History

Established in 2002.

Atlantic Artisans was developed in 2002 to exhibit local artisans in all styles, all mediums and not just wall art. Nance Ciasca, owner took a leap a faith and resigned from her tenure of teaching to jump into the arts. After a year open we added museum quality custom framing and expanded to local and American artisans. The art is always changing and each time you come in an new experience awaits you. In 2009 we added a graphic design studio that creates logos and all items to help market your business. We also moved locations, which we love. We are now attached to Zoe’s Vintage Kitchen and this helps create more unique art shows that incorporate all the senses. Come by and visit and we are sure you will be delighted!

Business Owner

Nance was a Social Studies and Language Arts teacher for 13 years before changing to her career as small business owner. She has always had a love for the arts and felt that artisans should be given a place to exhibit their work, not just at craft fairs. So in 2002 she did just that, as she opened Atlantic Artisans. With the loving support of her husband, daughter, family and friends she created her dream. For the past 7 years she has developed, expanded and made Atlantic Artisans come alive. Now she feels ready to pursue her own art career so stay tuned for more great things to come.
