We wrapped up a rainy exploration of Piedmont Park with a stop by ParQ for drinks and pizza. The owner was kind and welcoming despite nearly everyone in the bar being there for his wife’s birthday. The service was prompt, the wine/​beer options satisfying and the Margarita pizza delicious. We were even offered a cupcake out of the party’s cupcake tower as a complimentary dessert. As an occasional visitor to Atlanta and a fan of Piedmont Park, I will definitely be back for the comfortable atmosphere and delicious food.

Caprese salad was outstanding. Fresh organic ingredients. Being a pizza snob from the north, I am very skeptical regarding anything else. But this place had outstanding pies. Great environment too. The inside was cramped, and seemed to embrace imperfection in terms of décor, and it made the place really comfortable and cozy despite its lack of space. Outside seating was outstanding. Lovely location near Piedmont Park. The outside seating is nice to take advantage of when the weather is favorable. Otherwise, not memorable. I had a pasta dish that was pretty basic and recall being disappointed that they couldn’t make me a virgin piña colada.
No shade thrown at this place but def don’t think it’s anything special.

The food must be good here as the servers are all busy eating it — compared to allowing the paying customers to order.

A friend and I went to eat at ParQ and were having a casual drink — ordered a pizza, then the unthinkable happened.
Nickelback.
Yep. We asked if they could turn it town — which they obliged, but I don’t think they actually turned it down. It was sooooooooo loud! It was Nickelback after Nickelback song… they may have thrown in an Incubus or something terrible to break up the playlist.
We finished our beers and asked for the pizza to go.
Hey — people love this place apparently, but it might just not be for me.
Pizza wasn’t that great anyway. So overall, blah.

So there I was, on my way to Piedmont Park, when I see the sign: $ 3 sangria.
It was like the skies opened and a ray of sunshine was beaming on ParQ. Although I had no intent on being one of THOSE Saturdays, how can you pass up $ 3 sangria?!
Sangria was delish, and the bartenders and servers were friendly and let us take up one of their patio tables while we enjoyed the fantastic weather.
I’ve been here a few other times and the food has always been good! Particularly the pizzas.
I’m sad that this place seems often overlooked, because it has a great location and is perfect for a quaint lunch at the park (q?). Their staff seems to be friendly enough and food is on par. So what gives Atlanta? Give this place a shot.
Oh yeah– and get the $ 3 sangria.

Came in here for lunch one day. They’ve got $ 2.50 slices. I got two with pepperoni and fresh mozzarella. One of the employees was really nice and kept me company while I was waiting on my food. I warn that you’ll want to eat this pizza with plenty of wet wipes. Not head over heels for it but it is good. Not much seating inside but there is a patio and there are benches in the park. Seems to have a decent selection of alcohol, too.

Love the area and sitting on the patio is a must! Super friendly staff and great food!

Not a bad spot to hang on a weekend day, or weekday if you can sneak away, but my favorite part is that it’s on the park and I can bring my puppy. Sharing a salad and pizza is about perfect with a glass of wine and won’t set ya back a whole lot.

ATMOSPHERE: I guess this restaurant just changed its name and nothing else because the old restaurant name was visible in various locations… makes me think management is not very good. Also the indoor dining area looked like a storage area right in front of where we were sitting… also a negative. I don’t like the messy look. They have a huge patio area, which would be nice if it weren’t so humid and hot outside.
FOOD:
1. Hummus with pita — nothing spectacular or unique…
2. The trio pizza with 2 slices of each (chicken, pepperoni, arugula) — think crust style. Not very memorable. Very average but it was ok tasting.
3. House white wine — good but forget what it was.
SERVICE: Good. No complaints here.
PRICES: We used a Groupon and got an appetizer, 1 pizza, 2 glasses of wine for $ 15.
CONCLUSION: Average place… I probably won’t come again on my own. I’m still a Mellow Mushroom person.

Stopped here and enjoyed a comfortable Midtown weekend evening. Stuck our head inside the bar to see if we needed to be seated, and the bartender told us to just grab any table. A regular at the bar yelled over to us, «the pizza’s fantastic!» While the tomato sauce was a little sweet for my tastes, I have to admit that the pizza is pretty good, and the outdoor patio shared with neighbor Willy’s is great place to enjoy a beer and people-​watch. Every patron in the place seemed to be enjoying themselves.
The service was slow but friendly. We had garlic knots with the previously mentioned too-​sweet sauce, and enjoyed a decent selection of beers with our pizza. Final verdict: Not the best pizza in Atlanta, but a worthy stop nevertheless. The relaxing patio atmosphere earns a bump from three to four star territory.

I continue to *heart* ParQ big time. I happened to be in the area today and had the need for lunch — and I ended up pretty much having the whole place to myself, a lovely time visiting with manager Chris, and trying something new!
I usually get that chicken panini (so yum) but today, the meatball sliders caught my eye — and going on Chris’s assertion they were good, ventured into new territory. Three nice-​sized sliders (I finished almost two of them) composed of a thick meatball, arugula, provolone, a marinara-​type sauce and a little pancetta (I think– I didn’t taste it too much but I think I remember it being on the menu description). Nice plump buns. So tasty!
A few notes. .. they’re changing the menu soon– keeping the most popular items, probably going to just one pasta, and there’s no longer a pizza buffet. As Chris explained, when it’s set out buffet-​style, people don’t get the best version of their pizza and they don’t want customers to think that’s how it always is, if say you come at 2 and it’s been out a little while rather than immediately brought to your table. Fair enough. They’re also going to be doing happy hour food specials as well as some different lunch deals (pick one from each of three categories, that kind of thing).
Must bring Big back to sit on the patio in nice weather!

