Panera Bread

Again, I just don’t get the negative reviews here! There really aren’t good eating options at Perimeter, or at most malls, really, and Panera is great here. Again, the cashier/​server, Patricia, was super polite. Food was consistently good — I really like bread! Most important to me… she made sure to use napkin/​tissue to place me items in the bag. No bare hands. I appreciate people taking care of hygiene. Good job.

I’ve been to this store 6 – 7 times in 6 years. On Monday I stopped in to grab a bite with my wife and daughter about 3:00pm; until Monday afternoon I credited the Panera in Rogers Arkansas as the worst store in the chain– but this nasty a– store takes the cake ! Floor dirty, carpet dirty, men’s bathroom dirty, tables dirty, soda machine needed cleaning, sandwich prep area unclean — when I asked the manager about the condition of the store, he blamed staff… I got my money back and walked out…

Let me start off my saying I work in the mall and I usually com here for breakfast and lunch both days. So I spend a pretty penny here. Well this morning I went to get my bagel and cream cheese and a soda and I got my bagel for it to cut wrong. So I asked for another one. And the girl ask somebody else behind the counter if they knew how to cut the bagel. Because she didn’t know how. The other girl also did not know how to cut a bagel either. So the manager came out and said that I could basically cut it myself and gave an attitude for me asking to get my bagel correct and handed it back miss cut again! Also she forgot to give my friend her muffin and her breakfast sandwich looked disgusting. I am completely disappointed it will never go back to this location. A manager should never talk to a customer that way.

I am in medical sales and use Paneras across the southeast for catering almost every single week. I will NO longer use them due to the unprofessional catering manager in the northern Atlanta area, Wes Hendrix. Not only did I NOT receive a callback with assistance for a delivery order website mistake but he waited until the DAY OF my meeting to email me that he was too busy! It was IMPOSSIBLE to book anyone else this late and IF he would’ve called me back the day I called him I would’ve been able to find another company. Instead I had to PAY to get on an earlier standby flight so I could pick it up — which was out of my way — and deliver it MYSELF! Though the managers Heather/​Lenny did what they could do NOT use them for catering!

I can imagine one’s frustration with a long wait during lunch hour … but we experienced no problems yesterday at about 1:30. Service with a smile, didn’t take long … and the food was rather good.
Both of us had the «Take Two» where you get two half-​sized portions of soup, salad, sandwich — your choice. The lemon orzo soup was rich and lemony (not quite like Greek lemon soup.) My onion soup tasted better than it looked. (We’re all used to those crocks running over with crusty cheese. That’s not what this is.)
My daughter and I both had Asian chicken salad — not the best rendition in the world, but perfectly fine. With a generous slice of crusty bread, we enjoyed our quick bite, and went on our way for the day’s task at hand: shopping!

I usually don’t write a review but this is the WORSE Panera Bread. They are always slow and the get my order wrong every time… do not waste your time. It should not take 20 minutes to make an egg and cheese bagel.

Panera Bread in a Food Court in a Shopping Mall! What were you thinking? Food takes about 10 to 15 minutes to get to you in any Panera Bread Bakery but then you have a place to sit and wait. Not in a food court!
Today was a weekday (Thursday Evening) and it took 5 minutes wait for us to place an order and then another 10 to get our food. Food was hot and fresh so no complaints there but the wait time is not worth it.
Have seen over 15 people queuing up on a weekend. We just had 2 ahead of us.

Again this place Is horrible beyond belief! This is my third time ordering a chicken Cobb salad from them. Again they forgot to put the salad dressing in my take out. Three
Times I order a salad, two times you Forget the dressing ?! Do you guys have any standards at all? This kind of rate of error is outrageous…

There were only two people working, which I guess could explain the egregiously slow service. I ordered a toasted plain bagel and a small coffee. She asked me if I wanted room for cream in the coffee, to which I replied «yes.» Then, she handed me half of a small coffee. If I wanted an espresso shot, that’s what I would have ordered. With no one in line in front of me it literally took them 5 minutes to pull a bagel off the shelf and hand it to me. Also they were out of coffee, had to get more out of the back, and out of cream. They weren’t even busy!

I guess it could be because this place just opened and they are working out the kinks but my experience was not that great. I went on ¹⁰⁄₃₀ and was greeted by a nice woman who appeared to be a training manager. She was patient with me as I made up my mind. I decided to get a ½ and ½ combo for lunch and a chicken hummus bowl for dinner because I knew I had to work late. I also asked her about the green tea but I felt unsure ordering it because I do not like really sweet tea. My total was over 17 $. More than I wanted to spend for lunch even if I got 2 items and a drink. The lady ended up giving me a tea sample which was really nice of her and turns out the tea was way to sweet so I just ordered unsweet tea but I was still charged $ 2.50 for it. I am not sure what it was about my sandwich, soup or hummus bowl but it took 11 minutes to make. I stood there while people all around me got their food. Never once did an employee acknowledge or apologize for my wait. This is a mall food court at lunch and people expect their food pretty much instantly. If you can’t get the food out quick then give an explanation or update and an apology. For anyone who has had Panera before its just standard stuff. not anything to spend almost $ 20 on and then wait too long. I guess I would go back and see how it is once they are open for a while.
