I’ve been coming to this location for almost a year now and this is my favorite tanning salon in the area. The staff isn’t pushy with products but will definitely help consult with you about what you’re looking to achieve and how you can get there. The memberships are flexible and the beds are always clean! They even helped me come up with a tanning schedule that worked with my busy 8 – 5 life. They also legitimately care about your skin — I started to come in too often and they actually told me to stop tanning because it was too much for my skin, which I really appreciated because most staff members don’t take an interest in you on that personal level nor are they that honest. I shopped around at other locations before choosing Solar Dimensions because of the friendly staff, membership options, and tons of locations that are convenient for me. Definitely recommend!

This place is ridiculous… Can’t even use my membership during posted hours if it close to closing time beware the girls will turn you away giving various excuses! The truth is they want to get out of there so they don’t want you to tan close to close. Will not be going back to this location!

I love this staff! Even if I’m in a hurry, i still love to chat with the staff here because they always make my day so much better. They are so genuine, sweet and down to earth. Plus, they are always happy to help you and the tanning is excellent!
If you want to find a great spot to tan, for a great price and not be constantly pushed in to buying extra items or add ons — please take my advice and go here!

Extremely disappointed!
Looking to get my summer tan started, I visited their website before going for the first time. They had a coupon for the Sun Angel bed. Which, at the time, seemed like an incredibly great deal. So I obliged.
On my very first visit to the site I ended up waiting for over 15 minutes while the one girl working behind the counter was on the phone with another customer, apparently explaining every single bed they had, all the lotions, their ingredients and even some small talk about special occasions. A couple other customers walked in behind me and when the associate finally got off the phone she attended to them first. I get it, I was new, but it was mildly irritating and not a good first impression.
My first session in the Sun Angel was okay. There was supposed to be a «Cucumber Aroma Therapy Mist» which turned out to be just water, no aroma at all. My second and third attempts to use my sessions in the Sun Angel were futile. They don’t take appointments and they only have one of these beds. So I either had to wait 20−30min for the bed or purchase another session in a different bed. On my last visit (yesterday) I chose the latter and opted for a Bronze level bed. I wasn’t expecting much, but I definitely wasn’t expecting the bed to be from the early 90’s either. The bed itself did not even have a fan. There was a dusty fan at the head of the bed along with an equally antique boom box on a table that looked like came from the Goodwill next door. The bed itself was terrifying and made strange rumbling noises and shook while I was in it. I stayed in the bed for the full 15 minutes and a day later I still have no color. I expect maybe a LITTLE bit of color, or even a burn from a low level bed, judging from past experience at other venues, not so here.
One final comment. On my last visit yesterday (before my experience in the Bronze Level bed) I was entertaining the idea of purchasing a few sessions in the upper level beds, considering that very morning I heard a commercial for Solar Dimensions advertising their sun beds as «Buy Two get One Free» to prepare for Spring Break! Whoooo! Right? No… When I mentioned this ad to the girl behind the counter she had no idea what I was talking about and said they had no such promotion going on. When I heard that same commercial on the radio again today I decided this place needed to be reviewed. Keep your money. Don’t tan here. Terrible. It’s like playing Russian Roulette to get the sessions I paid for.

My first visit to this salon was mediocre. The staff member just pointed down the hall where my bed was located, rather than saying «Welcome, let me show you around». There were no towels in «#15», so when I was complete tanning I had to go searching for supplies, along with the restroom. Turning the bed on at this location is different as well, I would have known this with a quick orientation. This is a very dated location, the sign out front looks as if it is about to crumble off the building.

BUYER BEWARE. I’d give a zero if I could. USed a Groupon to get a spray tan. Made the mistake of getting suckered into buying a package before I got my spray tan. HUGE MISTAKE. I have used many spray tan facilities before and never had the problem of being ORANGE.
After remaining orange over the next 2 days, I called SD to complain and ask for a refund.
They stuck to company policy that there are absolutely no refunds. SO UNLES SYOU WANT TO BE ORANGE OR GIVE $$$ TO A COMPANY WHO CARES MORE ABOUT THE BOTTOM LINE THAN CUSTOMER SERVICE, STAY AWAY.

Today is the 1^st day of Spring and we all know what that means. It’s time to get that tan on! Summer and pool time is fast approaching so it is time to start soaking up the rays and getting a tan in preparation for it; and with the weather in the 80’s here in Georgia right now it makes it a little easier to do.
BUT, not me. I’m as pale as a ghost and don’t tan easy at all, so I rely on spray tanning to keep me looking my darkest during the summer months. Usually I don’t even do that, I just go out to the pool or lake or beach and blind others that are there having a great time with my glowing pale skin.
I had been playing around with the idea for a while now as if I wanted to get a spray tan since I’m going on a cruise in a couple and weeks. I guess I was spiritually summoned to Solar Dimensions through the email gods sending out a heck of a deal for a 14 day unlimited membership to the VersaSpa for only $ 69; and to make it even easier for me to accept this deal is that this location of Solar Dimensions is right across the street from my house. So I bought in and will not have to worry about extra liability insurance and the fear of blinding those around me when I do go on my cruise.
So far, I’ve visited this location 3 times since purchasing my 14 day membership and am very pleased with my VersaSpa spray tan. The staff at this location is a lot better and a lot friendlier than at other locations of Solar Dimensions I’ve visited in the past. They actually go out of their way to help you out and make sure you know what you are doing when you are there.
