Swat Radon Mitigation of Atlanta

This company installed a radon mitigation system in a house I just purchased in January 2015. My neighbors came over and told me that the mitigation system tube should go over the roofline of my house but they had it pointing directly into an intake vent under my roof line. When I called them to come and correct it they happily scheduled the appointment with a 11 to 5 window. I took the day off work and they never even bothered to show up or even call to tell me. When I called them they said their tech got busy and lost track of time. Needless to say I hired another company to perform a Radon test and it was a 4.7 and it should not exceed a 4.0. I used the new company to correct the sloppy and negligent work done by SWAT. I would not recommend using this company. This is one of these cases where the cheaper deal is not worth the risk!

This company improperly installed a radon mitigation system in our home which resulted in water damage to our ceiling. They came out and fixed the part that was «put in upside down», which stopped the water from coming in, but said they were not responsible for fixing the dry wall and paint damage from the leak. Eventually, they sent a tech out to repair the dry wall, after we told them we’d escalate this. He did a terrible job patching drywall and never came back to repaint. He just left us with a rough drywall patch in ceiling. They were rude and unprofessional the entire time. Terrible office management and customer service! Clearly, the could care less about their reputation, or don’t know about Unilocal

This company is a scam. Luckily I realized before paying them. Lot’s of pressure to hire them ‘today’. Buyer Beware!!!
