We are a locally owned flooring store and have been serving our community since 1985. We offer a large selection of carpet and hard surface flooring, including hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank), and LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile). We also specialize in area rugs, including custom made sizes. Auburn Carpet One is the one store for your perfect floor!

History

Established in 1985.

Auburn Carpet One Floor & Home has been proudly serving both Placer and Nevada counties for over 30 years. We are family owned and operated and take great pride in helping our customers make their homes beautiful.

We are part of the national Carpet One co-​op which provides us with national buying power, but still gives us the small and local feel with our customers.

In 2015 we added the flooring category of ceramic and porcelain tile, to go along with the carpet, hardwood, laminate, and vinyl we already carried.

We are happy to sell material only to contractors, those with their own installers and do-​it-​yourselfers, and we also offer full service installation for those who like the ease of a one stop shop for everything.

My brother-​in-​law Jared and I are the co-​owners of Auburn Carpet One Floor & Home. We enjoy working together and bringing our different strengths to the business. I am more business and numbers oriented, while Jared is good at and enjoys the products and installation part of the business.

I have been in the industry for over 10 years, while Jared started when in high school and has now been in the flooring trade for over 15 years.

We take pride in making our customer’s happy and empower our staff to do the same.

We are both active in the business day-​to-​day and are accessible and approachable if our customer’s needs are not being met, but we strive to make sure that happens as little as possible.

We appreciate our customers and their willingness to support local business.
