I’ve been doing my shopping for a several years here and like this place. First of all the prices are reasonable and even if you find something expensive, it will worth of it.
The building is very big, so there is a big choice of good and trendy things. I like that managers and staff are very helpful and don’t bother you with stupid questions.
Sometimes I see that the quality of some items are not so good, but I aware of such things and think twice before buying something. I will continue to do my shopping here. I’m glad to find the discounts or sales for clothes.

Terrible service. The employees (and manager) stopped my whole transaction to play secret Santa and giggle with each other. I had to remind her to finish. Make sure you have a lot of patience if you plan shopping here.

From totally vintage to the unimaginably obscure, Rag-​O-​Rama has everything you need to get your ATL weird vibes on. They’ve always got new, wicked jewelry in stock and you never know what crazy treasure you’re going to find at ROR. I’ve gotten the most compliments on clothing that I’ve bought from this place, and you really get a bang for your buck here too. So whether you’re new to Atlanta or just need to resuscitate your lifeless wardrobe, get on down to L5P and embrace your inner-​freaky goddess.

I really love this store but if you’re a size over 13 in pants or large shirts or dresses this place isn’t for you.

I love this chic, hip place! Love the fact that it’s not set up like a traditional thrift store. Lots of space to walk around and the clothing is not just stuffed on endless racks. It would be easy to spend hours just cruising through all the sections but there are really quality pieces. Will go back!

Great, interesting and eclectic array of merchandise. Purchased an authentic Fendi Sellaria for $ 45! I have always received great deals here and will continue to come back. Love this one because they don’t just purchase new, name brand merchandise, they have vintage as well.

I love this place! I have shopped here for years before I decided to sell anything. Their prices are good and they have diamonds in the rough you can fine. Today was my first day selling anything there, and it was a good experience.
Hopefully you have time, because it might just be busy. They give 50% if you’re going to spend the money in store, and 30% if you want cash. Oh, and if your belongings is worth more than $ 25 then they write a check. I know, kind of old school.

What a great store they buy sell and trade quality clothes the employees were super fast attending to customer needs they had an awesome selection and the store was very clean well done.

This is a cute thrift shop in Little Five Points. I stopped by here while poking around in the area. They have all types of used items here: purses, shoes, sunglasses, and guys and gals clothing. You can also find some interesting costumes in this place.
Prices can be hit or miss sometimes, so you have to be in the know about what stuff costs. Sometimes it seemed to me that someone forgot the items are used and not brand new. Other times I found myself cheesin about a good deal.
You can bring your used items to sell to them if you want to.
There is free parking along the side of the building, but don’t plan on leaving your car there while you stroll around L5P, or your good day will be ruined.
If you, like I, will take someone’s clothes, have them cleaned, and rock that ish, drop by the Rag and have a look around.

I’ve been to better

Whenever I come to visit Atlanta, I like to stop by (located in Little 5 Points). Rag-​O-​Rama is a resale store that pays cash or store credit on the spot for your gently used items. They purchase items based on style, condition, season, color, size label and rack levels.
You can buy, sell or trade clothes. Their store includes new and recycled items. From Wigs, handbags, jewelry, sunglasses, costumes, etc.
They carry and buy men’s/women’s current, classic, designer & vintage clothing/​accessories.
For Trade: Of the items they select, you have your choice of payment. Cash or store credit.
So this store is hit or miss. Their merchandise is renewed by customers daily, so each time you visit, there is new inventory. You can either walk out with nothing or a wardrobe.
I seem to find good deals. Just recently I bought two fall dresses for only $ 14.00. They were on the 50 percent off rack.
Pricing is reasonable. There are a few clothing I question on pricing, but for the most part, pretty cheap.
Fitting rooms available if you want to try on the clothes.
Staff is super friendly.

Right in the middle of Lil 5 Points a great store sits with vintage and name brand clothing available. There is something for everyone in this store. I even like the men’s section. For a consignment type store some of the prices are kind of high. Super cute shoes. I’ve bought plenty of their boots and custom jewelry. I mean, what you want, they got. It was awhile back since I’ve gone, but every time I drive or walk pass it I want to go in.
I’ve tried to get hired there because I love retail and clothes, but it seemed to be kind of tough. I’ve also tried to sale clothes to them with no success. Out of everything they may have taken one t-​shirt that was Old Navy and that was given to me by someone else. But if you’re in the Atlanta area and want to do some cool consignment clothes shopping I’d recommend this place. There are lots of other places around the area that you could take advantage of, bars and restaurants too.

I’ve read some of the comments some Unilocalers wrote about finding current, last season’s styles here. Huh? Maybe from the past 15 seasons. I’ve tried selling my clothes and shoes here more than once and told me something like this, «Miss, as much as we love what you brought in we cannot accept these clothes right now and we don’t accept shoes that’ve been worn more than once .» (I had some unique stuff too man! That hurt my feelings a lil’ bit lololol)…I think its a polite way of saying «We take items only a grandmother would love».
Plus, If you are larger woman or a big foot lady like myself, don’t bother trying. They used to carry 14+ but apparently stopped for some reason. Your best luck is the Men’s section if looking for something unisex/​casual.
The associates have «pretentious «written all over their faces.
Go to Psycho Sisters or Buffalo Exchange instead. Customer service is well appreciated there.

