Great experience! I’ve shopped at several different pawn shops in the surrounding area looking for tools and Cash America was the best by far. I walked in and was instantly greeted by the staff and decent assortment of tools. Anthone found exactly what I was looking for and was able to work with me on the price versus buying new from a big commercial department store. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

This place is horrible. That’s the most direct way I can put it. The prices change with each employee you talk to (or overhear them stating a lower or higher price to a different customer). And since they don’t price things, this happens regularly. There is often a line to the door because their employees are so sluggish they take 3 – 5 minutes to check out each customer. And not to mention the staff is generally rude, detached, and unenthusiastic. It’s a dirty, unwelcoming joint.

Im not real happy with these guys. I called and spoke with Rob and later Anthony about a Honda generator they had listed on craigslist and was told that it was not new, but in real good condition. So I drove all the way to auburn to find that it was a real P.O.S. The gas gauge did not work, the battery was dead, (wouldnt start), it was scratched up and looked like it had lived on a construction site for several years. After I got home, I went on craigslist and discovered that the generator pictured in their ad was not the same one they were selling. The one in their ad was clean and had wheels on it, unlike the one they had for sale. That kind of deceptive business practice is unacceptable and makes me not want to do business with any of the Cash America stores. My recommendation to others is to shop elsewhere.
