One person working the whole store. Had to wait several minutes at an empty check out desk waiting to buy something.(Managements fault, not the woman working there). Once she was able to help us, she was very nice

I love the hell out of Pier 1. I have been shopping in Pier 1 since I was a kid with my mom. When I had moved to Atlanta, I was so happy to see a Pier 1 store. Every week I would stop into Pier 1 to check out their new inventory. I always loved shopping in Pier 1 or Bombay with my mom in LA. However now I live in Europe, so no Pier 1. So, it is always a treat when I do get to visit the states, because I run right on in there. Staff always supper friendly and very helpful.

Super friendly staff, great selection and the only location in the Atlanta metro area that had my dishes(I chipped a couple… probably after too much wine that I drank out of my cute wine glasses also from Pier 1). I could get lost in this place and never come out. Only negative for me today was that with all the xmas get-up the aisles were very narrow and a little hard to navigate. Not bad enough to reduce by a star, but you might not want to brave it with your unruly child on a busy day. Just sayin.

I just love this store! I find my self going in for one thing and coming out with things that I just couldn’t resist getting. Pier1 is awesome, I love the culture vibe of all the products.

Let me start out with — I love Pier 1. I could spend a lot of hours in this store. But I did the shop on line and pick up in store for the first time at this store. It was a great experience and I will 100% do it again. If you haven’t done the shop-online pick up in store. I highly recommend it.

The super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff definitely set this Pier1 location apart from any other in the ATL or anywhere. It is quite evident that they take pride in the appearance of the store and the merchandise they sell. Clearly they strive to make your shopping experience pleasant and they sincerely appreciate your patronage.

The midtown/ansley location has a great staff that is very helpful. I walked in with fabric swatches and they were on it – finding me cushions, rugs, accessories. they listened to what i wanted and helped me the best they could. prices are a little high but there’s some cool stuff in there.

I have an unfair hostility towards Pier 1. Objectively, the store is just fine. The prices are actually not that bad and the selection changes on a regular basis. There are some cute finds to be had in a Pier 1, given the opportunity. However, I refuse to give that opportunity for two reasons: 1) There should be a law limiting the number of scented candles in one place. Because this store gets all, all CANDLEY is why I have a headache by the time I leave this place. 2) Wicker is the devil. Every time I sit on something wicker, it pinches me in the boy parts. And, even though I know it’s unfair and they’ve updated their furniture lines, I equate Pier 1 with wicker. Therefore I equate Pier 1 with ‘nad pain. That is not a good association in my book. Two unfairly given stars.
