Severed ties: Studio consecutively canceled classes for a month in mid membership. Inquired if compensation with a few drop-​in classes could happen, I was given excuses. Therefore, I asked to speak to Angela the owner, I was given the run around. I finally demanded my money back i only took 2 of 8 classes.
I was a LOYAL customer made it to Level 6.2! Unprofessional, unethical, and over expansion is why I had to get a return for my paid in full membership. CANCELED MY CLASSES FOR A MONTH WITHOUT COMPENSATION, do to a random ATL Studio move.

Booked a private pole dancing party here for me and four other girls for my sisters 30^th birthday. The staff were very prompt in getting back to me when I initially reached out about booking a party and were great at answering questions.
I had taken a private pole dancing class before in Las Vegas so I knew what to expect but none of the other ladies in my group had taken a class so it was a fun new experience for everyone.
The price was comparable to what I paid in Vegas, because we only had 5 girls in our group instead of the normal 7 minimum they recommend we paid a little extra a person ($ 42 dollars per) which was fine, our groups was happy and each person got their own pole to dance on during the class. Plus the party here was a lot more customized. They ask you to pick a theme for the private parties, you get the music you want, if you have a guest of honor they get a special goody bag at the end, every one else gets a nice cute standard goody bag and they give everyone a «certified stripper license» at the end which is a cute little nice memorable touch.
They JUST moved into a new studio space the week we went into for our class. The space is nice and I think it will be amazing once completely finished.
Our instructor, «Hot Sauce» I think her actual name was Angela, was SUPER sweet and made the class fun and the routine we learned easy to catch on with. She was super encouraging to all of us girls when getting the moves down.
The only con/​issue we had was paying. They require a $ 100 deposit and the remaining balance to be paid in cash the day of your party and EXACT change has to be given. That was a bit annoying since there was 5 girls paying and most people don’t carry cash let alone exact dollar amounts around these days. I will say the staff was very good about communicating this the several times I spoke to them when booking and the days leading up to the party. They sent several reminder emails and text all with the note that cash and exact change was due upon our arrival. So it was nice to have a heads up on the payment but a bit annoying. I really think they could use to update their payment system. We were also supposed to have water and light snacks upon our arrival, they advertise that as part of the private party packages and we received no water, which would have been nice and no snacks, which was okay but we definitely could have used the water. Not sure if they just didn’t have these on hand since they were in the new space or why we were not given anything.

So my friends and i explore all that ATL has to offer, we are constantly checking out new spots and doing new things. Groupon had a two week deal to Polelateaz so we decided to give it a go! The classes were pretty cool and it definitely helps you channel your inner sexy, however the time goes by so fast that if you’re a beginner you have 2 – 3 shots to get the dance routine down and the hour is over. As a previous dancer, I thought it would be a simple 5−6−7−8 but you have to think about every move that all your moves look choppy at the end when you intend to leave feeling like you are a sexy lil beast (ok not that extreme lol)
But my 3 stars come in because I signed up for the 2 week course and my friends agreed we’ll go MWF since that fits everyone’s schedule, howeverrrrrr 3 of our classes were cancelled last minute (you do the math) we were only ably to make up for one of the classes at the last minute but they didn’t even care to let us make up the others. I heard this happens often and we’ve decided not to go forward with an actual membership because of this. I mean the trial is so you can join right?

The class was great. However, we started very late. We waited outside and the studio was locked. We drove from about 1.5 hours away for this class so I was a little disappointed in the lateness. I was hoping they would give us a full hour but we didn’t get that… but that class was a good class!

