A gem of a store!!! But where did it go??? After years of shopping here and getting some of the best shoes in my closet, I popped in today only to find they had combined the clothing store and shoe store into one tiny space. My heart is bleeding! Please bring back just the shoe store. It was like walking into old Hollywood — an experience not to be combined!!!

Great little shoe, handbag, and jewelry boutique in VaHi. I don’t ever get shoes here, but I love to look at all the latest, greatest funky styles they have. The handbags are always super cute and they have fabulous jewelry. They carry Me & Ro, my fave jewelry designer. They also carry some local designer’s jewelry as well. I have found some great gifts in here for friends and always wind up buying something for myself as well. Another plus is that they never say anything to me when I bring my great dane in there.

I love shoes and I love purses. Mitzi’s Shoe Box is one of my favorite spots for finding both, with a small but well-selected array of the«known» and the«unknown» brands of both! You’ll see shoe designs from Kate Spade, Charles David, Calvin Klein and more, as well as good boot selections in the winter and Havaianas in the spring and summer. For purses, you’ll find unique labels like Bulga(the silver bag I lusted after and finally got as a Christmas present ALWAYS gets raves!) as well as an array of Kooba, Hobo and more you’ll definitely recognize. The Shoe Box also has a steady supply of clever jewels and accessories like belts and wallets. While you’re in the neighborhood, check out MIII a couple doors down where the best sales can be found, and Mitzi & Romano, the original boutique. You’ll find too much stuff to love!

Mitzi’s Shoe Box is an adorable little shop in the Virginia Highlands area of Atlanta. I strolled in there one day when I first moved to Atlanta, after having brunch at Murphy’s. Although the store is small, it has a decent selection. And it is primarily a shoe shop, but you can also find accessories — handbags, jewelry, luggage tags among other little odds and ends… And it seems like every time I have gone in to the shop, they are having some great deals/sales going on. We just had our Hello Stiletto shoe party there last week and the sales were excellent. I got a pair of Seychelles heels for only $ 40! Needless to say, I was pleased :)(By the way, a couple of doors down you can also find Mitzi and Romano, a sister store that carries clothing and accessories and they have a third shop too that has men’s items as well).
