HANDS DOWN THE BEST WAXING PLACE EVER! The pain is minimal and the customer service is off the charts! I am very and extra over protective about my ‘private area’ but this is a place I trust 100%!!!

Definitely a fan! Making my appointment was super easy, and the receptionist I spoke with was very kind and professional, the atmosphere is extremely calming, which is a big deal for me, and I didn’t have to wait long!
The actual waxing experience was as pleasant as possible. My girl was super sweet, funny, knowledgeable and GENTLE. I will definitely be coming back!

I called to make an appointment and was put on hold. Not sure if she forgot I was there but a few minutes into holding, salon associates began to have a very unprofessional conversation amongst each other about who forgot to put a request in for towels, how they had facials scheduled and needed to make it work with one towel. Still holding … The person who answered the phone is now speaking with I suppose a store manager, whoever inquires about how business is going. She goes on to say that the phones are slow and there are very few appointments, 8 –_​_​_​_​_​_​_​– Could have been 9, an absolute mess!!! SMH If it could have been, would have been no stars for this location

I’m a fan of their ummm, more personal waxing services. The home care products, not so much.
I’m also not a fan of the boutique thing that they have going on.
But back to the good part, very professional and professional technicians on board to make the best of getting your naughty bits getting snatched!

I have to give this place 2 stars just because the aestheticians are very good. The management is the problem. I’ve been a regular customer for over a year, but not anymore. As long as you like your service there’s no problem but if there happens to be any issue (in my case two burn scars on my eyebrows from the tint/​wax process) don’t look to Managment to resolve the situation. Another review said the same thing. The Managment is poor and do not take care of their long time customers.
In my case they pretty much brushed me off when I had an issue. After my appointment I went to the desk and mentioned that I didn’t like the results of my eyebrow wax and tint but I was still fine with paying because I was in a rush. About an hour later I called because that I had noticed scabs around my eyebrows. They told me the manager was with a client but would call me right back… she didn’t. When I called back and was speaking to the manager she said that she was busy and she’d call me back in 5 minutes, she took my name and number but never called back. I called one more time and was put on hold as soon as I asked for the manager again. I waited several minutes but the manager never came to the phone, making it obvious that they just didn’t want to deal with me at all.
Honesty I’m no longer upset about the scar I have, but I feel like going back would just affirm that it’s ok to treat your patrons like crap and they will forgive and forget.

Sweet Samba is great except for the Buckhead location. I was 8 mins late for my service and instead of informing me that I would have to wait until the person after me was taken back even though I was sitting there when the lady walked in. I was kept waiting for 35 mins and when asked how long it would be was told five mor mins five mor mins. When I complained the receptionist then let me know because I was late for my apt I was having to wait until after the next apt. I then asked for the manager and was told they could not give me that info. The young lady at the desk has terrible customer service and basically dismissed me. I work in the service industry Sweet Samba and my shop as well as myself have amazing reviews. I will not go back to the Buckhead location and at this moment I’m not sure if I will revisit any of the other locations.

Thought that this place would be the answer to my waxing needs — NOT!!! I was looking for convenience since I work down the street and skill. I was waxed by a girl that had been there for 9 month. She was personable but waxing is serious business. She lacked experience and it showed. I also had a reaction to the the wax that has never happened before. I am disappointed and will not be returning.

Very fast and efficient. I’m a hairy beast of a woman, yet somehow they manage to snatch me with minimal pain. I’m still trying to figure out how they do that… I think it’s the type of wax?
This has become my go to spot. DO make an appointment however as walk ins are almost impossible.

The BEST Brazilian wax experience I’ve had yet! I’ve gone to several places from Cobb to the Perimeter area for different was salons, I’ve tried groupons and living social places and they all have had different issues, but Sweet Samba is my new wax home!!!
The woman that did my wax was so friendly and even thought didn’t have an appointment, they got me in right away and the place is so clean and visually appealing.
Since it was my first time, I was able to get the intro Brazilian rate of twenty five dollars and it was worth it! It was literally little to no pain which is rare for me during waxing, and she was so friendly and played music and chatted with me the whole time, so it went by really fast. And she educated me on sugar scrub and how to keep up my hair down there in between time. I felt so comfortable with her and I feel definitely be returning!!!

I love Sweet Samba! Great customer service as excellent waxing services. I have gotten a Brazilian more the once here and loved it! They talk you through the waxing which helps alot:) my hair didnt grow back quickly which is another plus. Sweet samba has set the bar compared to where else I’ve been like Brazilian by Andriea which was terribly and unprofessional.

Definitely nothing like their competitor across the street Brazilian Wax by Andreia which is way better. Maybe my esthetician was new or inexperienced but it took her forever (more than 30 minutes) to do bikini wax & gloves kept getting stuck which caused me more pain. I didn’t allow her to finish because my skin was in pain & she was taking too long. I looked at the progress before i left and noticed I had blood spots where my skin broke from her going over my skin too many times with the wax. I will never subject myself to this ever again so I won’t be returning. Introductory wax price is good but I will stick with what works for me since you get what you pay for.

Amazing! My FIRST waxing experience.
The first thing I noticed was how pleasant the receptionist was upon making my appointment and helping with directions– so nice! I was so apprehensive about going through with it, but the lady who waxed me introduced herself and I immediately felt calmer with her endearing attitude. I honestly can’t say enough good things about her. It was the farthest from uncomfortable I have ever felt; she was really and truly exceptional.
She began the waxing. Although it was painful, she had some way about her that made it seem like everything would be fine. She made it so comfortable, and I felt like I could open up to her; in fact, we were giggling most of the time. I highly recommend her to anyone, especially if they are uncomfortable with bearing all like I was. I will definitely be back!

Amazing service. LOVE the care and patience that the waxer took with everything! Their wax is amazing! Cannot express to you how out of her way the lady went to make it a comfortable experience! Wish I lived here so I could come back again.

I just moved to Atlanta and decided to try Sweet Samba. I was able to get a same day appointment which is always helpful. The $ 35 first time special is extremely enticing. Once I arrived I had to wait maybe 3 minutes. I had Logan and I think that made all the difference. She was so outgoing and friendly that it took my mind off the waxing. The room was clean, she was very thorough and it barely hurt. Yes, they don’t give you a towel to cover, but do you really need it?
I will definitely be coming back and sending friends.

I have always been a fan of Sweet Samba Midtown and Vinings. Yesterday, I decided to book a massage and facial at the Buckhead location since it is closer to my house. MISTAKE!
This location is so poorly managed. I made an appointment for 10 AM for a facial and massage. The massage was awesome and scheduled first. I finished on time. When I was ready for the facial, they told me they were running 30 minutes behind schedule. What?! So early in the morning? How? Was I double booked? No, the customer before me was late and they took her! So I should suffer as a result?!?
Needless to say, I left. I am the paying customer and there are plenty of spas in Atlanta that will take my business. Unbelievable and completely unrealistic to expect customers who have an appointment to wait 30 minutes… with no place to sit. I will NEVER return to this location and plan to call the manager on Monday to discuss their policies.