I wish I was watching Scandal right now. I wish I was doing anything but writing this honest yet bad review for a place that I once loved. Customer service is VERY important to me and as during the last two years of me being a student here, I can honestly say that is one of the many things that this place is lacking. The inconsistency and unprofessionalism that I witnessed today was unreal! The events of today honestly have me embarrassed that I choose to spend over $ 3,000 over the last few years at a place that doesn’t value me as a customer. This is not the only Pole studio in Atlanta. I took classes at the others and thought that Pole La Teaz was the best fit for what I wanted out of a pole studio.
Pros: The classes are fun. Most of the Teachers are great. Erin and Shameka’s drop in classes are my favorite. The other students are great!
Cons: Studio upkeep. A pole fell down last Nov/​Dec and has yet to be replaced. Rules only exists for those people that they don’t like. If they like you you can skate by the rules or they don’t apply to you. The owner doesn’t speak and isn’t at all friendly. Things that are included in the membership are barely offered (4 week series) or not honored when you try to redeem them (guest passes). Emails take a while to get answered if they are even answered at all.
Again customer service is big to me. If you don’t care about how you are treated as a customer then this is the place for you. I fortunately have been spoiled by the «my pleasure» attitude of businesses and will not give another $ 1 to this one.

I went here for my friends bachelorette party and had an amazing time! We had a private magic city bachelorette party class with Erin aka London (our instructor) and it was so much fun! Upon arrival the attendants were gracious and warm. During the class Erin was high energy and very attentive and interactive. I We did a lot in one hour. I would highly recommend this to anyone. I would recommend bring a pair of short shorts, water and not applying lotion prior to attending. They do provide some clothing for sale.

I signed up for a 4 – 8 week session and loved every minute. I felt more confident, grew stronger and can’t wait for my next lesson. It’ll be a while only because the price is half a months worth of pay for me. If they lower the price a bit it may become 5 stars.

I went for the sultry chair class last Tuesday. I’ve dabbled in the exotic dance classes, but few places were convenient, reasonably priced, etc. I somehow had a free class, so I dropped into the chair class. I really liked the teacher, Lori. She was enthusiastic, taught a fun routine, and the hour flew by. Who knew exotic dancing helped with a sore back? The other students were friendly as well. Now for the less good parts…
They get knocked down 2 stars because the place is impossible to find. They give directions on their website, but even then I had a really difficult time finding them. Also, the class schedule is wildly inconsistent. I was thinking I would take the chair class again this week because I enjoyed it so much. When I looked on the schedule, a totally different class was there. I looked at other classes and the same was true across the board. I had a hard time finding another chair class at all.
I’ll leave them at a solid 3 until I take a few more classes, assuming I can get any kind of consistent attendance with their schedule.

Hosted a friend’s bachelorette party here. It was beyond fantastic! Cory was a great teacher and is a very talented dancer. The group learned a lot in a short time, and had so much fun doing it. We were talking about it for days! Locals plan to go back ASAP.
I planned the party from NY, and the administration was very helpful. If you book this place for a girls’ night, you are in for an amazing experience!

Good workout! Good customer service, friendly and good environment. You will have a great time! Also it’s a lot of young people which is good.

I had my sister’s bachelorette party here and it was awesome! The instructors were so nice and accommodating. At first I thought it would be awkward since I have never done this before but it was so much fun! Definitely a great place for a girls night out!

Having recently planned my best friend’s bachelorette party weekend, I was on the search for a really great pole dance class to add to the agenda so us girls could let loose and allow our «inner sexy» to come alive! Being that I don’t reside in Atlanta I had to do some research. I was told that PoleLaTeaz was a great studio, so of course I checked the Unilocal reviews first. Lots of 5 star ratings which was my confirmation that this is where we needed to come. Needless to say, I booked us for a private party!
When booking a private party, they give you lots of options to choose from to make your party more personable and I really liked that! You are allowed to pick a theme for your class, as they have several different ones to choose from (all are listed on the website). We allowed our bride to be to pick and she went with the Magic City Pole Party. Ladies, this class is all the way live! From learning pole tricks to poppin and twerkin, you are definitely going to turn all the way UP! Our instructor was Corrie and let me tell ya, this chick is a beast with it– pole dancing skills are off the chain! At the beginning of the class, she introduced herself and did a full routine for us– ahhhhhh mazing! I seriously wanted to pull out some dollars and make it rain on her! She was that. damn. good. In addition, she had a great personality and made the class very personable. We started off by coming up with our own stripper names and each girl had to introduce themselves and reveal their new name. We then learned some pole moves and she taught us a routine. We were divided up into 2 teams and she had us perform the routine in front of the other group. The bride to be even had a chance to perform a solo routine at the end and we were given fake dollars to throw at her during her performance which was a lot of fun! The instructor then presented our bride to be with a PoleLaTeaz goodie bag that included a 7 day pass to come back for classes! Once the class was over, we were given some time to stay in the studio to take pictures and have some last minute fun on our own– good times for sure!
I highly recommend coming here especially if you’re booking a private party for a bachelorette weekend, birthday party or a girls night out. We certainly enjoyed our time at PoleLaTeaz! This is the perfect place to have some fun with your girls, bring out that sexy alter ego and WERK THAT POLE!!!
A few things to be mindful of when coming here are:
1.) Pay attention to the directions. This place is sort of off in the cut in a strip mall and can easily be passed up. We were a few minutes late because we missed the turn, so pay close attention!
2.) Arrive 15 minutes early if you are here for a private party to fill out paperwork. If a balance is due, it is at this time you will make the payment.
3.) Unless you booked the whole amount for the party on a credit card, they will only accept the remaining balance in cash. So get by an ATM beforehand if needed.

