Okay I didn’t hate the food but Jesus Christ. The place was disgusting, we found multiple hairs in our food, and the man working was just awful. We watched him microwave our sandwiches, what the hell? He was rude and pushy and made the eating situation awkward. The floor and counters were disgusting and he would just set the food on his nasty counter. Even my styrofoam cup for the drink was dirty. For what it is, it’s kinda over priced too. One star, it sucked.

This is my favorite place to grab a quick bite to eat. Everything is well priced and the service is excellent. It is locally owned and operated, so they are very consistent. The menu has plenty of options and I haven’t had a menu item that I did not like. I lived in Auburn for 2 years and frequented this business weekly. I look forward to my next visit because I will be eating plenty of Block and Barrel. Convenient location and plenty of parking.

A little ways away from the main shopping areas but worth the extra drive. Excellent sandwiches and homemade banana pudding.

Great place. Ordered their cheesesteak, very good, especially the wheat bread. Owner is a friendly guy. Prices are more than fair. Definitely will go back there.

I’m surprised there is only one review, however I’m not surprised it is 5 stars. This place is awesome. The owner was very friendly, willing to chat with me and explain the sandwiches. He cures many of his own meats, and makes several of his own sauces. I had the Cuban and thoroughly enjoyed it. Plenty of pork and ham along with cheese. It blended so well. This place is definitely the best sandwich in Auburn(a place with surprisingly several good options like Bizilia’s, Big Blue, MCalisters, and probably second best is Chappys). Several sandwich options, friendly service, reasonable prices, and great tastes make this deli a must-visit.

I’m surprised this place didn’t have more reviews because this restaurant had a consistently good flow of people going through so I thought more people would have known about this place. This is probably one of the best delis in all of Auburn(exception being Chappy’s). It is also probably the most run down. I ordered the Meatloaf which was a hot meatloaf patty, ketchup, bacon, cheddar cheese, and a dash of ranch sauce. This was all on top of hot sourdough bread for $ 4.59. The service here is fantastic too. I wish this place was open for more hours and was closer to campus because I haven’t had a good sandwich like this in a while.
