After calling MANY places in the surrounding area, the closest place we could find for my parents to park their Rv was an hour away due to the recent rains and flooding. Shady Creek(the closest Rv park to me) didn’t have an opening but!!! was kind enough to save my number and give me a call when they had an unexpected opening. I wanted to contribute to my parents weekly fee, since they are on a retired(fixed) income and were not sure if they’d get a refund from the previous place, and Shady Creek was absolutely wonderful and flexible with me paying over the phone. I can’t say enough good things about the customer service, and of course, this is MY opinion but the location to my home. My parents said the facilities were clean, looked brand new, and although they didn’t get a pull-through spot, parking was easy for their monster rig. They are located convientently just north off HWY380 but just far enough to be nice and quiet. The park is almost surrounded with trees and has walking trails. My parents would, without a doubt, stay there the next time they decide to roll through town. Thank you, again, for accommodating my parents and being absolutely wonderful! ** Just a heads up, the place changed management in recent years and was re-vamped. You may want to take that into consideration when reading the older(low) reviews.

After making an online reservation and receiving a confirmation email that they checked and could accommodate my 97 fifth wheel for those dates I was called by the park manager and advised the park was full. To add insult to injury the manager added that no RV’s older than 2000 were allowed inside their park and then was hung up on when I wanted more explanation. Don’t believe your reservation email… This place clearly does not operate on the up and up.
