Stem’s Cafe

Less than a quarter mile from my house and someone else had to tell me about the place. Actually what they said was the place has good hot dogs. Im like well how good can a hot dog be?
But when the entire nail shop began shouting out their orders to the person going to call in the order, I decided I needed to make a stop here also.
As I walked in, I was like ewww… and old building with years of grease smells in the wall, what have I done???
Well, I was waited on promptly, the lady at the counter explained to me that breakfast can be ordered at any time. I decide to go with the hot dog, as the breakfast menu looked like breakfast I could get anywhere, and since the whole shop had bragged about the hot dogs, I stuck with that option. I was glad that I did.
The hot dog wasn’t so much as good as the cole slaw which was freshly made and the chili that was atop the hot dog, which the server also says is made fresh daily. I saw her make the cole slaw so that I can attest to.
yes, its a greasy spoon, but its a pretty good greasy spoon.
