Before visiting, my friend told me if you don’t go to Waffle House while out in Atlanta you’re a failure. There’s a bunch of Waffle Houses almost on every other corner in downtown Atlanta and this one was packed on a Saturday night. Haha after a night out pulling all sorts of shenanigans with six girls aimlessly drunkenly walking around at 2 am seeking for food we finally stopped here and coincidentally I hadn’t become a failure. Hands down best drunchies. And their waffles and eggs were on point. Their waffles were nice and fluffy. They have so many different options for you to choose from. Service was quick and direct. I wish we had a Waffle House opened 24⁄7 around LA :(

Waffle house… Waffle house. I have heard a million references to the waffle house from music to movies. The one thing that no of those mediums mentioned was the sanitation! I mean yo! I couldnt believe that it wasnt shut down due to health standards or violations. I will start with what we ordered. There was two orders of All Star breakfasts, a chicken biscuit and a couple orders of some philly cheese steak burger thing on Texas toast. I was really scared when I bit into my chicken and tasted like some sort of pork maybe salami? I thought how could this be? Then the cook opened the freezer door that housed some of the meat and it was all laying on each other in semi closed plastic(not freezer) bags. So I got a little transference or cross contamination on my breast. The waffle was a little cake like to me. I prefer a thinner crispier waffle. All of the other food was ok. The alarming thing was that the cook was alone and cooking things on the same griddle, in the same pans, with the same utensils and worst with the same gloves. There was no washing or sterilizing of anything while I was there. That blew my freaking mind! I guess maybe ATL residents are cool with this? Perhaps because at every Waffle House we went to this was the case. Not so sanitary practices and food safety along with one cook and hash browns and food scattered along the floor. I wouldnt eat here again, I didnt even though my kids went back. This reminds me of a George Webb restaurant like we have back at home in Milwaukee. The food is cheap and there is bounties of it. So come hungry leave full and you wont break the bank.

Been sitting here for 15 min since we ordered. Juice and coffee came in at the 20 min mark. No straws, no creamer. I see three waitresses talking to each other instead of serving. Food just came and everything was cold and the bread was super crunchy. I love Waffle House. But this place’s service is the worst.

Bless our server, Kiki.(I think that was her name.) She put up with my drunken craziness, which included me spilling a half-a-plate of hash browns on my(now grease-stained) pants. She also witnessed my attempt to eat a steak with my hands(since my knife and I didn’t get along so well that night), and do the«nae nae» to… no music. Or was there music? I don’t know, but I killed it. She even gifted me a Waffle House hat, which looks like one from the Nickelodeon TV show, Good Burger. So, my first ever(yes ever) experience at Waffle House was like – err – hooking up with that sort-of-attractive-but-hella-cool-right? booty call from college. Don’t front. You know. Both of you may go out to two totally different parties on Saturday night, but around 1:30−2am, y’all text each other like«My place? In an hour? lol.(Insert sexy-face emjoi.)» And then it happens, and y’all don’t talk about it. Then it happens almost every weekend for the entire summer. You might date for several years. Wait, what? Is this TMI? And you know what? That’s why I LOVED my first Waffle House experience. Their dishes — whether it’s sunny-side up eggs, greasy hash browns(either served on a plate or on a pair of pants), or undercooked waffles — don’t really taste all too great; however, their food does get the job done after a long night of debauchery. Like my Saturday night. Waffle House — you can totally be my side chick. And no Kiki, even though you killed being an amazing server, I’m not going to tip you 100%. Because I’m Asian. And we’re still amazing at math even after starting off the night with whisky drinks, a crazy wine tasting, and multiple shots from Claremont Lounge. I also don’t have Ludacris-type $, hence, that’s why we ended up at Waffle House. And I can make that joke, because I’m Asian. You got 25%, though. Haha. I did what I could. Anyways, thanks for the memories, Waffle House. I’ll be back again in the future. I’m gunning for that second paper hat.

Coming from Seattle I was excited to try a «southern» Waffle House. However, I was pretty disappointed. I guess I don’t really know what a Waffle House is because I thought I was going to get chicken and waffles, but only got break food — no chicken. The food was good and the staff was nice, but it is pretty much just diner breakfast food.

Being from New York visiting a Waffle House when you are in the south is a must! This Waffle House was conveniently located not too far from our hotel. We sat at the counter. It’s such an awesome experience to get a front row view of your food being cooked. We ordered pecan waffles, sausage, bacon, and scrambled cheese eggs. Everything was delicious! Due to the proximity to Georgia Tech this location has a little Buzz with all different types of memorabilia. The service was incredibly friendly and lively. I definitely recommend his place to others and be sure to get a picture with Buzz!

If you are in need of a quick cheap breakfast and especially if you are a Georgia Tech fan, definitely check this place out! If you’re having breakfast at Waffle House, you probably know what to expect. The main differentiator here is that this one is located just off the Tech campus in Technology Square. Their décor is 100%+ GT; it’s like a shrine. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area, or if you want to annoy a friend from UGA. :)

You can feel the good vibe on the atmosphere, the people that work at this location really have a very positive vibe, and love to show it to its customers! Congrats for that! I feel energized after leaving this place! The only negative that I see is that the food sometimes comes a bit on the greasy side. I would recommend to them to try to control this better, but there is always people that like it that way, not my style. Apart from this, the food is very good and inexpensive. The service is fun, efficient, fast, and you are always greeted with a smile! Good way to start your day!

Normally write a review to rate the food experience but hey this is a Waffle House. Yes the food was just fine. Good consistent Waffle House grub. Here’s why the 5 stars… clean, efficient and nice atmosphere. Not always what you get in a Waffle House. But, the wait staff was having fun, yes enjoying their job. There was one server in particular that visited the jukebox(old term) a couple times and proceeded to sing and dance a bit while she was delivering food. It was infectious, I found myself tapping my foot. One customer walked in the door and immediately started to dance along. Wouldn’t it be great if all our workplaces made people feel like they wanted to dance along when they walked through the door? Made for a great start to the day. Thank you Waffle House server girl…

BESTWAFFLE I’VEEVERHADINMYLIFE! No I’m not even kidding. I’m from LA so I’m used to Roscoe’s but nah. This ain’t got nothing on Roscoe’s. I also ordered cheesy eggs, grits, and hash browns. Bomb! And so cheap! All that including a cup of coffee was $ 12. Can’t be beat. If you’re in town visiting ATL, this place is a must. Can’t wait to come back.

Came to this Waffle House the other night while visiting here in Atlanta and I must say it was a pretty good meal! What other place can you count on to have piping hot fantastic waffles and anytime of day? Yeah! Waffle House! This particular night we arrived maybe around 4:00AM and they were packed obviously because the peak times are usually when the nightclubs in midtown are letting out! With that being said I was impressed with how fast the service was and the customer service was also great! Well satisfied! Good job Waffle House!

Waffle goodness 24 hours a day! I have been to several Waffle Houses from Arizona to Florida and this is the best, most efficient, and cleanest one I have been to. We ate here three times over the course of 5 days in Atlanta for a conference and had excellent service on each occasion
