The staff is awesome! Management needs help. The owner needs to be taken over. Definitely a first time restaurant owner.

I have been to this place on two separate occasions. Granted, I got there around 12:00 in the afternoon so I wasn’t expecting it to be crowded… but this place was a ghost town. The first time I was there I ordered a salad and lasagne. Probably my mistake, lasagne being a complicated dish and all. I received salad with my ranch dressing after a looooong wait, but the dressing tasting like it was from one of those sour packets of fat-free ranch, opened and squeezed into a cup. I couldn’t even finish it so I moved on to the second part of my meal. I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say that I must’ve missed the fact that the lasagne included sausage(somewhere) on the menu. I have not eaten sausage since«the incident» July 4th, 1997, and most certainly would not have ordered it if I knew there was sausage in it. I got one soda and no refill, because the waitresses were too busy gabbing at the front. All of that aside, I decided to give them a second chance and order something else from their menu. I desperately wanted this restaurant to be good because it’s a stones throw from my work. NOPE. How do you mess up chicken fingers? They were rock hard and slimy on the inside. I forgot about my previous salad incident and ordered another that I also wasn’t able to eat. I got a refill that time but it took almost 45 minutes for either dish to come out. My goodness.

I’ve been to Olde Towne Tavern(Tavern 360?) on three separate occasions and each time it gets worse and worse– specifically the service and atmosphere get worse and worse. The set up of the restaurant is fine and dandy– large indoor bar area, dining room with pool tables, booths, and fireplaces, and a great outside patio perfect for large groups. There is a large range in basic American food from wings to pizza to salads to burgers. A group of 6 of my friends went about two weeks after it opened on a Friday night. The restaurant was buzzing, the service and food were fairly good, and the large outside patio was a win. Several months later with a half off coupon in my hand, I returned with three friends on a Thursday. The restaurant was essentially empty and service was shockingly slow. To wait 40 minutes for mediocre bar food is not something I’m trying to do ever. The waitress was hardly apologetic for our long wait and she continued to forget our requests. For example, we asked for a to-go box. After waiting 10 minutes for our waitress to return, I just walked over to the cabinet and got one myself. When she finally came back, she still didn’t have a to-go box with her. On my most recent trip, a friend and I walked over after we realized we had about 45 minutes left on a near-by parking meter. We sat at the bar. Again, we waited and waited. We ordered some drinks, meanwhile a man walks up and asks if he can take a picture of us for the restaurants website. He continued to take pictures of our drinks, of us drinking our drinks, etc for the next 45 minutes. It was just annoying. We kept hearing the manager(I assume) flying around the restaurant yelling«where are my servers». Clearly disappearing servers is an issue at Olde Towne… maybe they have a portal to Narnia in the kitchen? Unless you have a huge group and need that large patio space, I wouldn’t recommend Olde Towne.

I do enjoy a good burger. This place does burgers right! There was a band playing and they were adorable. The server sat us right in front of them, but I didn’t mind actually. The restaurant was empty but the bar was busy. Therefore, food was speedy but the drinks took forever. Not to mention, they ran out of 3 beers that were on the bar menu??? Football season is upon us, and this sport’s bar is perfect. The patio area has a huge projector screen and loud speakers to broadcast any game this season. There are T. V’s inside as well and a popular bar to rub elbows with other fans.

Woof. I worked(for like six years!) at the original OTT in Kennesaw, and I’m really starting to wonder what the hell happened to the owner and his business acumen. Olde Towne is, at its core, a sports bar that caters to upper middle class men looking for decent food and an escape from their wives and families after work or during televised sports events. This Buckhead location is nothing like that. First of all, whoa, are there male servers? That’s new. And the building itself is ENORMOUS. Way too big for a bar. Bars rely, in part, on the feeling that things are happening there. In a place with so much space, you can easily see things are not happening. Things are not happening at all. Our server was new, but even then, she delivered a performance so clumsy and forgetful, it was hard to justify the 20 percent tip I left – ordinarily at Olde Towne, I’ll drop at least 50 percent on the servers, just out of solidarity, or whatever. And even the drink specials are not cheap, upping the douche-quotient while simultaneously destroying its after-work appeal. That said, OT does have the best wings, like, ever. Try ordering them the way the servers do: with hot and lemon pepper sauces mixed together, or hot-bbq, or hot-teriyaki. And if you’re craving carbs, get the garlic knots with a side of queso. Trust me. This location has its faults, but I will say, the food at Olde Towne will surprise you.

