Love, love, love this place! The owners are super sweet and will help you out if you are feeling adventurous and want to try something new. So many delicious things… and the only place I’ve been able to find Mi goreng noodles(try ‘em, they’ll change your life!). It takes about an hour to get here for me — but so worth the drive.

Came here today for the Pad Thai essentials. I did a ton of research on fish sauces ahead of time and they had what is supposed to be the best one(Tiparos), as well as tamarind juice and rice noodles and what looked like ingredients for every other Thai recipe I could name. My mom used to send me dried squid snacks when she lived in Okinawa and they had those too! And the female owner was super helpful, since I got a bit lost amid all the foreign labels. Very pleased with the selection as they had exactly what I came for.

Not too many choices. I have been to places with a lot more choices and better price.

The Oriental Food Mart is a nice place to stop by — especially when you need a bit of help on selecting the many different Asian products out there. The owners of the store are really helpful and friendly(and entertaining too!) It is always a pleasure to stop in and shop. Compared to the larger Asian food stores out there, this smaller store gives a more superb and personalized experience to its customers.

This place is awesome! You can find all kinds of Southeast Asian food here — from the basics, like jasmine rice, to the very obscure, like delicious pre-bottled pad Thai sauce. They specialize mainly in Thai foods, and are known for carrying the rare, hard-to-find Thai ingredients, like spices and sauces. They even have frozen, pre-cooked signature Thai dishes and desserts — curries, pad Thai, sweet sticky rice with custard, etc. This is one of the longest-standing Asian grocery stores along the Doraville/Chamblee end of Buford Highway. It’s a true mom-and-pop store that’s been in its same location for 25 years. The couple and the store are well known around Metro Atlanta for their very specific stock of Southeast Asian food. They carry various popular Asian snacks, like spicy, dried squid and crispy, dried seaweed strips. They also have the usual Asian drinks, like soybean milk and coconut juice. There’s an entire aisle of Asian-designed dishware and cookware. They even have different sizes of rice cookers! You can also find Indonesian food in this store. And if you’re curious, they carry the true Asian Ramen(or Ramyun) noodles. But the best thing about this place is the husband-and-wife team are like walking cookbooks. They can tell you all the key ingredients to making yummy, traditional Lao, Thai and Vietnamese food(and maybe even a few Cambodian dishes).
