went there today, the floor was very greasy, the philly cheesteak, hardly had any meat on it at all, and there were flys everywhere. almost 30 bucks for 2 cheesesteaks and fries. wont be going back there ever again.

Are usually go to this place every time I come down here which is about 10 times year. Went inside to order a shake it wasn’t even that many people in the restaurant. SOB told me to go wait outside and order and wait out there. Really I am done with this crap hole. Teach your deadbeat rude ass employee how to have good customer service

When I went there, 3 weeks ago, the staff was so happy! The waiter was so kind and fast! They had a funny dance and the place was very clean! Congra to the staff! Food was super fast and yummy! My first time there and I hope I find other rockets with full of joy! Yeah

The food was good for a late night snack, the wings were nice and crispy but a little spicy. The cheese fries lacked the crispiness that I longed for; I believe this was a result of the take out container, but I didn’t enjoy them at all. Over-all since not much was opened at 12:00 am this meal was okay.

Walked in and got a seat right away. Even when they were packed. Ordered a double hamburger with fries. They no longer have the unlimited fries here anymore which is a downer. The food came ultra fast. Also the waitress was very quick regarding refills so that’s a plus. The hamburger was ultra fresh and juicy. Tasted very good. Lastly the prices are good…

Ms Vee is Exceptional! But the fact that there is a dinner show… OMG! The cook, Estoban, is the SHIT! That man has the energy of little people… he was getting the meat off the grill just as fast as he was putting it on. Kudos to not only him, but their WHOLE crew Just found out they serve Alcoholic Beverages. The only ones I saw were Margarita, frozen and Rocket Fuel, frozen. Loved the RF, definitely tasted the 151… *will be back

Took too long to get served. Orange juice tasted like they added water into it. My sister’s eggs were burnt, why would the waitress even bring the eggs to the table? It didn’t seem that clean in their either. It looked like they rushed on my food because the cheese wasn’t even melted on my eggs. She told me to come back the next day with my receipt to get either 10% or 20% off. Umm NO.

Food is good and fresh/hot. Milkshakes are good. Only 4 stars because service is a little slow but not terrible. Prices are also good. Would come here again.

This place is always a hit or miss. Not because of the food, that’s always good. But because of the service. Some days they’re all on point and the service is great, others not so much. It’s not necessarily horrible, but it’s barely so so. In their defense, they’re usually always slamming busy. I’ve even seen it with lines out the doors. The food always comes out pretty quickly, and tastes great. The onion rings might be my favorite. The feel of the restaurant with the old school vibe is cool too. We always play the jukebox and wait for the staff to start dancing. Overall, it’s good and I’ll continue to come here. I’m only leaving 4 stars because the service my last trip was just awful.

I was excited for the classic American diner experience — I was well aware that Johnny Rockets is a chain store, and it delivered what I expected: OK-ish diner fare, at a convenient location that was open at convenient hours. I ordered a serving of chili fries and a spiked strawberry milkshake. The fries were on the small side, but were crispy and flavorful. The milkshake came down to $ 8.99, but for a boozy drink that was huge it was not too overpriced. Overall, a decent place to get your fill of burgers and fries, but not a spectacular destination place.

Can I give 3.5 stars?! On a Friday night at 11 everything closes in Bally’s. Even in Caesers. Everything. Well except for Johnny Rockets and the Noodle place. But after going to N.O.W. at the borgata nothing will ever rank. I’ve been to the noodle bar. Not great and over priced. I still can’t get over everything being closed at 11 on a Friday night. This place is always busy. It is nice to have a causal eatery in this location. So everyone with kids, or just $ 10 left in their pocket is rolling up into this place. And and nice as your severer is, the craziness WILL affect your service. For example, I ordered a side of fries. $ 3, and it was about 20 fries. It used to be a basket of fries. Booooo. But the milk shakes are huge! And delicious! At $ 5-$ 8 they better be! It is what it is. Quick food, friendly. Crazy and loud. Kids, kids, kids! But service isn’t top notch.

I’ve been here 3 times — two of the times I got a veggie burger but the 3rd time I got grilled cheese. Now, the veggie burger(aka The Streamliner) is SOGOOD. So good that I get it every time(because I’m vegetarian). I didn’t know you could get any burger with the veggie patty replacement, but I will definitely try that next time. I got the grilled cheese this past weekend just to try something new out but I am not a huge fan of grilled cheese and this was WAY too much cheese for me. It was a plus that they put tomatoes and onions in it and I dipped it in ranch and hot sauce, otherwise I felt like I was eating a glob of cheese. We also got Half & Half onion rings & fries which you can never go wrong with. I also got a root beer float which was 80% ice cream and 20% root beer which was okay enough for me to only get it once. Why buy it for $ 4 when I can make it myself at home. They have frozen alcoholic drinks available if you want, but we opted out of that. I will be back Johnny, next summer!

What can I say, who doesn’t love chef Guy F. I have eaten at his restaurants in various locations & always been a happy foodie. I love the simple diner style of Johnny Rockets. Tiny old time jike boxes for a nickel & the soda shop theme carried out to perfection. The place always seems to be packed, if you can get a table, consider yourself fortunate. Sitting at the soda bar or outside isn’t a problem. I gotta admit this little gold mine runs like a well oiled machine. Staff Is friendly, confident, professional & welcoming. I went for the chili cheese dog. Look at the picture, very unconventional looking, but it sure hit the spot. My partner in crime got a single burger & I was impressed with the amount of beef, the flavor was also awesome. A milkshake for me & a root beer float for them to top off our experience. The milkshake was mediocre, but the float was a delight. Prices were okay & you did not have to go outside from Bally’s to enter & exit the restaurant. It was a fun dining experience! What’s a girl to do? You can’t go to a 50’s style diner & skip the ice cream treats.

Johnny Rockets, ya did good… the second time around. The first time I came here, I had a bad experience with a server who clearly hated her job. My second visit was leaps and bounds better than the first. Service was wonderful, food was good, and I was happy. For starters, we had the sweet potato fries and a chili bowl with cheese and onions. The fries were amazing! I might even say they were the best SP fries I’d ever tasted. The chili, however, was pretty gross; a bowl of goopy mystery meat in red sauce with a thick film of neon orange oil on top. Do yourself a favor and skip this. For our entrees, we had a grilled chicken club salad and a Route 66 burger. I didn’t try the burger, but the salad was decent. A word to the wise: If you choose to eat on the patio out on the boardwalk, beware of the seagulls! They’re aggressive and will come after your food.

Johnny Rockets is why I like national chains — they are consistent and reliable! Nearly anywhere in the country I can find good vegan food — but Atlantic City was posing a unique challenge. Very few places delivered, and the local scene centered on smoking, drinking, and junk food. Sure, I could get a mediocre salad somewhere with cheap ingredients(I did!) but luckily Johnny Rockets has a solid vegan option — a Boca burger with caramelized onions, among other toppings. I also had some sweet potato fries. Great service and reasonable prices. Thank you JR for having this veggie burger on all your menus!

After a long night of drinking and walking in rough shoes it was nice that they let us be the last customers order food to go. I was so happy ! My friend and I rushed here since it was the only place open with good food. We both ordered grilled chicken sandwiches. The food did not take long to make at all. We were in and out happily. We were so hungry we ate the food on the floor of our hotel room and we enjoyed it so much. The chicken was so juicy and the fries had a great taste to it. What can you expect! It’s Johnny Rockets, it’s always gooD!
