Business Owner

Michelle Harrison started My Dreamz Eventz in 2004, after having spent the preceding five years as a wedding & social event planner and freelance corporate events operations manager.

A southern-​California native, Michelle completed her education at Clark Atlanta University, receiving, with honors, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Marketing. Over the course of her college career, Michelle planned and operated a series of annual events for the Central California Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, as well as a host of smaller events for friends and family. She also worked as a wardrobe stylist for a well-​known Los Angeles-​based agency specializing in print media, album covers, music videos, and television sitcoms.

Both pre and post-​graduate, she gained invaluable experience as a member of the management teams at two of Atlanta’s premier eateries — Dailey’s Restaurant and the world-​famous Sylvia’s Restaurant. During her tenure at Sylvia’s, she and fellow members of th
