I used to really like this place. The food is decent(you really can’t go wrong with JR Crickets wings). However in the last few years the customer service has gone out the door. They are extremely slow. Even when it isn’t crowded it is slow. Often the wait staff is rude or acts uninterested in you. You cannot order a glass of water, you must buy a bottled water or die of thirst. But I think the worst infraction by far was when there was a game on that virtually all of the customers banded together and asked the manager to play and he refused because he wanted to watch some game with his small town local college team. So despite the fact that we were spending our money we were forced to watch Florida Coastal College play football instead of Alabama. Unacceptable. Needless to say, they have driven me to Dugans down the street for my sports bar of choice.

Now named Dreams Sport Bar… horrible. After a great workout I just wanted a place to watch the NBA playoff. I ordered a salad and was kindly informed they are only serving wings and fries. Really…No reason. just don’t want to make anything else. They also didn’t have the drink I requested. We happily went home… server was nice.

A full star is being generous. Really! I came here on 12÷29÷11. Just looking for somewhere to go, hang out and catch with my friend I came to visit. When you come in, you have no idea what to do(considering the velvet rope and all), self seating or wait for a hostess? After a minute or so, we realize it was self seating. We took a seat, and placed a drink order. I decided to go to the restroom. The horror! The place was a crime scene! Unbelievable! Who knows what was on the floor and stalls. The place hasn’t been cleaned in eons! I didn’t want the cuff of my jeans to touch the ground. Needless to say, I didn’t order any food. If the bathrooms are that gross I can only speculate what the kitchen looks like. Save your coins…

Look. After experincing the Wyndham Hotel next door, this place was an unexpected surprise. Look, it’s a dive, when my wife and I walked thrrough the front door we both looked at each other and I asked her did she want to go. We reasoned that we didn’t want to search the area(was there only to position ourselves for a morning flight) for something to eat without a car. The area is kinda dicey and your radar has to be sharp for incoming adversity if you know what I mean. So, we sat down and ordered the usual fried sports bar fair(appetizer: fried catfish nuggets, and 2 main courses Tilapia/Shrimp and Seafood Combo) and the thing is this… the orders were brought out quickly and piping hot by a very personable and attentive server. They had(and I counted) 14 monitors pumping all kinds of sports including a massive projection T.V.(at least 150′ diagonal) in front of us. Nice, for a sports junkie like me. Never saw a double bar where there are 2 bars positioned in front of each other. I need to get out more, I goved on from guess. We got there around 1645 and left about 1900 as the place got lively and we were engaged in conversation and light banter. We left full and happy and immediately observed a police action/chase across the street. So, the 4 stars is more for the rescue and being right on time than anything else. Otherwise it would have been a 3, but hey like lotto… you never know.

It’s cool spot if they would give better service food is ok but again service suck and they add 18% to final cost when over 40.00 not worth it

Part bar, part karaōke, part club — This I’ve never seen before. It’s pretty lively for a Wednesday night. There was a live DJ. It gets pretty loud inside so it’s kind of hard to have a conversation. Cool place. The food — we got a shrimp + wings plate and a ribs + wings plate. Wings — crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. the mild sauce got pretty spicy after awhile. great wings! Ribs — awesome sauce. meat just falls off the bone. Shrimp — good but the ribs are way better. you only get 5 shrimp with the plate. Only bottled water is served here. boo =(

So I met this guy from an online site… he’s in town staying at a hotel on Old National and he suggest that we meet here. Is is wrong for me to state here that he’s a white guy? All my friends and family are like OMG you are taking him to the hood… and I’m like NO… his company(Delta) puts him up in a hotel in the hood… and since he’s obviously been here before, its all good… RIGHT??? WRONG!!! So I get there and he’s practically the only person in the place besides the people that work there… so please tell me why it took our waitress 20 mins to come over and ask if we wanted anything to eat. I’m just glad he ordered my drink when I called him and told him I was getting off at the exit. So we place our order(me…buffalo shirmp w/fries…him…shrimp/rib basket)…the food was edible and I like the«hotness» of the buffalo shirmp. He thought his food was edible also, but stated that the ribs were cold. We did have to ask the waitress for eating utensils, and maybe its just me, but her attitude was CRAPPY. I mean the entire 2 hours we sat there I think she came to our table 4 times, and I’m all about giving me my space in a resturant, but seriously people… I got there at 7… we left at 9:30…and still… she only came by 4 times… once to get our food order, to bring the food, the next round of drinks, and the check. I couldnt tell if it was because we were an interracial couple(or maybe I’m just getting it into my head that I’ve started dating white men) or if the service just sucked. I mean the entire time we were there I think only 4 other people came in… two ladies sat at the bar and played the video poker thingy and two guys came in basically to shoot the breeze with someone else that worked there and she only came to out table those few times. I wish I knew what kinda tip he left her now that I think about our service. I know he laid down $ 80, but I also went to the bathroom, so I’m not sure if she bought him back change or «kept the change»…but really would three rounds of drinks each, and two dinner platters come up to $ 80 at JR Crickets??? Also…there were plenty of TV’s in this place but only a few on them were on and none of them were on the sports channels. I started to ask her if we could watch a game or something besides Access Hollywood, but she came to our table so few times that when she did stop by, I didnt think to ask or she came and went so quickly I didnt have time. I can’t say that I won’t go back here, because he does come to Atlanta twice a month, and stays at the same hotel, so I’m sure I’ll be going back if he wants to… but I tell u… the service here is nothing to Unilocal about(pun intended).

The food is ok, if your a sport fan you will love the TV’s but other then that the place sucks. The wings are too small and the service is what really make this location bad. Do you know that they charge 1.50 for blu cheese what place sales wings and then charge extra for the dipping sauce that is just outrageous!!! Then when I asked the woman about the issue she pointed to a sign that stated if your rude or just having a bad day then there is an additional 10 dollar charge… man please… They have lost a customer for life

Stopped by after work with a few coworkers. Very big sports atmosphere with all the televisions going. Everyone seemed nice and the wait staff handled our drinks and did not bug us. Overall, we enjoyed it.

This is a sports fan dream. I thought that all the high def tv made me feel like I am at the game. I went with my sweetie so I did not have the problem of man hitting on me, but I don’t think that the waitress was happy that we were not drinking because when he ordered funnel cake she gave him an eye roll and said«That’s all» I got wings and fries and they were really good but i should have ordered them hotter.

If you want to watch a game and your on the southside then this is the place to go. They have at least 20 televisions for your viewing pleasure. They even have them outside for their patio seating. The waitress are all very nice and attentive! The only thing about this place is if your halfway good-looking then the men are all over you. I was waiting on my dude and I swear I was in there for maybe 20 minutes and 6 guys hit on me, 3 offered to buy me a drink, and one sent a note over through his waitress that read«do you have a boyfriend?» Then when my boyfriend did get there he left the table to use the restroom and they were back at it. I was like«what the hell is going on here?!» This is definitely not a date place. But if you are trying to meet guys then this would be the best place to go! lol But like I said this is a cool place to watch sports; you can turn to whatever sport you want.