Honestly, this place started off as awesome for me and then ended with disappointment. I’m the Duchess of this place right now and really wish someone would hurry up and take it away from me. Parking is available in the parking garage behind the restaurant — you don’t have to park on the street or use their valet. Just make sure you park in an unmarked spot since the garage is shared with the apartment building above. On my first visit I came with my boyfriend to listen to music performed at the open mic for some entertainment during dinner. We were seated right away inside the dining room area next to the open mic setup. The waitress, a friendly blonde woman, came over immediately to take our drink order. We both ordered draft beer(pretty much can’t be messed up, right?) and when it was time to order food, I asked the waitress what her favorite thing on the menu was. She told me it was the Black & Blue Burger — freshly made beef patty with blue cheese and bacon. Yes, please! We ordered potato skins and that burger to share. The potato skins were average and the burger was incredible. I don’t eat beef often, so for me to say it was incredible really means a lot. Over the course of the evening as we listened to the performers, the waitress was attentive and continued to check in to see if we wanted any more drinks. Their Black & Blue(Guinness and Blue Moon) beer combination was pretty awesome! We were both impressed and ended up coming back numerous times. If I had reviewed then, I would have given 4 stars, but that’s no longer the case. I agree with many of the other reviewers about the slow service, although several times I had the same waitress as my first visit and she was always friendly and attentive. Any other waitresses we dealt with really didn’t seem to have it together or care about their customers. The food quality started to deteriorate for me and my occasional burger just wasn’t as good or flavorful as the first one I enjoyed so much. Also, the BIGGEST thing that discounts this restaurant for me was getting sick from drinking draft beer this spring. When that happens, I tend to avoid a venue forever. If they don’t have good cleaning methods when it comes the bar, I expect the kitchen is just as bad if not worse. There are SO many American-style restaurants that are NOT chains in Atlanta. I don’t recommend wasting your time and money at this one.

My feelings on Olde Towne? Meh. I could take it or leave it. We didn’t have trouble securing a parking spot, but they only have metered spots along the street outside. The restaurant space is nice enough: wooden furnishings, an imitation«old world» style, a few cozy booths mixed in with tables. They have a great outdoor patio space for groups. My major problem was with the speed of service. Or lack thereof. We dropped in on a Thursday evening as a party of four. There was only one other table in the dining room, and a few patrons at the bar. Needless to say, we waited about 30 – 40 minutes for our entrees. I wasn’t too peeved because I happened to have some coupons(two for one entrees). Had I been paying full price I may have had a different attitude. The food was pretty good… on par with TGIFriday’s or a similar chain grill. Sans coupon? It’s not really worth it.

Oh my goodness… I totally agree with what most of the previous reviewers have said about the service here! The slowest service I had experienced in a while! Three of my co-workers and I decided to come here for lunch a little after 1 pm on a Thursday. It’s walking-distance from work, so I’m not sure what the parking situation is here. When we arrived, there were a few tables of customers seated outside in the shaded patio area, and maybe two or three tables occupied inside. Most of the restaurant was empty. Bottom line: they weren’t very busy. Since my co-workers had been here previously and had mentioned their service was really slow the last time, we thought it may be a good idea to sit towards the back of the restaurant, close to the kitchen. Boy, were we wrong… My co-workers ordered salads, and I got an order of ten«Jumbo Fresh Fried» Lemon Pepper chicken wings. Then, we waited… …and waited… …and watched the random sports that were playing on their many flat screens up on the walls. About 30 minutes later, we finally got our food. * Lemon Pepper Wings w/Steak Fries($ 8.99) — First of all, I didn’t think these were necessarily«jumbo» sized wings as the menu claimed. They weren’t small(like some of my favorite chicken wings are), but they weren’t Taco Mac size, either. The wings were pretty much what I think average-sized wings should be. I was pleasantly surprised, however, at how delicious they were! The lemon pepper flavor was just right. Although it’s nice that the wings are served with your choice of celery and carrots OR steak fries, the portion of fries was so small. There were maybe 12 fries total! =P Three different servers had taken our order, served our food, and then brought us our checks. Although each of them seemed like pleasant people, they neglected our table and didn’t come by to ask how we were doing throughout our meal. As we were finishing up, we had to flag someone down to ask for our checks. Once we finished eating, it took another 20+ minutes for us to pay. It was seriously ridiculous how terrible the service was. Overall, this Olde Towne Tavern & Grille gets 3 stars for their delicious wings — but that’s pretty much it. Again, service was SUPER slow, and what should have been — at most — an hour-long lunch turned into an hour and a half. Unacceptable. This restaurant has SUCH potential to be great, but they need to get their stuff together if they don’t want to lose customers. I may give them another shot but if the service remains as slow and nonexistent as it was during my first visit, I won’t return. P. S. They have a frequent buyer card, but you have to ask for one! I only knew about it because two of my co-workers had it. [Review 183 of 366]

