Dr. Smiddy is by far my favorite doctor (and I’ve seen a ton)! He and his office staff are super nice. He’s intelligent and understanding and took the time to get to know me without any judgements. I highly recommend him for anyone in the area.

Dr. Smiddy was awesome! He took his time with me and didn’t rush. He asked tons of questions and didn’t preach or harp about anything like many doctors do.
I felt like he really listened to me and what I needed.
His staff is very friendly too!!!

I saw Dr. Smiddy from 2007 until I moved from Atlanta in 2013. I found him to be a caring and thorough physician, who helped me a great deal. His staff is excellent as well. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good doctor in the Druid Hills/​Emory area.

I arrived early and completed my paperwork. 5 minutes after my appointment time I saw the doctor come from the back and look around before going back in the back. I found this doc on a website and I was a little nervous. He took his time and we talked about all sorts of health-​related topics including texting while driving and wearing seatbelts etc. I was happy with the way I was treated and I like Dr Smiddy.

Dr. Smiddy is the best internist I have ever been to. His bedside manor is meticulous and he makes me feel at ease, which is always a difficult state of mind to reach when I am at the doctor. I always leave the office with absolute confidence in his standard of care. After a deaf friend of mine went to see him, he was astounded at the accommodation that Dr. Smiddy made for his disability, which all of his previous doctors failed to do. Dr. Smiddy is just a very real person and he treats everybody with respect, which a lot of doctors seem to forget about.
