I have had the LCS20 for over a year now. Last Saturday I accidentally slammed the gun and damaged it badly. I called Clipper Creek and they overnighted a replacement unit for free. That’s what I call service!

Bought the HCS-​40P which I have owned for several months now.
The HCS-​40P replaced an open source charging station I purchased from a different company hoping to save a few bucks. I had to return that defective open source charging station as about once a month it would not charge my car and required a hard reset (probably a charge fault related to the device). That’s an unpleasant surprise especially when using the car’s overnight timer and needing the charge to go to work the next day.
I have had no problems with the HCS-​40P — with charging faults or otherwise. The quality of the parts is obvious (well built/​rugged unit, superior charging cord and charging handle). The 3 year warranty is great and the staff were friendly and helpful. Since I live only about 10 – 15 miles from their shop, I skipped the shipping and picked it up there.

I ordered a charger for my Volt and it arrived promptly. Not a big surprise since I like live close by. Paid an electrician to install it with permits. Everything was great for 1 month, then the charging station stopped charging. Clipper Creek sent a replacement but refused to pay for the cost to have the electrician swap the stations. Considering that it failed in the first 30 days, that would have been the least they could do, but no.
I do not recommend their charging stations!