Wanted to stop for a drink with the wife after dinner and see if we could catch the end of game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals. We drove by and saw Olde Towne Tavern with their patio open and a projection screen playing the game, sounds like a perfect fit right? Not so much. We walk up to to hostess table and ask if we can be seated on the patio to watch the game, she quickly informs me that they are«no longer seating any more customers» I look around and see there are plenty of open tables, also plenty of open tables that have not been bussed so I ask why aren’t you seating any more people? «Our owner says we can’t take any more in tonight» At this point I am getting a little aggitated and start to look around, did it look like service was behind? Sure, so I asked can we just grab our own drinks from the bar? «No» was the reply, as this happens what I believe to be the owner comes up and asks one of the waiters to place the chalkboard outside the front door to let others know they are not seating any more people, this person then goes back to his seat at the pub tables with a large group of others and precedes to watch the rest of the 3rd quarter. The Rhodes scholar waiter then locks the front door behind him when he comes back in, so if there was a cook on duty actually doing something and caused a fire all 75 people would have met a nice surprise when trying to exit from the main entrance.
Now this all happens within a 5 minute time span so I get a chance to look around, while there are plenty of tv’s and all are playing the game, which is what I was looking for, for this place to be called Olde Towne Tavern and an emphasis on an old English Pub it has as much Olde English charm as Missy Elliot after eating a grande meal at Taco Bell. I would like to come back and try the food and grab a beer but in this economy there are more than enough sports bars and English Pubs that want my business in Buckhead that I wont bother to ever stop here again.

okay, so i’ve been here a couple of times due to convinience on it’s location. however, service here sucks!!!(TERRIBLY) the first time i came, i waited 1 hour for my food. yes, it was a busy night. i gave it a second try, and it was even worse!!! this time, it wasn’t even busy. people who sat after us, got their food before us… they said it was because they were catering for a party on the patio… what an irrelevant excuse. after several complaints to the manager, NOTHINGWASDONE. only coming here for drinks at the bar or to freeload off the patio tv from now on.

I will never return to this place unless I have been kidnapped and forced to come back. The place barely had anyone in it so I was sure that I would have fast friendly attentive service and that was not the case. Everything took time. I was there about 10 minutes before anyone asked me what I wanted. The waitress only have way took my order. I had to stop her from leaving before I could tell her what my side would be. The item I ordered came with a side but didn’t have a traditional side so she should have asked me. My food came back unfinished. I ordered crab cakes and I have had better crab cakes from the grocery store. My fries did not come with any sauce. There were no tatar sauce for the crab cakes. I asked a waitress that was not mine for hot sauce and tatar sauce and she did not bring it. She was not even serving any body the whole time I was there. The food took about 30 minutes to come out and it was not fully prepared. The table next to me had the same problem. They were complaining that they got salads without any dressing. The food was bad and the service was horrible. I am staying away from here.

Loved the Hot Teriyaki and Hot Jalapeño wings. Patio was way understaffed tonight(Saturday). Incredibly slow service. Probably be back for wings again, but hoping for better service next time.

I hope ours was an isolated experience. 1 — Atmosphere: nice patio, attractive, clean. Standard«nice pub» décor. 2 — Servicer: our hostess/waitress was pleasant and friendly 3 — Food: Appropriately prepared — nothing to rage about, nothing to complain about. except as noted below. Now… 4 — Service: it took FOREVER to get our food. We had a party of 6, and we we waited a good 40 minutes for our food. We were there for an hour and a half when we should have been in and out in under an hour. We were the ONLY people in the restaurant… can’t say the kitchen was slammed or backed up. 5 — Value: The salads are very large — you will get your money’s worth for the whole order. However, one person ordered a half. According to the menu, if you order a half, deduct $ 2 off the whole salad price. What she got was the size of a side salad, with no chicken(the whole came with grilled chicken). When she asked, she was told that the half doesn’t come with chicken… funny, but that isn’t mentioned on the menu anywhere. At this point, we’d waited so long for our food, we didn’t have time to wait for chicken. When the bill came, she was charged $ 7.50 for what amounted to a side salad. Umm — no. Pricci can charge $ 7.50 for a side salad, OT cannot. To their credit, when I protested, the manager adjusted the bill to charge the same as a side salad, which was a more appropriate. If I’m in the area and hungry, I might stop by and give it another chance, but I won’t go out of my way to visit. Note for the parking: it isn’t well marked, but there is free parking for retail customers in the garage beside the patio. It would be in their best interest to make this well known with a little signage.

