FRESH: As in, those build-it-yourself toppings are never frozen. Never canned. Never processed. Vegetarians rave about quality options (including the coveted Daiya Soy Cheese) and there’s also wheat and gluten-free doughs. Speaking of dough, all are made in-house every day. And if pizza just seems like too much of an indulgence, there are plenty of sub and salad options (and we’re talking real salads, not the shredded lettuce kind you get at other unnamed quick-assembly lunch spots).

History

At Maddio’s Pizza Joint, when you walk into the warm, contemporary, new Italian pizza joint, you will be greeted by a pizza maker who offers you some choices — dough, sauce and toppings. While guests can choose one of nine amazing signature pizzas, guests personalize their pizza starting with a whole wheat or regular dough which is made from scratch using a decades old dough recipe Andrew acquired from a Brooklyn Pizzeria. One of six homemade sauces, including Maddio’s Signature Tomato-Basil, a Herb Pesto and a Spicy Buffalo
«We have gone to great lengths to develop a recipe for craveable, fresh food» explains Matt Andrew, founder of Maddio’s Pizza Joint. «We learned early on the importance of using fresh ingredients; our vegetables, which we source locally when available, are delivered daily. made from scratch products — dough, sauces, dressingseven our meats are 99.9 percent hormone free. The customer will taste that we are not just another neighborhood pizzeria.»