First of all I should start by saying I am the polar opposite of a hipster, but Rag-​O-​Rama is one of my favorite places to shop in Atlanta, probably for all the wrong reasons. I am stereotypically preppy, but man do I love a costume party!
Reasons Rag-​O-​Rama has been oh so good to this theme party loving yuppie over the years:
1) My beloved day glow ski suit. I got it for a winter eighties party and I feel like I’m in 1985 Aspen every time I pull it out of the closet. It’s also quite warm for dog walking in the dead of winter. Seriously.
2) A beautiful 1980s red satin prom dress complete with big poofy sleeves. It was also for an eighties party. Eat your heart out Molly Ringwald.
3) My newest pride and joy: a sequined Christmas cocktail dress, also from the eighties (surprise, surprise). It was $ 14 and fits like a glove. It’s just begging to make a showing at countless Christmas parties this season.
4) I have actually come across some designer clothing for amazingly cheap here. Hello $ 400 Elizabeth and James dress for $ 40. None has ever been in my size, but someone lucks out.
Rag-​O-​Rama is really well organized and very fairly priced. Their employees are always friendly and helpful. It’s really a fun place just to go and look through the racks. You’re bound to find something hip, ironic, designer, or theme party every time you go.
I realize Rag-​O-​Rama is primarily for the cool and hip of L5P, but even a would be Buckhead Betty like myself can find so many treasures here, albeit for all the wrong reasons.

I’ve never found anything worth buying to date, but I always enjoy browsing thru the racks of hideous clothes and neon colored «rave» accessories. Maybe one day, I’ll strkw gold. but until then. I’m happy just window shopping.

Clothes for all the hipsters in Atlanta. I imagine that this is just exactly what all the strangely-​attired youths in the area are looking for.
Lots of slightly used clothing, some vintage stuff… Lots of large-​sized sparkly heels and fancy dresses for all those who would call the place «Drag”-O-Rama.
I’ll probably pick up something from here at some point, especially since I live within walking distance. Gotta love the sunglass selection as well. Costumery, here I come!

Rag-​O-​Rama is a clothing and accessories thrift store located in Little Five Points. There’s another Atlanta area location in Sandy Springs. Like Junkman’s Daughter, Rag-​O-​Rama is sort of an icon of the L5P community. It’s popular and always busy the times I’ve visited.
The store is big and carries a lot of both men’s and women’s fashion. I recently visited to find 80s vintage clothing to wear to my company’s 80s-​themed summer party. I visited a few stores in L5P, such as this one and the Clothing Warehouse, as well as Goodwill and the Junior League’s Nearly New Shop on Howell Mill Rd. When it comes to funny, fun, and funky clothes, Rag-​O-​Rama, followed by the Clothing Warehouse, had the best selection.
Rag-​O-​Rama has fitting rooms. The thing I like about shopping for these kinds of clothes in-​person as opposed to online is because I get to see and feel the quality/​condition of the fabrics and try them on. The store’s selection changes daily because of the constant influx of «new» clothes.
The store pays on-​the-​spot cash, check, or store credit for items brought in. If you plan to sell clothes to Rag-​O-​Rama, be sure to understand the rules and limitations which can be found on the company’s web site (
). The staff is selective, so only a small fraction of the clothes you bring in will actually be purchased by the store.
If you’re looking for alternative, retro, stylishly edgy fashion, Rag-​O-​Rama is the place to go. While I have seen the occasional Ralph Lauren Polo shirt, it’s more the exception than the rule — you’re better off going to Goodwill for more modern, mainstream, and conservative apparel. At Rag-​O-​Rama, the sneakers selection is colorful and different. The men’s t-​shirt selection is varied and interesting. You’ll see the most random things sometimes, such as a 1989 Cincinnati Bengals Super Bowl t-​shirt (complete with printed team roster) t-​shirt to a bright neon green «I want my MTV» t-​shirt. Totally rad. In addition to used clothes, I’ve seen new costumes and wigs. Good for Halloween.
Pricing can sometimes be whack. For example, I saw a pair of white shutter shades, like the pair Kanye West wore, priced at $ 14.95. You can buy a 12-​pack of those shades from Amazon for $ 6 with free shipping. T-​shirt prices vary and I’ve seen some semi-​raggedy ones go for around $ 15 – 20, which seems overpriced. I can’t justify spending $ 15 +tax on a worn and faded vintage Walmart t-​shirt. However, I have seen Levi’s jorts and good condition red Umbros for around $ 10 each. Score.
Parking consists of pay lots and street-​metered parking. However, street parking is free on Sundays. You can also find free street parking along neighborhood side streets, such as Washita Ave. and Austin Ave, if you’re willing to walk a bit.

Have to give Rag o Rama a 1 because I am ROYALLY pissed at them! They put a $ 75 boot on my car after I walked to the gas station to use the bathroom and grab a cup of coffee across the street. I had made $ 15 off my clothes and came out to a $ 75 boot… I vow never to shop anywhere that treats their customers this way! What a shame SO SO DISAPPOINTING… will never ever go back!
