History

Established in 2005.

Watson Gallery is a continuation of the former Abstein Gallery which served the Atlanta area for 30 years. We focus on exhibiting works by southeastern artists and specialize in museum quality framing. In addition, Okarma Gallery partnered with us in 2010 and we extended the services that we offer to include restoration & conservation.

Business Owner

Carey Watson worked closely with Paul Abstein of Abstein Gallery for more than 12 years. Under Paul’s mentorship, Carey became skilled in the design and craftsmanship of custom framing. During his years at Abstein, Carey began exhibiting his artwork which was well received. After Paul Abstein’s untimely death, Carey & his wife opened Watson Gallery which has continued to serve the Atlanta area by offering an extensive selection of fine art by top southeastern artists and fine custom framing. His work can now be found in private and corporate collections throughout the United States and abroad.