Two new developments at this cute little pizza joint on Piedmont Park. First, the name is Parq. (Guess they wanted to keep a Q in the name.) Second, they deliver!

I wanted to go to the Flying Biscuit to try a new brunch place, but the line was insane, so I came to this place instead.
I got the Americano breakfast panini on wheat bread. It was stuffed with egg, bacon, provolone, and ham. It wasn’t too heavy, but I definitely felt full a little past half-​way through. I also sampled my bud’s pizza and it was really fresh with a great crisp crust. I wanted a mimosa, but it was 5.50 and that’s a bit much for that small glass.
If you visit this place on a sunny, weekend day be mindful that dogs may be everywhere. A park where many take there dogs is literally right next to the restaurant, so lots of people stop through before or after they hang there. This place mainly seats outside, so if you are sometimes annoyed by big dogs panting and slobbing on treats next to you, you may want to pick another restaurant.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere — and they have parking!
Quattro always goes off my radar in the winter, but today was so pretty I decided to grab a bite after I went to the park.
Food:
They have such good food here! Their pizzas are delicious! The Hummus is so good! They also have the best Bruschetta I have had in Atlanta.
Service:
Spot on — and the waiters always have a good attitude and seem genuinely happy to see you.
Atmosphere:
They have the best patio at Piedmont park. When it’s too cold for the patio they have a great bar inside.
Go! Enjoy the food and the park!

Disappointment #1 — These folks need to update the hours on their website. We arrived 11:35 and they said their kitchen wouldn’t be ready for another 15 minutes — their website says they open 11:00. You might want to call beforehand to find out when they REALLY open.
Disappointment #2 — Pizza Buffet did not have the specialty pizzas described on their website. The «Weekdays Specialty Pizza Buffet» is $ 8, and supposedly includes 6 of their specialty pizzas, salad, and beverage. Looking at the list of specialty pizzas on the menu and the pizzas on display, they were far from specialty. Every pizza was just 1 topping only (either ham, pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, tomato, or yellow pepper) — and the pizzas were very plain tasting. Caesar Salad was just ok.
Disappointment #3 — They won’t let you use Scoutmob for the lunch buffet. I’d read Michelle B’s review from 8÷30÷10 which said she used Scoutmob for the lunch buffet, and naturally assumed mine should apply no problem. Is lunch buffet considered a special offer? Just mad at myself for paying regular price for a disappointing lunch — we only picked this place b/​c of Scoutmob.
Overall 2.5 stars. After reading everyone else’s reviews, maybe they were just having a bad day. In any case, I’d recommend skipping the lunch buffet.

I’ve driven by this place so many times but never really noticed it. Odd, because I could always recall Willy’s being next door, but not the restaurant next to it.
But thanks to Scoutmob, my friends and I ventured over and lo and behold, it’s the place next to Willy’s by Piedmont Park. Right when I walked up, I was greeted by friendly staff and a tall glass of water.
We ordered the sweet potato chips and hummus to start, and then proceeded with the bikini pizza and one of their paninis. Their pizzas are thin crust. I personally like doughy pizza crusts (what can I say, I’m a carboholic) so I found their pizza to be good, but not spectacular. Same with the panini. The sweet potato chips, on the other hand, were fantastic. All our food came out promptly. This was a pleasant surprise for a pizza place.
Pros: staff, outdoor seating, dog friendly (comes with doggie bowls and treats!)
Cons: persistent flies if you sit outside.

Got a chance to check this place out and immediately couldnt believe how tiny of a place it was. We sat inside at the last available table and waited for our food, for a long time. I can understand that having two girls work the entire place even if its small will result in this so I couldnt blame them much. After all our waitress was very nice.
As the food came out we were real impressed with the mini heros which are like mini meatball sandwiches. These set the bar for the entire meal and they were quite good. However the rest of the meal was kinda meh.
The ceasar had nothing going for it, not exactly bland but not a whole lot of flavor, and the steak didn’t have anything on it at all.
I hate to make the comparison but the pizza reminded us a bit of California Pizza Kitchen. It had steller ingrediants but it came out kinda cool as if it had been sitting awhile. The crust was also a bit too thick for the amount of topping it comes with. Id go back during the half off special which happenes 4 – 7 M-​F to give other pizzas a shot.

Wow.
Come by here almost on a daily basis as I make my way to work out in the park. With Scoutmob in hand, I finally decided to see what this place was all about — and I’m glad I did! The experience went well beyond fabulous food; the staff was equally as awesome.
First, the food. I started with the hummus, which was creamy with a hint of spice from the red peppers and olives blended in. After demolishing that in record time, I waited for the Pear & Walnut salad. A delicious blend of cheeses, veggies, and fresh lettuce met a pear vinaigrette and danced in my mouth. Every bite was amazing, and for kicks I tried the balsamic dressing as well. Extremely tangy, just the way I like it! I did not try a pizza, but the boy had the white and had to tell himself to stop eating it so he’d have leftovers to enjoy the next day. Yum yum indeed.
The service was impressive. Our server was more than happy to let us move to a smaller table mid-​meal to offer up more room to a larger group that had come in, and the man who we believe to be the manager was especially awesome in his offering of a cool, wet towel to the boy so he could clean up after our workout before we ate. That was without asking for anything! He was very personable and chatted with us for a little bit. You don’t get that kind of service much these days anymore… Thankfully, Quattro tries and succeeds at keeping customers happy.
So great service, great food, great patio area… it’s almost like the free wi-​fi and live music Wednesdays makes it over the top awesome. Oh wait — they do. IF you have a pup, the patio area is open to them and there’s bowls for water and a few doggie treats to boot. I’m seriously wondering what took me so long to come here, and I’m sure to be back!
