I LOVE the Borgata. Being a HUGE dessert lover I was really excited when this little bakery was getting ready to open. They offer quite a variety of baked goods and gelato which all look so delicious. However, I was really disappointed once I actually tried the baked goods. But being that I live for dessert I went back and tried some other options there. In all I’ve tried the cupcake in the jar, cupcake, gelato and macarons and each one just seemed to be lacking in flavor. I think I’ve learned my lesson and will not be stopping by again. :(

WAYOVERPRICED!!! Even considering it’s a tourist spot! $ 12.00 for THREE(small to medium) cocktail shrimp! I ended up with the red velvet cupcake in a jar! It was horrible, and if you’re wondering, no, it was not actual red velvet cake, it was cake died red with a buttercream(not cream cheese) frosting. I took two bites of my $ 6.99 snack and through the rest away.

On a whim, bought a red velvet cupcake in a jar. OMG. So incredibly delicious, I didn’t want to eat anything afterwards that would erase the taste from my mouth! My friend(who isn’t a big dessert person) got the pistachio gelato. She didn’t stop talking about it all day. The next day she snuck back while I was in casino to get herself another and to get me another cupcake. I’m so glad I live 2-hours away… this would be dangerous if it were closer!

The only thing I tried at Borgata Baking Company was their gelato. They had a lot of varieties of gelato, but only one flavor without sugars. When I was deciding on what flavors to get, one lady wanted to get some gelato. However, she saw the only one option of sugarless and said how it was stupid that the raspberry yogurt was the only flavor and no other flavors to choose from. Maybe should of have more than one option for these customers to choose from. For me, their customer services and staffs was very friendly and answered my questions. I liked the crunchy heath chocolate flavor more than the chocolate mint one.

I wasn’t very happy with the service, but they had a variety of gelatos to choose from, I ordered the tuxedo milkshake, and it made up for the bad service.

Get the SLOPPYJOESANDWICH. It’s not your typical/cliché sloppy joe with the ground beef. This one is layered meat meat cheese meat meat cheese and coleslaw. I don’t even eat coleslaw and I ate this. I recommend you keep the skewer in while you eat it.

The Nutella whoopie pie was hands down on of the top 10 desserts that I have ever eaten!!! It was so moist and delicious and not overly sweet. I’m going to have to try all of their flavors when I go back.

During a recent trip to Atlantic City, I stayed at The Water Club and found this gem of a place in the hotel lobby of the Borgata Hotel. While Borgata Baking Company offers savory eats like sandwiches, you HAVE to get the sweets. Besides, the window display of its beautiful treats are hard to miss :) Borgata Baking Company’s signature dish is French Macaron. These are some of the best macarons I have ever tasted! The flavors range from fruity like lime and raspberry to sweet treats like birthday cake, salted caramel, and red velvet. They also have seasonal flavors. I tried the pumpkin, and it was amazing! The macaron shells are perfectly crispy and chewy, while the fillings are not overwhelmingly sweet but packs so much sweet flavor. The creator behind these delicious desserts is Thaddeus DuBois, an award-winning pastry chef who used to be the Executive Pastry Chef for the White House. He certainly lives up to his pedigree! I also tried the gelato. You can get a large gelato(up to 3 flavors) for $ 5.50, which is a STEAL considering how expensive gelato is in NYC. I tried raspberry yogurt, passion fruit sorbet, and coconut gelato. They were all refreshing and creamy at the same time. I wish Borgata Bakig Company was in NYC!

Pastry lover, but this place was over the top sweet. Cheap but too sweet, and my guy knew something wasn’t right when I walked by several times throughout the day and I didn’t even stop to get anything.

Love the fresh rolls they use for the breakfast sandwiches. Sometimes a long line but quick service. Highly recommend the bacon egg n cheese and the sausage version also.

$ 1.50 macarons! Best of all, you can pay with Borgata Comp Dollars(casino rewards) 1:1, which is awesome! These are unabashedly casino macarons: bright colors and splashy, glittery designs with bold, punchy flavors and very liberal use of sugar. We’re talking the sledgehammers of macarons here, not the subtle delicate confections of some upscale French pâtisserie. I tried Salted Caramel, Lime, Raspberry, Birthday Cake, and Red Velvet. Raspberry was my favorite, while Salted Caramel was strangely dense and chewy, and both Lime and Red Velvet seemed just a bit stale. So no, these aren’t the best macarons you’ll ever have. But, they are almost certainly the best $ 1.50COMPDOLLARMACARONS you’ll ever have! I also got the cupcake in a jar, which was moist and tasty if somewhat pricy. But who cares about that? $ 1.50COMPDOLLARMACARONS!!!

Located in the borgota hotel but this little place is nothing to write home about. What drew me to come here is that they were selling the cupcakes in a jar that I seen on shark take and looked like they offered a good variety of sweetness. I wanted a home baked tasting cupcake but what I got was a somewhat old tasting, cold, overly priced for what you get, cupcake. In summary, I won’t be back! Happy Unilocaling :)

Came here on two occasions while staying at the hotel here. We tried the salted caramel and red velvet macaroons and a cake pop as a late night snack. All were sweet and delicious, but my personal favorite was the salted caramel. The next morning, we tried the broccoli and cheese quiche. It was tasty and a good size to split for two, as a light morning breakfast. Their other sandwiches on display looked appetizing as well. Overall, good place to grab a light meal. It was difficult to walk past the gelato without getting anything. I still think about it to this day.

Looking for a sugar rush? Look no further! My cousin and I(mostly I) attacked this place when we walked by and saw all the delicious-looking sweets. I bought one of each macaron displayed(Cotton Candy, Lemon, Tropical Mango, Raspberry, Red Velvet, and Chocolate) and they placed it in a nice 6-piece box. The price was so good I had to buy a second box for later! I finished the first box before we got back to the car. I also bought a Miss Pink Cheesecake Whoopie Pie and Peanut Butter Whoopie Pie. Those were demolished the next day and I wish I had bought more. I didn’t have enough room in my stomach to try any of the gelatos or cupcakes. The line wasn’t too bad but it was moving fast. The ladies behind the counter were really nice. The next time i’m in AC I’ll be sure to stop by this sweet stop multiple times!

Yummy! Not only do they have good gelato(pumpkin mixed with chunks for pecan pie or try hazelnut and dark chocolate mixed together for a Nutella treat!), they offer cake pops, chocolate covered pretzels, macaroons($ 1.50 each), whoopie pies, fondant cakes($ 28), cupcakes in a jar($ 6), gelato mill shakes… But they also offer alcoholic gelato milk shakes! Not hard liquor but things like grand marnier! On a girls night out and about my mom and I tried the gelato flavors mentioned above. I chose the pumpkin gelato but actually preferred her dark and hazelnut gelato. We also shared a peanut butter whoopie pie. It’s not the best I’ve had but it has real peanut taste, not fake sugary peanut butter taste. Nothing was overly sweet and no flavor was over powering. Prices were reasonable but on the slightly high end with some treats. It’s a great place to have a fun treat!

What can i say about the Borgata Baking Company. On the sweeter side, they have a couple of different sugar free /no sugar aded options: cup cakes, gelato and other items. I’ve had the gelato, and it is good. I’ve also had the chicken slider… again good… but just wish they would serve it hot, and not cold. Packaged sweets, etc are a little on the pricy side. but everything else seems reasonable. And they are open 24⁄7 on weekends, which is great for those late night cravings.