This place is awesome! Lots of fun for a girls night out, we were only there for a private party so I’m not sure how the actual pole classes are but if I lived in the area I would definitely try one out.
Corey is an excellent instructor, she really knows how to make a girl feel comfortable!

I’m currently a Level 5 student at PoleLaTeaz and I’ve had a blast since day 1! This is the only form of workout that I actually look forward to… so much so that I go at least 4 – 5 days a week. The studio itself is really cute, and the red lights and scented candles set the mood for your sensual workout. The instructors are great and very helpful, especially when it’s comes to teaching us some of the harder moves that can seem a bit intimidating at first. The friendships that I’ve formed over time are fabulous. And the boost in self-​confidence and physical strength/​weight-​loss and toning have been amazing.
I highly recommend checking out this super sexy studio!

I have been doing random drop in classes at PoleLaTeaz for about 2 years now. What I like best about this studio is the fact that they make the regular everyday woman feel like the sexiest thing on earth.
The studio is located in West Atlanta kinda off in the cut. So if you drive like speed racer you will miss it.
I have taken the Introductory Sampler twice and Jiggle It and I’m about to sign up to take Jiggle It again.
The introductory sampler class incorporates all aspects of PoleLaTeaz into one class for beginners. It’s the easiest way to try all the classes at once, lol.
Jiggle It is STRAIGHT CARDIO!!! OMG I was pouring buckets of sweat after that class. You are literally shaking your behind for about 45 minutes straight. Almost like on Nemo, Dorie (sp) sings «just keep swimming just keep swimming!» This is more like «just keep shaking just keep shaking don’t stop shaking!» And when they say bring kneepads BRING KNEEPADS. Those yoga mats won’t do anything for you during that class except be in the way.
All drop in classes are $ 15 with the exception of the introductory sampler, that is $ 20.
There are many other things to try out there but I love this place and I will continue to keep coming back.

I have been a pole dancing student here for a few months and I have nothing but great things to say about this studio and their instructors, but I am basing my review off of a private party I had. I invited girlfriends to take a chair class with me. Our instructor for the hour, Eva, did a routine for us, we all introduced ourselves, and then we got right into learning some moves. She was an awesome instructor. She shared her story of how she came to PoleLaTeaz.
We giggled and had the best time! We had both fast and slow music to dance to. We were able to take group pictures when we were done. I encourage anyone to have a private party here (they do more than just chair dance) to celebrate whatever event is happening in your life.

A girlfriend and I popped in for the Bombshell Bodies class ($ 15.00) last week and it was fun, interesting, and raunchy all at the same time. She agreed.
First, the venue is out of the way in West Midtown and you would never know it was back there if someone didn’t tell you about it. The space is nice, but our trip to Polateaz started with the bathroom being out of order and the receptionist telling us the nearest restroom was a mile away.
It was one hour of a sexy workout, including the pole. There were some beginners like myself and my friend and then some very «experienced» girls as well. They were sliding down the pole and doing tricks and I forgot where I was for a moment. About 15 minutes of the class was instruction and I just really wanted to get a hard core work out in, so that at some point I can have a bombshell body. It was a lot of crunches and lunges and sexy toning moves. The «experienced» ladies were wearing very tiny clothes and let me just say they were not exactly tiny.
While the class was fun and a decent enough workout I wanted a bit more out of a 15.00 pop in class.

