Business Owner

Alex Lowe is a Mastering Engineer with over 20 years of music industry experience. As owner of Red Tuxedo Mastering he has put the finishing touches on projects from nearly every genre of music. His work can be heard on Grammy nominated recordings by Gungor («Ghosts Upon The Earth» and «Beautiful Things») and Earl Klugh («Naked Guitar») .

Before starting Red Tuxedo in 2002 Alex worked with many notable musicians, engineers and producers including Brendan O’Brien, Ricky Keller, Paul McCandless, Derek Trucks, Jimmy Herring, Kofi Burbridge, Outkast, Nine Inch Nails, Curtis Mayfield, TLC and Aretha Franklin.

Alex holds a degree in Music Production and Engineering from Berklee College of Music (1992). He’s engineered for many of the top studios in Atlanta including Doppler Studios, D.A.R.P, Silent Sound, La Coco and Southern Living At Its Finest.
