I’m from Montgomery and I LOVE chappy’s. As most people from Montgomery do! This place just makes me chappy happy!

Food was excellent. My server was polite. However, the manager Kevin was openly rude to his staff and it seemed to embarrass them in front of customers. Also, the fact that Kevin is the reason I can’t enjoy a beer with my meal is the reason I’m giving 2 stars

Been hear a few times staff has always been great and the sandwiches have all been good. Had the Windy City this time and it has turned out to be the best yet.

The breakfast sandwich was good, perfectly toasted. Not a fan of grits and these weren’t anything to change that opinion. The staff was very friendly even though I was just there for takeout. I recommend ordering ahead for takeout as it takes a little while.

Chappy’s is a great place for your diner cravings. The hot and cold sandwiches here always hit the spot, as well as the large variety of soups that they offer. The service wasn’t as good as usual this visit, but has been exceptional every other trip.

I have been a regular at Chappy’s since I moved to Auburn in 2004! If there is ever a night where my husband and I can’t decide where to eat, Chappy’s is our default. The service is always satisfactory; the food is always flavorful & satisfying; and the prices are very reasonable! For cold sandwiches, you can’t beat their chicken salad or turkey croissant. Their French Dip is perfect during winter. The au jus is so flavorful without being overly salty. All of their soups are delicious, maybe with the exception of the chicken & rice, which is the only bland thing I’ve ever tasted from their menu. It just needs a healthy dose of salt & pepper to liven it up, but it’s a good option if you’re feeling under the weather. My absolute favorite thing on the menu is the Steak Teriyaki Melt with fries. The sandwich is served hot and is FULL of flavor! The meat is tender and the onions and peppers are cooked til they’re soft and full of the teriyaki sauce. Their fries are my favorite kind, because they are thin & crispy! I highly recommend Chappy’s Deli for breakfast, lunch & dinner!

This place was always my favorite while I was a student at Auburn and still is to this day ! Windy City Panini is like a pizza sand which, it is soooooo good! The club platter is pretty good. I recommend their Reubens as well if you like Reubens :)

Just a solid diner like setting. I never frequented the place when I lived in Auburn but the few times I did go weren’t bad. Service is friendly and fast and I think most of the desserts are homemade(though not sure what that means given that it’s a restaurant but i give them the benefit of the doubt).

Chappys is great for both breakfast and lunch/dinner. Plenty of options, all done well and with plenty of food. Prices are reasonable, not cheap but not too expensive but the service is excellent. Probably the friendliest and most personable staff of any restaurant in Auburn.

We’ve consistently eaten here for years. Burgers, sandwiches, wraps… I like everything except the salads. The fries are always perfect and now that we have kids we enjoy that they eat free every day. The managers are all really nice and service is usually quick and friendly. I imagine I’ll continue eating here regularly until I’m old and grey!

I love Chappy’s! This location is my favorite because the food and service is consistently good. I love the Maple Turkey Crossiant. I just tried the Patty Melt today — scrumdiddlyumptious!

Great marbled rye bread. That is probably the biggest reason I got to Chappy’s. Good vegetarian options. Great breakfast. Pretty decent for this culinary backwards town.

This is one of the best delis in Auburn. Everything on the menu is delicious and customization options are endless. The service here is wonderful too and the waiters are really helpful in recommending what’s good and what can be substituted and more. They have soups and pastries if sandwiches aren’t enough for you. The prices are also reasonable. My patty melt was only $ 4.95 and my side included a devil-stuffed egg. The BLT is also good and any of the sauces can be substituted. You literally can never get bored of this place because there’s so much they have here to try.

Some of the best burgers in Auburn. The mirror border can be a bit freaky, but it’s good to people watch. If you want to grab some lunch or dinner with some friends or the family, I recommend it. I usually grab a burger there and walk next door to Hastings to check out the video games and books. That is a nice night in Auburn for me.

Now that I no longer live in Auburn I look forward to football season each year so I can visit some of my favorite Auburn eateries and Chappy’s is one of my favorites. The Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich is why I go. Sure other things on the menu are good but its something about the combo of teriyaki and pineapple on top of a delicious piece of chicken that gets me smakin my lips… How this doesnt make the top 10 menu items I will never know. On top of delicious food — prices are cheap and service is lightning fast