I bought a voucher from groupon for 2 workshops ($ 30) and another voucher from livingsocial for 5 drop in classes (paid also $ 30).
Do bring: water, yoga mat, heels (start with heels you already have at home, after a couple of classes you could buy special heels designed for pole dance), dry hands (a lotion that helps you to grip the pole). wear contact lenses, shorts, top.
Location: short distance to I-​75. I live in midtown and there is usually not much traffic from midtown to Howell mill on I-​75 even during rush hour. Great location. Abundant parking.
How to register for class: I called polelateaz and gave them my voucher number, they activate my account immediately, the process takes like 3 minutes.
Facility: super clean, very well renovated with hardwood flooring. Classrooms are big. There were 2 – 10 students in those classes I took.
Workshops and Classes I have tried:
SUSPENDED YOGA DANCE WORKSHOP: fun and relaxing, with a lot of stretching, you work with a hammock.
BURLESQUE WORKSHOPS: The BEST! We were taught a routine that lasts 3 minutes using a chair, a dance stick and gloves, very tempting & teasing, my husband LOVES it!
BOMBSHELL BODIES: cardio based workout.
SEXY SUSPENDED YOGA: the short version of SUSPENDED YOGA DANCE WORKSHOP
B.A.R.R.E.: similar to a beginner ballet class taught in dance studios. Use the chair as barre. At the end of the class, a short pole routine is taught.
I will definitely come back, I hope they run more groupons.
Compare with Spinarella and Dance 411:
Spinarella:
Pros: super friendly environment, very supporting.
Cons: Neighborhood. Renovation of the studio. It takes at least 4 days to activate a groupon. After that, good luck with class registration.
Dance411: in their pole class, four people share one pole. In their chair dance class, they have more than 40 students in the class. No personal attention at all. Hard time to find a parking space, I had to park at a nearby Chinese takeout each time.

I’ve been a PoleLaTeaz regular for the past year and a half. I took one of the Intro classes as part of a Girls Night Out that I’d planned and got hooked! I love this place for a number of reasons
1. It’s a great workout. No really, it takes some serious strength!
2. It’s a place to come unwind with your pole sisters after a long day
3. The instructors are talented, helpful, and make you feel comfortable no matter your skill level
4. They offer outside the studio activities, performances, contests, etc to further build camaraderie with the other ladies.
5. They focus not only on learning pole tricks but help you build confidence, strength, dance and improv skills, etc
If you’re thinking about trying something new, drop into PoleLaTeaz!

This place is an absolute blast!
I found out about Polelateaz through a Groupon (2 weekend workshops for a discount), and I am so, SO glad that I gave it a try. The two workshops I tried out were the «Dirty Martini Pole Burlesque» and a «Lap Dance Seduction» workshop.
I’ve always loved dancing in general (I took 10 years of classes growing up — ballet, tap, jazz, etc) and I love going out to dance in clubs now. Basically, you give me some good music and I’m gonna wanna get my groove on. :)
So being told to wear fishnets, oversized button downs, heels and other fun outfits to learn these routines and bring out your inner diva was right up my alley. Once I arrived, the instructor took our group of between 10 — 15 women back to the studio that’s lit with these soft red lights (I learned red lighting hides /​erases any body flaws one might have) and full length mirrors down one side. Then she’d warm us up with some sexy music and stretching, then teach the routines.
We practiced things like sexy walks and moving your hips to make it sexier, «working the pole,» sliding down the pole (THAT was awesomely fun!), popping, locking and dropping! And it’s all set to great music — yes, it’s all top 40 pop and R & B, but it works so perfectly for getting you in the right mindset. And all the moves are strung into a routine to «demonstrate» your new skills for someone special. I had a ball!
And since only women are allowed in the class, it’s all a very safe environment to try out moves, adjust your walk, see if you look like a goofball or not. Overall, this is a great place, it executes everything so well, and I can’t totally want a pole in my next place! So fun!
