I have called the Memphis area home for over 35 years, and have lived in the Tipton county area for the past 20 years, where I have helped to raise two fantastic children. Even though their mother and I are no longer together, we remain friends and share jointly in the raising of our children. The oldest, my daughter, attends the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and is majoring in linguistics with a minor in education. My son goes to Munford High, where he is part of the Munford High School Band, and will perform with them in the 2015 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

My mother was a huge influence on my work ethic, sometimes working three jobs to support my brother and myself. She is still working hard, putting in more than fifty hours a week.