We went here to watch the Bravos play their home opener. I was stoked about being able to walk to and from a new cheap sports bar as I needed some time away from the Elbow Room. There are TVs everywhere which is awesome. The bar area is pretty nicely decorated but the spinning dessert cabinet made me question if we had accidentally walked into a Piccadilly instead. Boyfriend and I start with some Garlic Knots. The menu advertised them as a house specialty. I still have the taste of these in my mouth and not in a good way. While thinking about how to describe them, boyfriend said«Have you ever dropped popcorn in pool water? Similar.» boy was he right. They looked like Pilsbury rolls out of a can. There was absolutely NO garlic on these… only garlic powder. The middles were bland with a slightly alkaline taste. They were absolutely awful. I do have to say our nice server/bartender took them off our check when we said we disliked them. The boyfriend had a burger. It was fine. The coleslaw he got on the side was also fine. I love hot wings with a passion so got those with a side of fries. The wings were pretty decent. Better than a lot of sports bars but I’d put them a little below the standard Taco Mac fare. The fries they came with were actually good. But then OldE TownE GrillE had to jack them up by giving us ketchup with some mad weird cumin flavor in it. I love cumin, but this was overpowering and pretty off putting. Without ketchup, I actually enjoyed the fries. Once the game came on, I expected the music to be turned down in the bar area. Nope. We got to continue to listen to the most awful insult to classic rock that Sirius radio ever crapped out. I was really sad to write this. I love sports. I love sports bars. I love getting drunk on cheap beer while plowing some hot wings and watching the Braves/Hawks/Falcons/(winnepeg jets?). Unfortunately, I doubt I’ll be doing that at OldE TownE GrillE any time soon. Sad. Such a great spot and awesome TVs but a weird mixture of décor, crappy food and distracting music make this a no-go for me… Hello again, Elbow Room.

If you live in the neighborhood and do not want to get in your car, AND you want Nachos or a burger and fries. this might be the place to go, but for anything else– don’t waste your money. Trying to be all things to all people. Way too many choices on the menu, for all of it to be good. Everything we had looked appetizing enough, however it was all a real disappointment. We went to this place because it just opened and we thought we would give it a try, Sorry to say. You don ‘t get a second chance to make a first impression.

What an improvement from Saskatoon! A friend and I were catching up yesterday afternoon and started out at Fado. It was already buzzing with pre-Saint Patty’s Day festivities so we decided to try a new spot. The place is well-appointed and very welcoming, and they have added a bunch of(actually working, unlike their predecessor) large screen TV’s. Perfect timing for March Madness! The bar is fully equipped now with draft beers whose taps are functional and all the usual other adult beverage suspects you’d expect fully stocked. We didn’t eat but the menu looks good– solid bar food from apps to salads to sandwiches. I’d happily come back for a casual meal. Nice, friendly bartenders and a manager buzzing around, clearly engaged. This location has proven tough for everyone from Harry Bissett’s and before, and Saskatoon was a disaster. Hopefully OT can make it to…OT!

Have visited twice and will be back., Classic pub environment. Great bar food and energetic staff that you’d expect in a new place. A distinctive addition at night is the Chophouse menu. Nicely prepared plates featuring steaks and several daily specials. Normally don’t order chicken, but had a nicely sautéed breast with a terrific carrot risotto and braised cabbage. A great step-above bar food… rivals any fine dining in Buckhead. Great place to hang out with your friends — a variety menu items for the fine-diners on the Chophouse Menu, and from the Regular Tavern menu, a great selection of appetizers, salads, burgers, fish and other main-course items. Best fries in town!

So the guys at Olde Towne Tavern have talken over the old Sasskatoon space in the Atruim building and the place looks great. I have yet to go and eat but I have peeked in a couple of times pre construction. I but have been going to there stores for years. If you have ever been to an Olde Towne you know they do a great job. Its a simple concept, hire cute nice girls, serve good food at reasonable prices, give good service, I know thats the craziest concept ever for a restaurant but it seems to work out for them. So if your your in Buckhead or OTP check them out. P. S. They have a bunch of old pics of old Buckhead all over they got from the Atlanta History center that are awesome
