Auburn Extreme Powersports

I went in to have a front tire changed out, I got a call saying that when they used an impact wrench (no no) to remove my wheel, the fork foot (cast alum.) broke off in many pieces. It cost me over 400.00 to repair. The owner would not take responsibility and tried to tell me I didn’t
know what I was talking about… I am a 36 year journeyman machinest who works with cast alum. for a living. I have many dirt and street bike friends who told me their horrible experiences with Auburn Extreme Powersports… please beware…

We just moved to the area and bought 7 acres. Now we need to mow and take care of this property. We decided we wanted an ATV to manage the many tasks that a small farm would need. The guys here at Powersport were fantastic. We were not looking for racing quads for recreation. Although they have plenty of those! We were looking for a farm workhorse vehicle that would pull a mower and haul trees and such. They had exactly what we were looking for. We were able to test drive. We got excellent service. They took special time with us since we were both unfamiliar with the vehicle and made us feel confident. Great deal. Great service. Definitely recommend!

In my opinion– this is the best dealership! When I was ready to buy– no vehicles available– they searched all over, and found one in Reno– no dealer trade, no middleman– They put me directly in-​touch with Reno. I even called Auburn’s Sales Mgr, (on his cell– on a Friday night, no less), to ask what specifics I should ask about, before trekking to Reno. Since then, Auburn has become my dealer of choice– for the last 14,000 miles on the vehicle– 2 other dealerships are closer– but Auburn treats you like family, has fair (read lower) pricing, and exceptional service. They go out of their way to work you into a full service schedule, if you have a down machine and no appointment! Make no mistake– their service department is busy, so you are liable to wait awhile– but it is worth it! They will never sell you something you don’t need, they are not pushy at all! I would recommend their Sales, Parts, and Service Department to anyone!

These guys are great. I have been having major issues from a side by side I got elsewhere and they have been nothing but helpful. Sean (Shawn?) went out of his way, above and beyond to help me out and make sure I got what I needed. I would recommend to anyone to go here.

So we just walked up and down the street looking at all of the RZR’s and slingshots lined up. We went inside the store. Walked around, I had a shirt in my hand to purchase (still hanging there…). And got noooo acknowledgement whatsoever, until we walked out the door and someone said ‘how is your day’… Did not once offer to help us or give us any information. Only reason for any stars is they have a large inventory. Maybe because they don’t try to sell anything???

This place is great. Honest, genuine company. Knowledgeable staff. Jeff was very helpful during the whole process. Would recommend to anyone looking for guidance with their purchase.

For being the ONLY name brand dealer type motorcycle shop in the entire town these guys are ridiculous. I have another type of motorcycle so I’ll give them that but the don’t have ANYTHING in stock. EVER! I even called for oil today, like motorcycle engine oil. No dice. be a real shop guys or move over and let the honda dealer come back.

We stopped in this pass Saturday, they had a few people inside talking with staff, so we just kinda walked around abit and checked out what they had on the showroom floor (if you want to call it that, had stuff shoved, stacked and piled up everywhere) Not seeing a 900 Trail I waited till what looked like a couple of the staff were done with a family (mom, dad and two little kids). I got past them and stood at the I guess parts counter and finally one of the three standing behind the counter asked if he could help us, I asked if they had any 900 Trails in stock? The guy asked another staff guy if they did.
He clicked on the comp and said they did have a year 15 then said wait no they didn’t but thought they had a 16 out back. He went back in a office and came back out with a booklet and said the factory is having a $ 500 rebate but it was a dealer participation and that he could do $ 250 off? Then he proceeds to ask for my info so he could book an OTD price on it. I said we’d like to look at one first. So he walks out behind the counter and as he did that I called for my wife to come on outback with us.
She had gotten tired of standing there waiting and went to look at the t-​shirt etc racks in the next room.
She comes up behind us but the guy stopped and started talking with a guy and his ?? apparently he was buying a 1000 XP off the floor and started asking the guy all kinds of questions Meanwhile we are now both standing and waiting for him! He continues the conversation with the guy and starts asking him if he was going to go up to the Sierra’s for some ride they would be doing the following day.
So now I’m a little disgruntled to say the least, we stood there a couple more minutes and I finally had had enough and said F” it so we started walking towards the front door. Just as we got to the door I guess he realized we were walking out. So he yells «Hey do you want to look at the 900 Trail or not»?
I turned as we were walking out the door biting my tongue and only said «apparently your too busy kissing the guys ass»
Yeah so were weren’t buying the big dollar 1000 XP BUT they lost a sell and much more because of this employee’s piss-​poor customer service attitude.

We had been shopping for a new RZR for a period of time and spoke with Greg. Not only did they have the best inventory in the area, they proved trustworthy and instilled confidence. We bought the RZR and added a couple of accessories, one of which was the half windshield. The windshield uses a plastic clamp design and we were easily able to get 3 of the 4 clamped. The fourth was defective. We called back and they didn’t question the issue. They just said «bring it back and we will take care of you» and I think that’s the best thing I can say about them. You know they will take care of you.

Great experience here. Had some recall work done on my Sportsman. They were attentive, Friendly, And got the work done as soon as the needed parts came in from Polaris. Parts and service guys are excellent. Met the owner too. Very nice chap. Would highly recommend giving these guys your business. You won’t regret it.

