I attending a wedding at Hammond Castle with Matty B as the MC. He was amazing and so talented. I was blown away by his voice and musicality. Not only did he get everyone on the dance floor but was also charming and entertaining. I live on the West Coast and would fly him in just to perform. Great job! Matt was an absolute hit at our wedding — I think more people were watching him than me! Matt not only plays the sax but also sings and plays the guitar! There were times throughout the night that I thought a music track was playing and it was actually Matt singing! His live performing does not just end with cocktail hour, he performed all throughout the reception and was out and about on the dance floor with his instruments entertaining all of our guests. Everyone was talking about Matt non-stop throughout the ceremony and even on the shuttle ride home. Matt is truly a talented musician and great entertainer. It is evident that Matt takes great pride in his work. He was professional from beginning to end and was beyond pleasant to work with. Matt even took the time to pay attention to the fine details of our day. For instance, he showed up wearing a pink tie — pink and black were our wedding colors. Every wedding should have MattyB!

Matty B is exceptional as a DJ. We had family from NYC and down south and from 8 to 80 years old. Everyone loved him at our daughter’s wedding. He was tuned into all of our preferences — made terrific personal contact, selected music that inspired all ages and played his own instruments «live» which really brought the music home. He did an excellent job as the sound engineer for a complicated outdoor ceremony including several speakers and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. His selections for cocktail hour were perfect and even during the speeches he made the sound system work really well. As the mother of the bride I interviewed him for about a half hour on the phone and he patiently answered all my questions. He is a graduate of the Berkley School of Music and really knows his stuff. You couldn’t have a more versatile, tuned in and inspiring musician/DJ for your event. He brings it all together and people never sit down!

Matty B is an amazing musician and fun to work with! We were looking for a wedding DJ in Rhode Island (getting married at Whispering Pines) and found Matty B’s website. We ended up getting not only a fun guy who we are excited to have DJ, but also a fabulous musician for our reception and cocktail hour.
