Extremely expensive! Even more costly than Native Sun! I shop around for pricing on all suppliments, and Biomax is always the most expensive for lesser quantities! I feel so ripped off by them. Please shop around! The staff is pretty friendly, in person.

The actual establishment has a great variety of health foods and supplements. A bit on the pricey side, therefore I wasn’t too keen to buy the supplements there but the smoothie I had was delicious and the option of different protein powders to add is great as well.

I have been here at the beach for a week. I have gone to this place everyday while on vacation. I love the variety at the juice bar. If I was the owner of this place, I would look to team up with the owner of the manatee café in St. Augustine. That way you could get killer food and juice at the beach. I will take a 10% cut for the million dollar idea. Please make this happen!

selection of products was fairly good, and prices could be considered competitive for the area and selection… beyond those, not much value for the price. Customer service is woefully bad… juice bar is ok but IMO is dragged down with the customer service experience. Why would a consumer visit a retail store when most products could be ordered online? For the experience, of course, much of which is predicated upon positive and engaging customer service. C’mon Bio-​Max, you can do so much better

Awful customer service !!! I went into this store and asked if they carried a particular product. The lady helping me tried to find it, but then the phone rang and she walked off abruptly. I thought she would return, but instead peered behind the wall (while on the phone) and gave me a dirty look. I simple, we don’t have it, or I’ll be right back would of been appropriate. Even, if she said, I do not wish to help you, I would of felt better so I could of moved on. I was wearing my baby, so maybe this store is anti children? Or you have to be a local? I’m not sure. Anyway, I guess they don’t like to sell anything to people they don’t know.

I popped into Bio-​Max for a quick second with a friend and man, I was impressed! I always thought the beach was in need of healthy grocery options when I lived there, and apparently I should have been coming here all along. With a bevvy of supplements, vitamins, and specialty food items, Bio-​Max offers an easy way to eat right. Staff was super friendly and helpful to my friend who was in search of a rather esoteric item. The fresh juice bar looked phenom and, if we hadn’t already started the day with homemade smoothies, I would have definitely gotten down on that! If you’re a health nut, you can probably find your fix at Bio-​Max.

The new juice and smoothie bar at Bio-​Max is the newest addition to the beaches town center. After a gorgeous bike ride down the beach with my puppy, I was in the mood for something cold and healthy to quench my thirst. I got a $ 1 off coupon for the new Bio-​Max bar at pilates that morning and thought it was a perfect time to give it a try. I ordered the Bio-​green juice which was made of kale, spinach, apple, cucumber, broccoli, celery, ginger and parsley. It was delicious! The drink was a little pricey ($ 7 for 12oz.), which is why I gave it 4 stars rather than 5. I’m so glad to see more healthy choice options in the area and will definitely be back.

I have been in health food/​vitamin stores up and down the east coast and Bio Max is as good as it gets. The store is just large enough to carry a good mixture of products and the staff and owner know their stuff. I found everything I use from this type of market here and some new product lines I haven’t heard of before. From Ezekiel bread to probiotics, they have it! The price points aren’t that different from other stores of similar nature, which I was surprised because of the high rent district they are in.
The staff is friendly and welcoming. They are willing to share their knowledge without any high pressure sales. If you are unsure of a product, ask for a sample. If they have one, they will offer it up gladly!
