Burney’s has sandwiches, side, and salads to go along with the best Hot Dogs around. We use Caspers and steam them to perfection so they snap when ya bite em. Pair a Steamed Hot Dog with an Anchor Steam on Draft while looking out on Historic Downtown Auburn from our window bar. Thanks!

Established in 1970.

Burney’s was opened in the 70’s and got a massive remodel in 2014. 20’s and 30’s Baseball vibe with craft beer and clean as a whistle.

Drove up to Auburn specifically to eat here. CLOSED
Sign says now open under new management and that they are open from 11:00 — 3:00, I guess that means 11:00 PM?

The old Burney’s had that lived in feeling and the smells to go with it. So when I walked in this afternoon and saw the two young adults working behind the counter, the ball ball memorialbila and the clean slate menu perfectly printed out I knew «change».
There were five customers already eating so I figured no wait. I order two regular hot dogs with brown spicy mustard no other toppings for I am a purest for the real taste. But I didn’t expect to wait 8 minutes, while I snacked on my potato chips and sipped my Coke. No sure the reason for the wait. I didn’t ask and was not given a reason.
My verdict; good length for dog as it protruded an inch out of both ends of the bun. Good large dog, but more luke warm than hot. Hot dog had excellent taste, chewy, bold flavor. Bun was fresh yet not warmed or steamed like same places which adds to freshness taste.
Not happy that the young man chose to sweep up around me after the other customers left. Plus the young lady cleared my empty plate and coke while I was still sitting (writing this review). What’s the rush. When you clear up in front of someone it makes them feel rushed to leave. So I am leaving.