I go here for all my dirt bikes and dual sport bike needs. The staff is Friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this shop.

Thank for all the help guys! Spent a week at King of Hammers and decided I needed a new toy! When I visited Auburn Extreme, I hooked up with Jeff who could not have been more helpful! They had all three colors for the model I was looking for which no one else had! Picked out the new white color and purchased it with no issues.
As far as there service and parts, well… I would give them 5 stars also!!! Broke the rear axle on my third ride. On the way home we stopped in, didn’t think it would be covered under the Polaris warranty. Anyways, Jake took a picture and a few notes I was told that they would make sure it was covered at no cost! WOW!!!

So i ordered some part from this place a few times and it seems that the 3 day wait always becomes two weeks, the last time it was the iwners son who placed my order for a couple parts and i was told it would be here wednrsday or Thursday so i call wed. And am told from someone it wont be here for abother 5 – 7 business days. So i tell him with frustation that i will look for the part somewhere else but to keep the order goin and then i hung up on him .
I dont trust trust the guy so i came in thursday [today]and wanting to see if it was com8ng, come to find out the guy from the phone cancelled the order … he said because i hung up on him he took it as i didnt want the order even though i said i still needed it. So i ended up talking to the owner today and he admitted it was his son who is new and did not know, sure accidents happen but you cannot just cancel on people and nit expect them to say something, i asked them to remove my info and i will let others k ow. The manager claimed he tried to reason with me but all he did was defend his son and employess which i applaud but then ask about my shop and what was the name so that he can write a bad review about me … lol these people are very vindictive and but seems to fit the area very well. I wont be using these guys anymore i will just take the long journey and go to a place in sac where you expect to be treated like crap .so folks i will not recommend this place unless you enjoy being lied to and treated like crap. If the manager were to pay to get my parts faster or even offer anything i would have never placed this rant. Hell i would have paid the extra just to get my enduro goin, but back to the old drawing board.

Bought my victory cross country here. Sales rep was not real friendly. Ordered a LED headlight with bike and had it included with the financing. After several months of not receiving it and constant excuses I asked for my money back. After several missed attempts to contact owner I finally got a hold of the owner. We discussed what was owned and agreed on refund amount. After 2 weeks of not receiving refund, I called and of course couldn’t get of a hold of owner. After another week of him not returning calls I finally reached him. He said he forgot and would get it in mail that day. A few days later I recieved about half of the money we agreed upon. Contacted them again and he blamed it on his accounting person that the screwed up. After another few weeks of not receiving balance I had to call again. He said he forgot and would get it out. Received check a few days later and of course check was short a few $‘s. At this point I was done with doing business with them. While filing away my 2014 paperwork found a check for an overpayment on DMV fees from purchase in August 2014. Check was dated Sept 2014. Deposited check only to get it back a few weeks later from my bank saying the account was closed. Sent them a certified letter demanding they pay fees and check. They sent check to cover original check with letter saying that I should of cashed it earlier. (I should of which is my fault). Thought it was crappy of them not to pay the $ 15 for bounced check. I own my own business and when I switched banks I made sure that any check that I wrote and wasn’t cleared we researched it before closing account. I will NEVER do business with them and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Get a feeling they are in financial trouble!

I’ve purchased 2 machines from this dealer and they are so knowledgable in directing me to the right machine for the job. After purchase they gave me personal service and delivered the machine to my home. The service department is awesome and always has been fare in my service work and explains what is needing to be done and the what the cost. I would recommend this dealer to anyone looking for expertise service and knowledgable staff for parts, accessories and riding gear.

Auburn extreme powersports values nothing more than the satisfaction of the customers, which is exactly why every time I step foot in the business it feels like home. The guys over there truely know how to put the customers first, just where they should be. Its really nice knowing that if I need a last minute fix up, or part for my bike the guys over there will help me out hassel free and as quickly as possible. My sure stop for any motorcycle needs!

I have been purchasing machines and having machines serviced for over 10 years. The service techicians are very knowledgable and are great at taking care of my machines. The counter staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a great dealer for service or sales. Thanks For always going the extra mile to explain service or accessories.

I have been using Auburn Powersports for the last couple years in servicing my ATVs. The service department has done a wonderful job in the periodic maintenance and repairs needed. I have never felt that I have been overcharged or had any suggested repair that was not necessary. I have the utmost confidence in Sean in the way he runs the service department.
I purchased a new Polaris ATV a year ago and did a lot of shopping prior to purchasing it from Auburn Powersports. Not only was the dealer close to home, but gave me the best price of the dealers I researched within hundred miles. No pressure sales, just a good clean honest deal; and that’s what I like.
I plan on purchasing another ATV from them this coming spring.

Wow. Never thought I’d be posting a 1 star review here. My previous review documents a great experience… I was sold a cheap tire and had it put on by a friendly person.
What I did not know is they sold me a front tire rated for only 500 pounds… AS A REAR TIRE. How dangerous is this? Incredibly dangerous for the bike I was riding which was 500 pounds without my 225lbs on it. The tire shredded after only about 1000 miles because IT WAS NOT A REAR TIRE that I thought I was buying.
Dangerous and ended up costing me extra.

I’ve started shopping here recently for parts for my motorcycles. The parts guys know their stuff and the sales guys are friendly. Their parts prices are competitive with prices in the shops in Sac.
