Nice friendly, the store selection was ok. They didn’t have very many short selves shirts in small. They do returns for online clothing. Yes, the floor is stained but it’s an older mall.

I have given this store one star simply because the staff are very friendly. If I was just rating the store I would give zero stars. I love the clothes but the state of the store is horrendous. The dressing rooms carry an odor due to the stained and very old carpet. I have written the corporate office in reference to the state of the store and never heard anything back. I have spoken to the staff in reference to the store and they have asked i write to the corporate office. They too agree that the store is an embarrassment to the company. I would recommend finding another NY and Company to visit.

I trek to this disgusting mall every once in a while because love New York & Company’s clothing(and I *love* Kohls. But that’s another story.) I find their sizes run very differently between styles– both tops and bottoms– so I prefer to buy things in-store rather than online. Firstly, I find it very odd that NY&C’s website does not show this location at the correct address/location. The Northlake Mall location is shown near Peachtree and Pharr which is not even close to the real location of the store. I get the almost-daily e-mails from NY&C and a very intriguing one popped into my inbox: $ 50 off any $ 100 purchase, Friday & Saturday only. That’s a pretty sweet deal! So I made it a point to head to the store on Saturday. I shopped for nearly 2 hours and tried on all sorts of clothing. So many things were on sale that I was having a hard time getting my total to add up to $ 100! That’s the good news. The dressing rooms here are pretty dirty. There is visible dirt(mold?) on the carpets in each dressing room. Unfortunately there’s also no table or chair to place your things or non-hangered items on, so they end up on the dirty floor. Service was really lacking. I was at times really struggling to carry lots of items as I shopped through the store, but none of the sales associates offered to start a dressing room or anything. No one ever came in to check on me in the dressing room. There were many times when I could have used another size, but no one ever came around to ask. Instead I had to get dressed again and grab it for myself. When I went to check out, I told the salesperson about the e-mail. She asked if I had it, and I said I had it on my iPhone. Since the store is underground there is no cell service, all I could get was the subject line and the first few non-graphics lines of text to load. She would still not accept this for the coupon. I didn’t really understand the logic since I obviously had received the e-mail. They wanted me to get out of line, go outside the store, load the e-mail, and come back. I thought that was really rude. At GAP all you have to do is mention the e-mail and they are cool with it. While I was standing at the check-out counter, the employees kept talking about how they couldn’t wait to get off shift. It was bothering me since there was a line of customers that they weren’t helping during their gab session of post-work activities. Will I return? Well, I have to. There are very few other NY&C locations that are easily accessible from my ITP home. I’m not a fan though; I wish there were other/more locations.
