is the one who will take your order. I must say I love this place. Ive gone about three times and the first time I got a Philly Cheesesteak combo.(sandwich fries and drink) I was shocked when they actually brought out fresh beef and cooked it on the grill. God knows places dont have fresh ingredients anymore. Sandwich was great and they really dont skimp on the meat. ALL the food is served hot to order and the combo cost about $ 6.50. Well worth it. If I had to pick a problem with Michael’s, it may be that the tv there is really small with rabbit ears. But honestly its almost a positive for the atmosphere of the place. Small, family owned lunch stop. I like this place alot!

Michael’s Café is a downtown mom-and-pop operation serving up breakfast and lunch, Monday through Friday. None of the food is all that great, but it’s cheap and convenient, and there’s quite a varied menu from which to make your selection. Service is friendly and efficient, and although this kind of a place is designed for take-out, there’s enough seating for about two dozen customers or so. I’ve had the shrimp po-boy and the chicken salad sandwich here. They’re both edible. The shrimp in the po-boy isn’t freshly fried, but at least it’s reheated on the grill after you place your order. How much more can you ask for from a place like this? And the chicken salad isn’t as good as the stuff at Reuben’s, but, hey, Reuben’s is far: Google Maps says that it’s 0.2 miles away.(Caution: Walking directions are in beta.) When you enter the building at 75 Marietta Street, Michael’s is through another set of glass doors to your right.

Michael’s…it’s right across from where I work. It’s a great place for yummy sandwiches, chips, drinks, and the ever prominent tv playing trashy court shows. It tastes so good, and it’s cheap.

While I was waiting for my brother(in the dentist office across from the café). I order the grilled chicken breakfast special, it includes 1 tasty grilled chicken, two slices of toast, girts & scramble eggs. all for $ 5.07 Can I say tasty? The staff was very nice and willing to accommodate your every need. also the food was hot and cooked to perfection.

I had a pretty tasty gyro from Michael’s today for lunch – a warm disc of bread folded up with a lamb/beef mixture, shredded lettuce, tomato, red onion and gyro sauce. I also had a glass of iced sweet tea, bringing my total to $ 6. Had I gotten in on the combo meal action, adding chips or fries to my order, it would have been $ 6.75. All the staff carried a pleasant demeanor as well – the woman taking orders and both the cashiers. I’m telling you, that goes a long way.

It’s a small, mom ‘n pop food place facing Marietta. Nothing special about the place, but the people are friendly and you generally get good food. I would recommend the spaghetti salad when available(very tasty). Something to go instead of McYuck for breakfast and lunch(if you are willing to take a hit on the calories).
