Having just, over from Portland, Oregon to Atlanta. at the top of my list of. Must dos… find a stylist. I found John through Unilocal.He is great. He really knows what he’s doing. My curly hair never looked better.
He listens to what you want to do and does fantastic color.
The shop is near Trader Joes so parking is tough. They told me to park in front of the shop and give them the keys and they would move my car as soon as a spot came up. They did that and there were. NO problems.
The thing is, John keeps his clients! Once you find him, you won’t want to go anywhere else.

Tania, my colorist and hair-​cut stylist, is excellent. She listens to you during her consultation, honestly tells you if the color will work, and then tries her best to achieve it. Most of the time, she does an excellent job getting your hair to perfection the very first time. If not, she does not sleep at night thinking about you, makes sure to fit you in her very busy schedule, and then makes your hair right. Better than right, outstanding.
I have sent friends to her — all of which love this place.
Tania is wonderful! I am adventurous in color, but very picky. I have been everything from brown to ash and gold blonde to now a strawberry blonde. I recommend this salon and Tania highly.
As far as the salon itself goes, it’s pretty minimalist and industrial in feel. It’s fine and works, but nothing that special. Part of the charm, I guess! It’s definitely a laid-​back salon versus an always crazy busy, super trendy, only-​allowed-​to-​wear black place.

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Jon Devlin for years (going back to when I had a ponytail!). He’s been at Studio Todd G for a while now and they have been wonderful. Everyone on staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is usually not bad (except when Music Midtown hits); I usually schedule around lunchtime to grab a bite down in the shopping center with the Trader Joe’s down the hill.

Kelly C is the best! I have always had a super hard time finding a stylist that I like enough to remember their name after I’ve left my appointment. For years, I was a Great Clips girl mostly due to frustration with not finding someone who gets what I want & delivers. But!, my prayers were answered when I stumbled upon Kelly at Studio Todd G! She listened to what I wanted (and studied the massive catalog of pictures I brought with me), gave me her suggestions & tweaked what I was envisioning to suit me & personalize my style. I’m really particular about the cut, but never really put much thought into color. She suggested some great options that worked out beautifully & gave me hints on ways to sustain my new do & hue until my next visit. And all without sending me into the poor house. On top of all of her championship styling, she has an all around great personality. She makes you feel comfortable & provides you with a buddy through the long hours it takes for us ladies to look pretty & that’s hard to come by. I’d recommend her to anyone all day… and I have! I’ve sent a few of my female & male friends to her & all have been more than satisfied when they left. She’s my best kept secret that I couldn’t keep.
Aside from Kelly’s awesomeness, the salon is just as awesome. It’s a cool, comfortable & unpretentious atmosphere with a great staff. The owner works just as hard as his staff & is super sweet & complimentary of his stylist, which I think is important. They’re also located in an easily accessible area of town right on the corner of 10^th & Monroe next to some of the finest restaurant & shopping establishments in town. I can’t think of a better place to visit!
At Studio Todd G you can count on getting exactly what you’re looking for within whatever budget you have & walk out feeling like you got way more than you paid for.

Love, love, love Studio Todd G! I’ve been going to Tania now for over five years, and as long as I live in Atlanta I’m not going to anyone else. The whole experience of going to the salon, whether it’s for a cut, color, or both, feels like a day of relaxation with a girlfriend. And as a mom of two young kids, any time I get to feel relaxed and pampered is worth its weight in gold.
The salon is upscale, on-​trend, but never pretentious or snobby. Everyone is very welcoming from the receptionists to the stylists to the owner, the main man Todd himself. You get the feeling everyone is very supportive of one another in this small Midtown salon that’s tucked away in the bottom of a condo high-​rise.
The salon offers a nice selection of snacks and beverages, including a pretty cool coffee selection and free wine upon request (always a nice perk).
Tania is excellent in feeling out what the customer wants while also giving guidance where necessary. With me a lot of guidance is necessary, and Tania has steered me on many a hair adventure, all of which have turned out great! I have at times been a blond, brunette, and redhead over the past three years, and Tania has pulled off all of these looks flawlessly. She’s also cut my hair countless different ways over the years – she’s currently layering it and cutting it with a razor. Oh, and the shampoo she gives is out of this world… best head massage ever. I always feel so much less stressed when I leave.
Over the years, Tania has become a genuine friend, and I love going in and venting, chatting, sharing, whatever, just like you would with a girlfriend. If you want great hair in an awesome atmosphere, Studio Todd G is for you. Check it out.

I have nothing but good things to say about this salon and every service they offer!
I came here after another stylist at a different salon had made a horrendous mess of touching up my platinum roots (she left a very golden, very obvious ring around my head and didn’t bother to completely fix it when I asked).
In one session, Tania had me back to normal, and even explained what went wrong and how she fixed it. I have stuck with her ever since, and even referred my boyfriend to this salon. He has his hair cut by Tiffani and she always makes him look good!
The staff are inviting and unpretentious, and the salon itself is clean, full of light, and decorated with taste. The only downside is that sometimes parking can be a little difficult, but even that doesn’t happen very often.
I would have no problem recommending this salon to even the pickiest of my friends, I know they would love it.

Fabulous stylists with great skill. They have a very chic location without being pretentious. Todd, Tania and Tiffani are extremely talented and take great care to make sure you look your best and are happy with what they have done for you. You will feel very cared for, and walk away looking fantastic! Tania is my favorite!
