Serena is fantastic! I got in touch with Serena because I wanted to learn how to do a natural work and going out look. I’ve never been good at makeup and Serena was able to teach me how to apply my makeup while honoring the look I wanted to achieve. Her instructions where clear and easy to follow, and when applied right, she showed me how to get the look I want quickly and without much make up at all. She went through my existing makeup and told me what to keep and what wouldn’t work and why. I’d highly recommend Serena to anyone who wants some support in learning how to enhance their own looks.

I was looking for a makeup artist to give my teenage daughter a lesson. She came to our house and was very sweet. She gave a great lesson with very valuable advice. I highly recommend Serena for a lesson or application for an event.

Found Serena on Unilocal and I was so fortunate to find such a great makeup artist on here! I’m not that great at formal makeup or anything dramatic so I knew I needed a professional to do mine for my engagement pictures. At first contact, she was quick to reply to any and all inquiries and made sure I was happy with everything before I walked out the door.
It was a typical hot and humid GA day so I was so happy she took special attention to make sure the application stayed put and didn’t melt! No raccoon eyes here! She even helped me with my hair after I went for a blowout elsewhere and the curls were way tighter than I wanted… talk about great personalized customer service! She was so easy to talk to and put me at great ease! I loved how my pictures came out and I would definitely recommend her to anyone in need of good makeup application at a competitive price!

Serena is fantastic. One of the best haircuts I’ve had. She goes above and beyond giving you a haircut considering the shape of your head, the behavior and temperaments of your hair. She also gave me a very helpful consultation before and after the cut. After 6 months of looking since moving back to Atlanta, she will be my go to for my hair from now on.

Serena Jenkins has been cutting my hair for almost 5 years now and there is no one else I would trust. Not only has she never led me astray with a cut or color but she’s shown me how to care for my hair. I used to have really fine, limp, oily hair and Serena has totally helped me transform it. Serena is awesome! She not only did my engagement photo shoot NOV2011 but she also did my wedding OCT2012. My wedding party consisted of 10 bridesmaids, Mother of the bride and me. I was skeptical on whether or not she could do all the girls on time but not only did she do all the girls but she was ahead of schedule! My bridal party had girls of all shades from a deep olive tan to coco skin tones… and she was able to compliment all their skin tones! I would certainly recommend Serena for large and small events!

First, I must thank my fellow Unilocalers for writing reviews for this salon and in particular, my new stylist, Serena Jenkins. I took a chance and I’m so glad I did! I arrived with no vision for my hair, other than «fix it» — I’m sure this is every hair dresser’s nightmare. We talked about my hair and my styling habits, then Serena began a dry cut. This was my first dry cut (cutting hair dry then washing and restyling) and it makes so much sense because hair obviously behaves very differently when it’s wet so you’re able to see the new look better. Serena spent some time giving me styling tips so I’d be able to replicate at home, which I have been able to do each and every time. Serena was able to make some minor changes to give me a much more sophisticated and stylish look, and I am totally pleased. Even my mother, who is notoriously vocal about my hair, said it’s the best it has looked in a long time — major compliment!
I immediately got the impression that Serena genuinely loves bringing out the true beauty of each of her clients, whether it’s through hair or makeup (her true passion). It’s always tough trying a new stylist since you’re both trying to figure out if your personalities and style are a match, much less learning the quirks of someone’s hair, but I felt we connected and that I’ve found a new partner in my beautification process. As for the salon in general, it’s a very pretty and comfortable space, the type that I’m sure has lots of chatty and friendly regulars who like to stay awhile. It’s very convenient to the Westside, Buckhead, Smyrna, and Vinings. Call and ask for Serena — bottom line, she is awesome!

I have been to multiple hair stylists over the years and Serena is by far the very very best! She always gets my hair just right and it looks better than it ever has before. Sometimes people seem to have a tricky time with blonde hair but Serena is AMAZING at it, every time! She is so sweet and wonderful and I would recommend her to everyone, especially if you’re a blonde (natural or not, she’ll make it look natural). Love her!

Serena is the best! She did my makeup for my wedding as well as my bridesmaids. My wedding was in August and partially outside, so you can imagine how humid it was. Our makeup stayed perfectly and looked amazing, even ten hours later!
I would highly recommend Serena for wedding parties. She is very professional, good at what she does, and so friendly and kind. She did an absolutely amazing job with our makeup and made us look great all day long!

Serena is absolutely amazing! She is always doing research on the most current trends in hair and makeup. She works with your ideas and then creates something 10 times better than you imagined!

Serena is great! She is great at make-​up but even better at hair. She knows blonde like no other. I have recommended Serena to several friends, and they too have been more than please with her. She has an amazing knowledge of not only what she is doing to your hair, but she’s great with tips and tricks on how to maintain what you want.

Serena is a real pro. Best guy cut in the city hands down.
