Great food, good prices and free entertainment. Breakfast specials are the real deal and the clientele varies from those escaping the boardwalk and those recently escaped from rehab or the institute.

Friendly and welcoming local breakfast spot. Parking is a bit of a challenge. Parked in the adjacent street with no problem. Food is good and at a reasonable price.

Fantastic food! Don’t let the décor deceive you! We ordered a Mexican breakfast and a typical American type omelette and both were excellent! Great coffee too!

Good was decent. Clientele a little sketchy. For the cheap prices it was what you’d expect. Spanish influence on the food. I had a western omelette that was good, nice amount of ingredients. Large portions and nice staff. $ 38 for a family of four.

Walked in and wasn’t thrilled with the layout however the food and service turned my view around. Food was a little slow to come out but for a cheap and filling breakfast, I can’t complain.

The food was great, but noticed this as the waitress sat our syrup down on the table. The syrup bottle has(at least) 3 fruit flies inside. I couldn’t believe my eyes and had to take photos. Also, I ordered pineapple pancakes and sadly only received regular pancakes.

Good and fast food. Perfect spot after a late night out. I’d recommend the omelets. They are very generous with the amount of items inside. They also have a good variety of Mexican dishes. This family-run place is perfect place to start the day. And very friendly staff.

Great food especially for the price! Tell them separate checks before you order! 11 girls on a bachelorette weekend went hungover and starving on a Saturday morning. We were very excited about the large breakfast menu and the cheap prices. The food was not greasy or blah as expected! It was actually really good and there were no errors with our orders(I got a veggie omelet, added spinach and removed cheese). They were very accommodating for a group of 11 by helping us move tables and chairs around in that TEENYTINY place. It is a tight fit. Our water pitcher was refilled regularly with huge smiles from the waitress and everything was hot when it was brought out. The bathroom was even cleaner than I thought it would be. The only issue I have is that we couldn’t split our check at the end of the meal. We should have told her from the start but when I asked«do you take credit cards» and she said yes I thought it was assumed. Usually at diners you can just go up and read off what was yours. That was my fault for assuming but at the same time if your establishment cannot split a check after the meal and only before the meal, then the waitress should ask«Are these separate checks?». When we brought up the issue someone who seemed like the manager was very polite and even sympathetic in speaking with us which we appreciated.

Casual American breakfast restaurant with Mexican influence just a couple blocks from the boardwalk. ‘Tortadehamony huevos’ was a giant breakfast sandwich with everything in it: eggs, meat, cheese, beans, lettuce, and more. Very tasty and reasonably priced. Orange juice was not fresh. Friendly and efficient service.

Lets be clear, this place is a hole in the wall and that’s okay. I didn’t want to pay for insane casino priced breakfast and decided to look else where. The place sits on the corner and is nothing to brag about. Good breakfast choices with several tex-mex types items on the menu, if you’re into that kind of stuff. I had french toast, scrambled eggs, bacon and a hot cup of joe and it did the trick. The western and captain omelets looked tasty too.

Hole in the wall. It was delicious and cheap. Staff was pleasant. We had the Huevos Chorizo which I would highly recommend and the Guy B. S. which was interesting. I would recommend.

This place is a hidden gem! It’s a tiny little hole-in-the-wall place that I probably wouldn’t have given a second glance were it not for other Unilocalers’ reviews. There are no frills to this tiny diner, but the food(breakfast) is amazing and amazingly inexpensive! My husband got 2 pieces of french toast, 2 eggs, ham, and potatoes all for $ 4. Yes, that’s right — $ 4. He said it was delicious. I had the bacon, egg, & cheese sandwich and a muffin(which they toasted on the grill which made it so good). All told, with drinks and all, our total was only $ 14 and we were stuffed! The place is frequented by a lot of locals and can be noisy and hot(no AC or ice when we were there), but it’s definitley worth the walk off the boardwalk.

It was good and inexpensive. I’d give it 3.5 but can’t really go all the way to 4. The Captain’s Special was a good choice.

Reaallllly great Mexican-tinged greasy spoon. Delicious giant mugs of coffee. Cinammony French Toast. Huevos Mexicana with awesome fresh corn tortillas. Neighborhood’s a little rough for the average tourist(yes, OLD A.C. is very much alive and kickin’, people), but it’s all smiles and yumminess in here. Funny how some of the best food in any town is where the locals eat.(Almost always.) I went back for a second meal before leaving AC. Got the Huevos Rancheros. Not as good as I used to get in L.A. or New Mexico, but GOOD! The fresh fried tortillas rocked. I’ll be back!

This place was ok for breakfast but has a terrible burger. Stay away from lunch items and you will be fine. The food is a bit greasy, and they use instant grits, but all food is fairly priced. Breakfast burrito is pretty good. May or may not go back my next trip to AC. It was certainly nothing special.

Okay, I enjoy this place a lot. The breakfast is great and the staff is really cool. The only thing is that sometimes they are so buzy that the platers are skimped on a little. Also, make sure you specify what you want because the order can sometimes be a little off if they are buzy as well. They are located right in front of the Atlantic City government building so it is always packed.
