History
Established in 2010.
Sweet Cheats, created by Shirley G Hughes and husband Robert Tubbs with help of friends and family. Shirley is a National Level Figure Competitor for the NPC. While training/dieting for competitions, she craved different sweets. She took notes on those cravings and made sure she had them when her strenuous dieting and competition was over.
Many times, she could not get her hands on specific treats so she started making little treats for herself. She decided to infuse her «treats» into cupcakes for herself and her teammates as personal gifts.
Instantly, friends and strangers alike started enjoying her cupcakes. Requests started coming in and demand was on. She started selling them on a whim. Now, Shirley creatively and passionately bakes full time!
The name «Sweet Cheats» comes from her competition background. While in training, a cheat meal was implemented once a week. Shirley’s «cheats» were usually sweet concoctions. It only made sense to call the company Sweet Cheats!

Business Owner
Sweet Cheats was created by Shirley Hughes along with her husband Robert Tubbs with the help of many friends and family. Shirley is a National Level Figure Competitor in the NPC. During her training and dieting for competitions over the past 3 years, she craved many different things. She diligently took notes on what she craved making sure she had those specific items when her strenuous dieting and competition was over.
Many times, she could not get her hands on the specific flavors she craved so, she started to make little treats for herself. She then decided to infuse her «treats» into cupcakes not only for herself but for fellow teammates, the RocStarzz, as personal gifts.
Instantly, friends started enjoying her cupcakes. From there, requests started coming in and then demand was on. She started selling them on a whim. Now, Shirley creatively and passionately bakes full time and loves it.
