Very overpriced and very unfriendly staff the night I tried it out. Small portions for what you pay for. 4 small scoops for a large at 6.99. The cup was half full! A ripoff.

Should be ashamed at the price for the serving size they offer. The gelato itself was average at best. Looked like it had sat out for a while.

The product is ok but it is extremely overpriced. Today is the first and last visit for me to this establishment.

It’s over 100 degrees here in hot-lanta, and actually not too many places in ATL airport to get something cool like this. It’s overpriced, even for an airport, but they are open to tastings. I’m in love with the hazelnut gelato! One of the better gelato tasting places I have found!

Every single time that I’m about to fly home after visiting my nephews, it’s a bit sad. I decided to make it a tradition to stop at Pino Gelato and it makes the trip back a little easier

Incredibly overpriced gelato and the«spoon» given to use makes it almost impossible to eat while walking thru an airport. The staff member who served me acted like she couldn’t be bothered with any questions or when I ordered. The cashier that assisted me was courteous and engaging.

This place is very overpriced, but the gelato is as good as it gets. I tried 2 flavored before settling on the Nutella with mint choc chip. The small size is enough to make me a happy bits, but it is definitely overpriced. My scoop of Nutella had little bits of Nutella floating around which was awesome! The mint choc chip was pretty okay. I also tried the milk choc with whisky which was pretty yum as was the coconut, yum yum! Service was great — smiling and patient while I tried to make a choice. There were 2 elderly ladies behind me who had never tried gelato before and the girl behind the counter gave them a good description of the difference between ice cream and gelato. Would I come here again? If I am in the mood to splurge at the airport again(which seemed like today, lol) then yeah I might just! But then, I love gelato in general.

I should have taken Unilocal’s advice. Small serving size. Tiny paper/cardboard cups. Tiny little spoon that’s barely useable. Just too pricey for the portion you receive. On top of it, the server wasn’t very pleasant to deal with.

I hope the manager/owner reads this. This same experience had happened now three times at this same location at ATL airport. The standard is two scoops in a small cup. I prefer two very small scoops… I just don’t want THAT much ice cream. So, they tell me that it’ll be the same price… That is ok… better out of my wallet and off of my hips than out of my wallet and onto my hips. This concept is continually so difficult for the young ladies behind the counter. Here is exactly how I order: two very small scoops in one cup, one of … and the other of … Twice I have had to break down this request even further and say to give me one half the size of each scoop that you would normally give and put them in the same cup. They again repeat that it is the same price… Yes…I know, that is fine. But today was the incident that made me write a review. The scooper argued with me! She proceeded to scoop a very small amount of the first flavor out and then put a tiny scoop of the send flavor on top. My only choice was to do it myself. So I took a cup, scooped out half of the first flavor and left it in the counter for her to throw out. As I am leaving she tells me that I can take it with me if I want! Holy smokes!!! I hope that the manager/owner will work with these young ladies to teach then a few things: 1) give the customer what they want… buy less and pay more… This is a retailer’s dream, 2) listen to the customer… the customer will usually be clear, especially of their order deviates, 3) never ever argue with a customer… ever. Will I continue to go here? Will have to go one more time just to satisfy my curiosity as to whether or not someone is training… or firing this young lady. Incidentally, I just read another review commenting about the poor attitude of the workers here. To the manager/owner: if you want to follow up, I purchased my ice cream on 1⁄30 around 720pm.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. About 30 minutes ago I just got treated like absolute crap by an African-American female employee. I tried to find a number for this place to complain but she’s the only one working there right now. I walked up and said«hi» with a smile on my face & she scowled at me like I did something horrible to her. She copped a major attitude the entire time & refused to show me the different size ice cream cups. I’ve never been treated with this much animosity when all I was trying to do was buy some ice cream! When I was trying to figure out which size was what, she goes«so you want the ice cream or not?» She also mumbled a racial slur under her breath that I’m not even comfortable repeating. Then after I paid she threw the receipt at me. I don’t know what kind of people in their right mind would hire this horribly unpleasant woman with such an awful attitude. I’ll never be back.

Not only am I deathly afraid of airplanes and everything that has to do with it, but during my layover in Atlanta, I began to feel like a lost country girl in the middle of this truly huge airport. My gate had changed while I was on my first flight and I was too stressed out by the crowds to do anything about it, so I obviously found the nearest ice cream place and got what they had. It was more ice cream than true gelato, which was more than fine with me. It was also really, really good. The lady at the counter was extremely kind for having to deal with a rush of travelers all day, including lost-looking, confused and dazed ones like me. She was nice and got people through the line quickly with good service. The only downside is that it was way more the expensive for just a little bit of ice cream. But it is to be expected in an airport, I guess.

This gem is new to the airport scene and is located between gates C12 and C14. The staff were very personable. At just over $ 7 for 3 scoops it was slightly overpriced(this is an airport) AND it was worth every penny! Limoncello is definitely my favorite — I paired it with a scoop of Reeses and a scoop of Pistachio. Yes, I know that these two«nut» flavors didn’t «go» with the fruit but I couldn’t have just one! I also sampled the Cinnamon and the Maracino Cherry — both very good!
